There is no way that God would not want me to watch this show. The show has helped put a very keen desire to seek the lord out even more, and has inspired me to start reading the bible all the way through. How could the Lord not want that for me?

True. It’s nice to put a face to the person though. Reading the bible is a lot more interesting now that I can kind of see who these people were, and what they went through. Their emotions and struggles. They might not be portrayed exactly like they were in real life, but so far, it seems like how normal people would react in those situations.
My only fear is I’m not reading the right one. I had heard that the Bible had been edited many times and that the New Testament is just liberal propaganda rewriting Gods word. I downloaded the You Version app on my phone but I don’t know which addition it is. I’d personally like to read as close to the original as I can.

The Chosen is a wonderful way to spread the news. Jesus is not a religion but a personal relationship with God. All faiths and religions would agree that Love and kindness unites us all. Jesus said it himself as a Jew. Helping others even during Sabbath for Goodwill is not sinful. Speaking and sharing kindness with other faiths does not cancel your faith to God, it opens your heart and mind. Show respect to each other with a kind heart, you will change your life and that of others. Everyone has free will, so no need to limit yourself to religious rules. This reminds me of someone several years ago coming to me saying God gave her a vision with me and my husband (now ex) in it. She said in the vision we were leading a bible study. I was very new in my walk with God after years of darkness and was so hungry I ate up every word she said. I lived my life based on this vision she told me she got from God. I foolishly believed her. My ex is a severe alcoholic. He is an abusive narcissist and has a strong drug addiction. Instead of leaving him to protect my babies I hung on this girls words and hung on to my marriage. God opened a door for us to flee from him a year ago. So many things are coming out now of how deep the damage is that he did to our children. They are both struggling badly. And right now I am extremely angry at myself for not leaving sooner, for believing the words of this girl. The age of prophecy is behind us. We are to seek God for everything in this life. Holy Spirit will guide us and show us everything we need to know. We don't need to listen to "words from God" from other people. He is God. He will tell us himself when we seek Him. I truly believe the enemy hates the chosen for what it is doing for everyone and wants us to fight about it and be divided. The enemy is thrilled when we bicker about things that have nothing to do with salvation. This is one of them. I love the chosen.

If you're not familiar, he is depicted as a man, he is called The profit, and even rabbi. He struggles with the temptations of humanity. And he even shows mercy upon demons. A lady was possessed by a bunch of demons and the demons cried to Jesus and said please don't send us back to that void or the darkest lower layers of hell. And what Jesus did was he casted the demons out of the person and place them into pigs, aka swine.

The Chosen showed me a portrayal of Jesus I had not considered, which brought me to the Bible, which led to me being saved three months ago, and redeemed in the name of Jesus Christ. This show saved my life and my soul. Your dreams can be influenced by demons. Your opinion is not needed.
“This came from the Lord” is a great way to dismiss other people’s opinions. My brain was made by the Lord and I have the ability to discern from myself about the show. I am yet to see anything blasphemous or heretical in it. Is it perfect? No. Is it the best dramatization of biblical events ever made? Yes, by far. I recommended to everyone.
The excitement and joy I experience when watching The Chosen is unfathomable. I think about Jesus and I want to know Him better. This show impresses the need for the Holy Spirit. in Star Trek, whenever scenes were filmed in the "engeneering department and its corridors" the producers thought that flat walls were unconvincing. They got the set designers to come up with a way to make it look more realistic, and they decided on various sized pipes running down the length of the walls. Not satisfied, they said it needed some kind of written information to which the set designers came up with a code. GNDN was painted on the walls and the producers loved it! One asked "What does it mean?" to which they were informed it means "goes nowhere, does nothing." deja Vu.

This morning I had a dream about this show, my hubby have been saying for a long time that I should watch it. I never felt like I wanted to because I believed the Hollywood jews were behind it. But then...an inner voice said to me "Watch it" And I felt that the show could bring me knowledge and inspiration because I've never felt like reading the bible at all. It just felt right so i had to watch it. I saw the first episode only an hour ago and I don't regret it, it was so special and made me just want to read the bible right now! The chosen series never claimed to be a Christian show. They try to keep it accurate as they can. They have consultation board made up of a rabbi, catholic priest and a Protestant pastor to keep things in line
As a Christian, I get a little concerned when people start making decisions based on dreams they had. Can some visions happen in the form of dreams? Yeah. But most dreams are simply dreams.

Honestly I’m personally glad that we’re getting a good Biblical adaptation that both adapts the iconic stories and also explores interesting themes and ideas and even exploring characters that don’t have much screen time in other adaptations. In a time where I thought the age of Biblical Epics was ending I’m glad to see there are still talented artists and story tellers who know how to bring the religious text to life and I hope it inspires others to do so. Never take Biblical advice from someone you don’t know. Always turn to the Bible when you’re unsure of a biblical artwork. Make sure you ask other Christians who you know are experienced in the Bible too. If anything go to a local church. People are very open to accepting you to their community. Growing in faith is a discipline and it doesn’t happen overnight.
The Chosen is not the Bible and should never be considered as a replacement for it in any capacity. It has drawn in some people and got them to pick up the Bible so it can at least be used that way. Ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit that will convict people and they will be transformed by the renewal of their mind with faith in the Lord. Yes perhaps there could of been some other tool used to inspire me, but the same would still apply anyway. It's like saying your relationship with God is built on a friend, if your friend were the one who reached out to you and told you about Jesus in the first place. True. It’s nice to put a face to the person though. Reading the bible is a lot more interesting now that I can kind of see who these people were, and what they went through. Their emotions and struggles. They might not be portrayed exactly like they were in real life, but so far, it seems like how normal people would react in those situations.
My only fear is I’m not reading the right one. I had heard that the Bible had been edited many times and that the New Testament is just liberal propaganda rewriting Gods word.

Jesus said it himself as a Jew. Helping others even during Sabbath for Goodwill is not sinful. The makers of the show always say that you should read the Gospels. They never said BELIEVE The Chosen. They always pushed us towards reading the Gospels.
This reminds me of someone several years ago coming to me saying God gave her a vision with me and my husband (now ex) in it. She said in the vision we were leading a bible study. I was very new in my walk with God after years of darkness and was so hungry I ate up every word she said. I lived my life based on this vision she told me she got from God. I foolishly believed her.
My ex is a severe alcoholic. He is an abusive narcissist and has a strong drug addiction. Instead of leaving him to protect my babies I hung on this girls words and hung on to my marriage. God opened a door for us to flee from him a year ago. So many things are coming out now of how deep the damage is that he did to our children. They are both struggling badly. And right now I am extremely angry at myself for not leaving sooner, for believing the words of this girl. The age of prophecy is behind us. We are to seek God for everything in this life. Holy Spirit will guide us and show us everything we need to know. We don't need to listen to "words from God" from other people. He is God. He will tell us himself when we seek Him.
I truly believe the enemy hates the chosen for what it is doing for everyone and wants us to fight about it and be divided. The enemy is thrilled when we bicker about things that have nothing to do with salvation. This is one of them. I love the chosen.
We need dscernment yes, but there is no such thing as 'age of prophecies'. The spirit still moves as you said. We are supposed to do works greater(as in number) than Jesus in his short ministry. Healing, tongues you name it, its not a past thing.

Divergent tactic trying to push people away from what I believe to be one of the truest and most accurate depictions of Christ in our modern time right now with movies.
They don't want you to see Jesus in the way he operated acted and spoke. There is a lot of great stuff in the chosen I've not found one thing that I disagree with in that show so far.
If you're not familiar, he is depicted as a man, he is called The profit, and even rabbi.
He struggles with the temptations of humanity. And he even shows mercy upon demons.

“This came from the Lord” is a great way to dismiss other people’s opinions. My brain was made by the Lord and I have the ability to discern from myself about the show. I am yet to see anything blasphemous or heretical in it. Is it perfect? No. Is it the best dramatization of biblical events ever made? Yes, by far. I recommended to everyone.
The excitement and joy I experience when watching The Chosen is unfathomable. I think about Jesus and I want to know Him better. This show impresses the need for the Holy Spirit. A house divided against itself can't stand. He gave us a spirit of power and sound mind. Anything that makes you fall in love with Christ and the Holy Word, I'm here for it.
in Star Trek, whenever scenes were filmed in the "engeneering department and its corridors" the producers thought that flat walls were unconvincing. They got the set designers to come up with a way to make it look more realistic, and they decided on various sized pipes running down the length of the walls. Not satisfied, they said it needed some kind of written information to which the set designers came up with a code. GNDN was painted on the walls and the producers loved it! One asked "What does it mean?" to which they were informed it means "goes nowhere, does nothing."

Putting yourself in front of a camera and then not wanting to be held accountable for the things you say, but claiming that this is what the Lord says, sounds kind of dangerous to me (in a biblical sense).
Please be careful what you say... blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin. And dreams are easily influenced.

This morning I had a dream about this show, my hubby have been saying for a long time that I should watch it. I never felt like I wanted to because I believed the Hollywood jews were behind it. But then...an inner voice said to me "Watch it" And I felt that the show could bring me knowledge and inspiration because I've never felt like reading the bible at all. It just felt right so i had to watch it. I saw the first episode only an hour ago and I don't regret it, it was so special and made me just want to read the bible right now! What you have been dreaming of must've been from the evil one, he wanted you to spread this so that people won't have an interest in finding Christ because as you know many of the watchers have turned to our Lord and Saviour. So what you are saying here is bad and the vid that the evil one wanted you to make, this "warning" should be deleted ASAP.

The chosen series never claimed to be a Christian show. They try to keep it accurate as they can. They have consultation board made up of a rabbi, catholic priest and a Protestant pastor to keep things in line
As a Christian, I get a little concerned when people start making decisions based on dreams they had. Can some visions happen in the form of dreams? Yeah. But most dreams are simply dreams.
This is how God communicates to ME. This a gift given to me from him. That may not be your gift and that’s cool. I strongly suggest you pray for discernment and carefully examine me and what God showed me by asking the Lord if this is him or not. That’s your assignment!

Honestly a lot of people say this show brought them closer to God or encouraged them to read the scripture and bless them all in their spiritual journey. Honestly I’m personally glad that we’re getting a good Biblical adaptation that both adapts the iconic stories and also explores interesting themes and ideas and even exploring characters that don’t have much screen time in other adaptations. In a time where I thought the age of Biblical Epics was ending I’m glad to see there are still talented artists and story tellers who know how to bring the religious text to life and I hope it inspires others to do so. Cause whatever your thoughts on the faith, these are still great stories that deserve to be told and told well

Never take Biblical advice from someone you don’t know. Always turn to the Bible when you’re unsure of a biblical artwork. Make sure you ask other Christians who you know are experienced in the Bible too. If anything go to a local church. People are very open to accepting you to their community. Growing in faith is a discipline and it doesn’t happen overnight.

The Chosen is not the Bible and should never be considered as a replacement for it in any capacity. It has drawn in some people and got them to pick up the Bible so it can at least be used that way. Ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit that will convict people and they will be transformed by the renewal of their mind with faith in the Lord. However, we have to be really careful putting words in God’s mouth whether we dream or not
