The helicopter tour starts from Kathmandu airport. It takes 30-40 minutes to reach Lukla airport

How much is total cost for this trip and for how long? 😍

Typically, max of 5, about $2,000 per passenger, 5-hours tour. There are larger heli, cheaper price. I was in Kathmandu for a week, went to a local travel agent because I wouldn't go for more than 3 passengers. I want a window seat. I have to wait 2 days before I got it and pay more. Landing at Kala Patthar is a must.
As a seasoned traveller, I avoid buying tours online. I prefer to know where I would be going and a tour guide that I am comfortable with.
A word of advice, bring along a good videocam instead of handphone and take 4K videos. Ensure your memory card and battery is sufficient to take 3-4 hours video.
Also your tour can be cancel due to bad weather or when there is a rescue mission.
