From an engineering standpoint, this "thing" deserves a lot of respect. If they can figure out and fix the flaws AND then make it good looking, then more would like it.
Why did not re-invent the Pulsar like they did in the 90's? Those were insane Nissan build a new Pulsar not why not just try the R version of that? It'd sell like free i phones give away!

I like the way it looks and I just own a Nissan Juke myself. Instead of scrapping the project altogether why not sell the body kit as Juke's wide body kit and let speed junkies sort out which engine to swap.

Friend has a Mercedes a class...paid the same price and both drive in leather interiors with turbo engines...but the gadgets and gizmos in the jukes out do the a class ten to one. He's said ever since he regrets not getting a juke. He paid for the Merc badge. The juke haters would be surprised how decent the car actually is.

Afterall, the Kia Soul is the 2nd most popular vehicle for Kia in the USA, even if it looks like a toaster. I think a Honda Element looks better but Honda marketing ignores anything besides an Accord or a Civic here in the USA.
i own a Juke SL, and i would buy a faster juke in a heartbeat. that's why i'm saving up to buy the Nismo. it's the feeling behind the wheel that counts.

#FifthGear What do I think of the Nissan Juke-R? I think it serves a similar, more masculine market as the Range Rover Evoque. If Nissan can vastly reduce the cost of manufacture and bring out something related, this, with less of a relation to the GT-R then it may serve more of an upper-class commuter market.. but wait! Is this not already here? Nissan have already got the standard Juke, and the Juke Nismo. For just £20,500 why would I want the Juke-R, when I can have the Juke Nismo AND a GT-R for less?! I agree, interesting project and I enjoy the concept, but unfortunately a waste of money. They may fare better putting their research into the hatchback market that competes with the clio, punto, fiesta etc.. but take it away from the Micra.
All the Jukes in America they thought teenagers would buy, unfortunately all the sales go to people 59 years old or older. I see mostly women 60+ driving them. Maybe sell a Nismo model some more might get sold, grin.

I have a 2013 juke nismo and it runs better than it needs to. I can't imagine how squirrelly the juke r would be.
God I love these things. I love Frankenstein cars like this and have enjoyed seeing these kick ass at that Russian 500 Unlimited event

I like the juke but a better sport model at best would be for me. One guy i knew did buy one lowered it and turbocharged it. It runs and looks well.
