    I realise this is an older video, but I have to express my relief!
    It is comforting to know that the loss of your Olympian features and your boyish good looks are due to a camera angle mishap, rather than a typical fondness of spare ribs and an overdose of cake...
    Actually that remark lead me to subscribe...

    Hi, I now have Porters book and in the process of making the Sine bar slide rest attachment, plus I have the information for the calculations.

    Great Video, I'm trying to get hold of Porters book, but Amazon suppliers will not ship to Australia....
    But haven't given up.

      Good luck with the book, maybe ebay? Another good book on the subject is "Wheel and pinion cutting in horology" by J Malcolm Wild. A bit different approach with cutters though packed with excellent information.

    the angle of the camera , and the tangent of the cosine of a couple cheese burgers. but i digress thanks fer the videos the cuters look interesting
