Have an M5 in now, crank, sometime start, stall - no codes set, Peter. No clue what oil is in it, what plugs, what the state of play is. I do know it has no coolant whatsoever - that's all leaked. The new battery that the dealership tested yesterday as "Good!" has 8 volts when I tested it after the recovery truck dropped it, so it obviously isn't. Just finished up an AMG Merc nowhere would touch, nowhere wanted to know about this M5 either. I wonder were we put here to deal with all the awkward stuff? Who knows. A V10 Formula 1 engine that's had no Formula 1 servicing - sure what could go wrong?? Note the da6 in the model name - some say that's an outré of 666 - the mark of the beast. They certainly appear fiendish enough for that to be true. Bunked off & spent the day welding up an Iveco that probably isn't weldable - a day spent on my back laying down tacks in impossible places - owner lashed out big money only to discover it's rotten. Dealing with the awkward stuff. Someone has to.
Yes! Great way of finishing a Friday. Thanks Peter 👍
