I recently lost my Grandfather who taught me to fish for Crappie in Illinois. Watching this video and seeing those fish really brought back some memories loved the video LFG thanks you for all you do man
So I've been watching all of you're past crappie videos and I'm loving the content. I used to be a catfisherman only until I discovered crappie. I've been absolutely hooked for the last 5 years or so. Thank you for these kinds of videos!
That bridge has been putting out massive numbers crappie for years and years. I used to fish it during the 80's along side many boats, if you found them on the depth finder pretty much guaranteed limit. Lake Fork built in the 70's is a Texas Parks and Wildlife success and now a natural Texas Sunfish phenomena.
Good crappie video Justin. When I lived in Texas for practically all my life, going crappie fishing was a great fishing experience for me. We would locate them around "stick ups" and close to a creek channel even better or marinas. I would use the 1/16 oz jighead and mostly 1 1/2 inch black w/pink tubes. Jig the tip of the rod up & down right in place. Wham! That worked on Lavon, Fork, Ray Roberts, and even private ponds throughout east Texas. Have fun and be safe.
Crispy collector is a good name. I’ve got a 15’ X 52” with a 50 tiller on it. Favorite boat I’ve ever had. I call it the critter gitter. I also tie my own jigs and have perfected a double mono weedguard that really works well and doesn’t impede hook ups. I don’t sell them but I’ll give em away- reach out if you’d like to try a few
Again on Lewisville! Have caught alot of crappie under the i35 railroad bridge pillars that are odd shaped with corners you can drop a jig into!!!! Great video.
Hey you know you can put in at Westlake Park and save you some gas on getting there? Even big sandy will get you there faster. But it makes sense you put it there because you fished both bridges. I miss that lake. I recently moved up to Maine and the fishing is just so different. Good, but different. I’m ready for striper season to come in to full swing. The trout are starting to pick up again. I just caught a 22” Brown yesterday. You gotta come up here with Jon this season and get you some!
Yes, I know crappie fishing is popular. But I’m also sure LFG is the moving force behind Googan’s crappie bait direction. And I just wanna say thank you LFG. 🤙🏽
I LOVE that you show and explain the electrics. I’m a tech guy and getting back into fishing from when I was a child so this is super helpful! Now I want some crappie, but are they as good not fried? Trying to not fry the foods these days.
LFG- we use 2 flies up here and to get a more consistent fall we tie the large jig as our bottom bait and a smaller or even unweighted jig as a top jig, seems to work really well!
@@LakeForkGuy no problem- love the videos. As a hard core fly fisher I am biased but also like the catch clean cooks for crappie and other tasty table fare
Love how you're targeting different species, that catfishing episode the other day was epic! Will you ever try salmon/steelhead fishing from the bank? Maybe even on a flyrod?
Justin I got a couple questions for you. The first would you consider doing a crappie video not using Live Scope at all. And when will the new baits be available on the website?
Livescope is the way to go do you ever use fish attractants usually helps me on my home lake keep the golden crispy videos coming much love from Alabama
Your next bass boat should be an Allison because. 1. Their haul is laid all by hand. 2. They have tons of storage. 3. They are made in Tennessee 4. They do 80s to mid 90s loaded to fish with a 250R or 105 top with a 300R. 5. They are made of no wood. 6. They are the Pioneers of the bass boat. 7. They get about 2 to 3 times the gas milage. 8. They have docking headlights.
We used to use....darts with hair on them and catch crappie all day long bro,.,... How much is the forward facing sonar with box and all????? Want to save money and maybe try it

I love these videos with the crispy collector
Love watching the crappie videos. Can you record the livescope with active captain so we can watch the action on the graph as well

Rackley! My favorite video you’ve ever made man. Especially with the crispy collector

I love catching crappie. My favorite way to catch them is in the winter through the ice. Such cool fish.
Can't wait to try everything the googans have for crappie I got most of of everything for bass just hands down my favorite baits ever

Great info on crappie fishing, I'm going after church, taking me & wife & bucket of chicken 🐔😅 from Jay in Houston tx - please say 👋 to OSG. 😊
Gotta say, man... I'm digging the simplicity vibe. Good video!
First it’s always a great day when Lfg posts but on top of that it’s a crappie video I love your crappie videos lf keep up the good work

They taste better when you don’t use a radar to find them

That makes total sense to not get tangles

Could you possibly go over your truck cab and rack system you have ? Looking to do something similar
hey i see your fishing lake Lewisville, i basically live on the water on lake lewisville. love this place!!! and nice Crappie
That spot would be heaven to me… you’re a lucky guy to fish there.
Livescope is the way to go do you ever use fish attractants usually helps me on my home lake keep the golden crispy videos coming much love from Alabama
Can you set up a camera that looks at your fish finder screen so we can see what it looks like when you catch a fish?
Love your crappie videos. Can’t wait for this new year and new content. What is your go to fish fry seasoning God bless tight lines
love the crispy collector man such a sick boat
Now this is a relatable video

Love crappie fishing
Always enjoy your content. Keep it up.
This type of videos are amazing
Great video as usual!
That swivel trick is 💰
Catch clean and cook I love it 😀
was this Lewisville Lake?
As much as I love bass fishing and catching double digits, somehow fishing for specks and bream is still more exciting 😂
Love your content..Keep it going.. GooGan 💯
"Fiddle fartin my floozies!' ? You know most people can't pull that off. You sir, are gifted! 👊🤣😂🤣
LFG needs one of them Fly’n Lures
Love ya, man. Keep em coming.
What's the model of that particular fish finder? Also what's that contraption you used to anchor yourself to the pillar?
Can you maybe tell us what rod a reel and line you are using from googan S. Great video as always sir
I have always wondered, what that bag is LFG has all his crappie baits in. Does anyone know? :)
Good tips.
What is your set up for your live scope and pole on your boat there?
We used to use....darts with hair on them and catch crappie all day long bro,.,...
How much is the forward facing sonar with box and all?????
Want to save money and maybe try it
Good job
Never been this early! LETS GO!
Where did you get the arm for your livescope and box for your graph?
😍😍😍😍 oh WOW
Great video
Are you guys still going to release the bait caster's or is that project scrapped
To think with some of the Googan videos you've gone cross country for multi-species catch challeges- meanwhile the bridge up the road....lol
I luv the boat. Nice.
Thank you, I can’t wait for shallow water season with the Crispy
Thanks for the video
good stuff 🤔👍
What would you recommend for crappie from the bank
No spot lock on the crispy collector?
I wish i had a bridge like this on my local lake
Best of the best
Hey where can I get a transducer mount from
Betting our mans here is a fan of Molina as well.
Live down the road from here. Maybe one day we can do a collaboration video.
Look like fun
Anyone recognize the pole and rail system for the live scoop?
Where do u get crappie mafia stuff
Where is the “cook” of the catch and cook that’s my favorite part!!
Can you share your settings?
Use loop knots. More action in bait.
This is the toll bridge on lake Lewisville
Why not keep the white bass?
What lake was this ?
I would love to see you fish with a Japanese poop bait.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
❤
Nice ❤❤😂😂😂
Fiddle farting my floozies. Simply amazing LFG!
i sub to you because you know how to pronounce crappie... Teach the others...
This is more like the average fisherman gets it done. Most can't afford 100k bass boats. I fished out of a john boat most of my youth.
Them drum are they the same as saltwater drum???
Electronics take the fun out of fishing
One of the most ignorant comments on the web. Haters gonna hate.
Eufaula?
Lake Lewisville, north of Dallas.
Are drum not good eating?
Good try 13 inc more like 12 inc lmao is that what you say to your lady friend lol 😂
mMmm sloppie crappie
You outta try ice fishing crappie. Just bob n weave
Ah yup livescope. Dude just fish the damn pillars. You get paid to do it anyway
Eat the white bass
I wish LFG would leave or take a buyout from Googan.
Why?
What's the asking price?
Sorry you have to live scope to catch fish .
You must be poor
Just not a fan of live scope . Wouldnt use it if it was free .@devinmikulec301
@@Rick-l3rhaters gonna hate.
This might sound corny But every time I watch you fish it's like watching an artist paint a picture.🤌
LFG is the Bob Ross of fishing
My water is my canvas and the poles are my bristles, lol. This made my day thank you
Lol, got me thinking of a funny skit
