That was delicious. It’s rare that I ever cook without onions and garlic but this was a revelation. So simple and easy. An hour later the taste, especially the Amchur is tingling my mouth. I’ve only recently been able to buy mustard oil in my local supermarket and this recipe was a nice introduction to that too.
Stick a few boiled eggs in there... Balissimo ❤️
Lovely...
Thank you! Cheers!
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes cool 😎 👍

Glad you enjoyed it!
Trying this right now. I halved everything as I have 250g of potatoes. Will let you know how it goes!
Hi Shamza, absolutely love your recipes. Made your keema one last week for meal prep as im on a diet and this week im on cauliflower and potatoes. If possible can you include a rough calorie count for say a 500g portion?
Potatoes are universal not only sense of different races but in far more dishes and a good staple food to boot. Dishes like this can take a humble vegetable to new levels.
I completely agree 😊👍
Another yummy and easy to cook recipe 😋 brilliant 👏
Thanks a lot 😊

I made the chicken pastry on Saturday and it was amazing. but made it into a pie instead. thanks 😊
Sounds great! Had it was enjoyed😊
Ocado will deliver mustard oil. You can get a nice big can.. that's UK only of course. 🙏🕉️❤️
I think you teach indiam cuisine in a very british way and i really enjoy that
Thank you so much 😊👍
All the mustard oil I have seen in supermarkets as well as smaller asian shops, say it is for external use only, not for cooking. Where do I buy mustard oil suitable for cooking?
Thanks for your comment. You can search for a mix mustard oil blend and use that if you wish or any other oil will work too.
@@MyLittleKitchenRecipes or even make some by heating vegetable oil and adding mustard seeds or powder then fry gently and then let steep for a little while.
Ocado carry it. Unfortunately in some places mustard oil is not designated food safe . So it's labeled external.. That leads to a lot of confusion
This turned out very tasty with the tanginess from anchor! Thank you.
Recipe looks yummy, will be making this.. I can't find amchoor powder where I am you suggest any alternative or just bypass it...
You can try the local shops or supermarkets near you or even Amazon. It's a must for this particular recipe and skipping it will not give you the end result.
Another use for mango powder! And you can never have too many potato recipes!
So true!
How do we thicken the sauce like we get at the Asian weddings ?xx
You can use cornflour to thicken it.
used to use mustard oil back in the day but now most mustard oil is 'not for human consumption' ?
Ooooh my siister.
Give me piece.
Don't make me beg.
Gimmie piece
