Glad you are both settling in! ❤ Right now I am working on a 1400's Italian dress. And at long last the Venetian dress bodice that has gone on multiple trips is getting the padding stitched. After that it is stepping up my game with accessories and nice things not just camping clothing!
I would like to get a historical shift done at least. House stuff and mending need to take precedence though. I would also like to finish at least one quilt this year.
At the moment, I'm making a redingote (in fact, two, one with a "teacher" and another on my own). I have to finish a yukata to wear at home and make quite a few alterations. My plans for next year are to make a corset a dress for my sister's wedding and general everyday clothes.
What project would make the biggest impact on your costuming if you finish it this year?
A bit of a step-back and evaluating year planned at the moment. My biggest desire is to make a dent in my ufo pile and stash in general.
Glad you are both settling in! ❤

You've been on such a journey with all of those projects. I'm so excited to see your finished bodice
I'm working on making a Gotlandic style outfit. More of a peplos than an apron dress, and more like some of the Finnish clothing from the 900's.
That sounds fascinating
@@MaridithSmith This is the costumer that has inspired my project. trollusia.blogspot.com/2019/12/a-gdyby-gotlandia-jeszcze-inaczej.html

Definitely prioritize your mending. I was just doing some of that myself. I'm sure your shift will happen this year too. Happy New Year! 🎊
