- Hello My RUclips family took a quick trip to my state park on this morning.. the crappie are in MASSIVE schools rite now in south Mississippi. I've never seen the crappie in schools this early in the season it usually be around July and August when they start schooling.. Didnt really catch any big fish but i did catch a ton of good eaters and seen some nice ones.. I used 16ft and 17ft rod 10lb test mono & 1/16oz Lil Stumpy hair jig was the ticket. The Crappie are in 7 to 10ft on structure some are floating in 5ft as well.. this was a fun morning of fishing... Hey Guy Thanks For Watching and All The Support

Good stuff man! I've had 2 trips with my livescope now. Ive managed to catch some fish on it both times but it's been tough so far. I'm still figuring stuff out and I'm sure it'll get easier. Great video!😎🎣

they bunched up for sure. i might have to cast an ultralight rig to them. that would make for a good time. did you happen to look in any deeper water say 12 to 20 feet. i found the better fish i caught this weekend suspended in 20 fow.

The fish have been real finicky here in north Ms this weekend. I guess it’s the post spawn we r dealing with. What’s your favorite month of the year to fish? This will be my first year with livescope.
The post spawn make them act a little finicky 4sure they will be back to normal in a few weeks tho

Hey T, what’s your color limit and color gain set on? If you don’t mind me asking? Also, here in Ky I have experienced the same issue with the big girls turning away when I put the jig on their noses 😂
Its no problem color limit is on 8 color gain on 80
