What I love about being Zulu is that we love our culture no matter where you are in the world or how poor or rich you are we still practice our culture ❤️
Interesting fact about the Zulu king and the saga about fighting for the throne : Long ago when his father the late king Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu Zulu was king , the nation literally the Zulu nation it’s people wanted an heir to the throne from the king and therefore the nation selected a wife from the royal house of Swaziland Queen Mantfombi for the king .. and the people also went to pay dues for the bride every cow came from any Zulu person willing to give so literally the nation chose the present kings mother to come marry our then king for there to be an heir to the throne , now the late king had already had a wife and kids but they were not of royal blood on the maternal side so there did not qualify for the throne if should there be a royal blooded queen that the king will mate with and indeed it happen that’s one of the reasons there was a debate about the rightful heir some thought it should be the first born child but in ZULU LAND and customs a king is of royal blood and in this case the nation chose and actually prayed in those actions to picking the queen for a new heir to the throne and in Zulu land you cannot elect, nominate , vote on who’s king , The king is born and will always be king … this is a short narrative though it gets deeper🙏🏾
