- I played version of this folk song in an epic style inspired by the version of wonderful artist Myrkur. The lyrics are in Danish. I don't speak Danish so please be kind. And sorry to all native speakers. I did my best.

Ramund would be a better man,

The queen gave him clothes immediately
of tow, bast fiber and leather.
"That kind I do not want," said Ramund,
"That doesn't make me look good," said Ramund the young.
Ramund walked by the salt sea shore,
there he saw seven giants stand.
»I take Ramund on my smallest hand
and throw him far from lands'.
"You alone won't do," said Ramund,
"All seven of you must come," said Ramund the young.
Ramund took to his expensive sword,
the one he called Dymlingen1 red.
He cut the seven giants in a jiffy,
so that the blood ran unto their deaths.
"There lie all seven," said Ramund,
"I'm still standing here," said Ramund the young.
Ramund took to his big knife,
the one he called Dymlingen expensive.
He parted the emperor by his life,
so that the head flew fifteen miles.
"I thought it would not bite," said Ramund.
"However, the blood is flowing down," said Ramund the young
Beautifull version - your pronounciation is excelent. However, verse 3 line 3 would be more aptly translated as: "He cut the giants, seven with one stroke"

Ich hab so eine krasse Gänsehaut bekommen.
Die nordischen Lieder haben etwas ganz besonderes für mich. Fühlen sich rein und alt an, weise und wie ein Zuhause.
