You’re gonna need some proper rubber race tires. I started with the cheap eBay/amazon stuff. Then I never looked back when I started using race tires that are temp matches. I really like sweep or rush racing. For track surface temp 70-100F i use 36 deg tire. 100+F I use 40 deg tire. I love 1/10 touring.
I've got the help from local club to set it up. Basically for touring in general is front spool or in this case locked diff. Open it up and glue the gears inside is enough. Rear diff setup is with medium to high resistance. It's with oil no.20000 on my track, yours might be different. Hard spring on both front and rear. 1deg front toe out. 5mm front ride height and 5.2mm rear. Again, toe and ride height differ from track to track.
Sequre SQ-01 bit.ly/3D8hAKa Here's my review ruclips.net/video/HOchoQJ1cjc/видео.html Basically it's the TS100 from another manufacture. It's really good and you can power it with lipo when you are outdoor as well.
KV means RPM per volt so you can multiply that by 8.4 (fully charged 2S lipo) and then multiply that with final drive ratio to get the RPM of the wheel. After that multiply it by the wheel circumference and you will get the speed in mm/minute if you measure the wheel by mm. So it's around 76KPH theoretical top speed.
@@exemch4826 Banggood, ebay or aliexpress. It's just a standard plastic gear mod 0.5 pitch so you can find it pretty easily. And yes, the shaft is 2mm.
@@BeaversHobby is the spur gear on the driveshaft have the same 2mm diameter or is it different? And would you recomend gaining top speed by changing pinion or spur gear? Is there an advantage one way or another? Also, Got it working today and after fixing some broken parts and also am finding that my suspension is rubbing the ground, is there a way to fix that? Sorry to ask so many questions btw, thanks
@@exemch4826 The spur slot is around 3mm and it goes into the rear gear so, different way to insert it. Both ways result to the same thing but adjusting the pinion is easier and has more choices.
Roof top race track, nice area looks lovely.
Good boy beaver frend! 🥰🐶

How can you make a wltoys k989 94mm wheelbase
Which soldering iron are you using. It seems really light and easy to manage around small projects.

@@BeaversHobby Awesome! Thank you for the information. Great video as usual, thank you for the content!
Is there any way to estimate top speed of a 9500kv k696 with 17t pinion and 25 tooth spur gear?

@@BeaversHobby where can i find a larger pinion gear? Or a smaller spur gear. For the surpass hobby 1410 would the shaft be 2mm?
