  • HellBent Fabrications Ep1 - In this first episode from HellBent, I finally get to bring you a bunch of Holdens. Kane's customisation business has been up and running for three years now and though he works on all brands, he's definitely got a name for himself amongst the Red half of the Aussie car fraternity.
In this episode we feature a HK Premier getting readied for the dragstrip, a HZ Kingswood and an original BT1 Interceptor VL Commodore. Make sure you subscribe and hit the notification bell for more to come.
Twice weekly visits to classic auto workshops featuring cars from the veteran to RADwood eras & including car restoration, rebuilds, repairs and restomods to anything from Aussie V8s, American muscle cars, Euro exotics, JDM, your coveted everyday runabout and more. If it's built before 1999, there's every chance I'll film it.
My name is Dave and I simply l love old cars and visiting workshops to chat to the people working on them. Added to that, I devour car content on youtube so I thought I'd join in and make some myself.
Hopefully you might like to come along for the journey as well.

You Dave remind me of my English friend loitering around Australia and explaining things in "English" terminology. It's very interesting the shop tours you do and are hopefully helping others with knowledge for their builds. I can't wait until we see an old Dagenham Dustbin being rescued somewhere in the background. Cheers for the content mate.

Haha, funny you should mention the DD. Head over to the DCGT Insta account and have a scroll through the reels. I covered the disappearance of one in Brunswick a couple of weeks back.
I’d never actually heard the term before. And my Dad had one!
My first car was a Mk2 1600E. Lasted all of a month before I ploughed into the back of a Transit.

This bloke is a True Aussie Legend... I know this is controversial due to the Holden & Ford rivalry in Oz, but for me, nothing beats a fully modified Torana, original Kingswood Ute and or the Maloo Ute, but even the die hard Ford fans - (every bloke with a pair), - has got to love a Monaro HSV.

      You know I’m English right?
      Just kidding.
Check out @hezath on Insta. He’s got a terrific build thread on his Torana on some forum somewhere

@@davesclassicgaragetours I see the Aussie sense of humour is not lost on ya. I too am a POM now back in Blighty but loved the dozen years I spent down under, I found that all you have to do is open the bonnet of an old car and you'll have at least 4 people around you 'like Seagulls on chips'. There's a lot of motor sport innovation in AUS & NZ and mechanically minded individuals. Do keep up the good work and have a cold one for me.

There was always something about the HK that I didn't really like, particularly the Premier. I never liked the strip speedo either. I much prefer the HT in every way. And it's lowered rear door profile gave it better proportions.

The attraction with Cop Cars is, that that would be their first chance to ride in the front seat of one 😅
