Thank you for this video. I'm coming from playing brass instruments, so I know how important posture is. This might not be the most exciting/clickbait-y topic, but so very necessary. So, my joints thank you ahead of time!
Well done Sanne! Very clearly explained. I still have trouble with number five, I usually pull up my shoulder and drop the elbow, which is a remnant of bad posture during horse riding xD I was thinking of making myself some 18th century stays with shoulder straps to train myself to keep them back and down instead of up and forward like the academic office goblin I've become the past years xD
Since I joined the Hurdy Gurdy community on Facebook, I keep discovering channels like yours. Thank you very much for your videos! For beginners like me with no teacher around at the moment, these lessons are a must-have (especially your vid about the different possible keys!). Liked and subscribed!
Curious about the Y-strap you use, yet you don't snap on both ends? When and/or why would one need a Y-strap over a regular guitar-style strap? Thanks.
Clearly explained and so nice! Thanks Sanne!

finger's crossed mine's getting here by the end of the week. Thanks for helping me start on the right foot.
Well done! This video should be mandatory for all beginners. It covers most of the mistakes that can be seen on yt. Thanks for the good work!
Thank you for the lesson. You have a very pleasant voice, too.
Thank you for another great video. As a beginner, I need to know these important basics.
