"Not up to the level of its European peers..." In what way!?!?? That interior is damn nice! BMW hasn't changed their interior in thirty years! And that VW Audi interior? Pass. Or you like the disco lights and slab dashboard in the Mercedes? All those European brand interiors are clearly designed to be easily reversible for right hand drive for the British markets - and it shows! In this price range styling is paramount. The Cadillac interior has style. You don't want something that looks like everything else (like Audi and BMW), you want art; you want expression. That's what Cadillac gives you.

@@32poppasavage28 Well, they used to be a whole lot nicer than they are now. In fact, I got sucked into buying one (a brand new A6) in the late 90s. It was the biggest pile of junk I've ever owned. I think Audi still enjoys a reputation based on those interiors (or environments as they used to call them). Reputations, good and bad, in the car business are glacially slow to change - which is actually Cadillac's biggest problem. The new Audi interiors aren't that great. It's American cars for me - great style, great performance all at a great price.
mannie's Art And Fitness Channel it is excellent on gas and drives great too. Trust you will love it! The secret in the gases consumption is coasting. It rolls very far on its own.
I have a white 2016 with the 2.0T. I think Cadillac absolutely killed it with the exterior. The interior controls are a bit too gadgety tho. They tried to over-tech some of the controls and it made them cumbersome to use.
I thought these were one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen back when they debuted in 2013 & still are today! I would never buy one though as they will never last nearly as long as a Lexus (I currently own a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport). My parents had a 2004 DeVille which they inherited from my deceased grandfather back in 2009 & was an extremely comfortable car, but had nonstop problems for the seven years they owned it & eventually replaced it with a new 2017 Toyota Camry, now with 80k miles & no problems so far as expected. I still prefer the stying of these both inside & out over the current CT5. My boss bought a lightly used blue on white 2019 CTS 2.0t a couple years ago.
Still a very nice design. One thing to note is that GM's 3.6 liter engine always seemed to be a smooth runner, but this one sounded rougher than I recall them being.
ARich that's because they try to put a sport your exhaust on them and try to make them more sporty than smooth, remember this is the lgx V6 which makes 335 horsepower. I my self own a second generation CTS coupe with the 3.6 Sport and it's supposed to be more sporty than luxury.
Justin Bouche Well that explains something then. I also recall the 3.6 was noted as sounding rather rough in the old Equinox Sport/Pontiac Torrent GXP. Again, likely due to being tuned to be "sportier". Multiple versions of the engine do exist out there.
That Cadillac is awesome, would be nice to have them here in EU . But considering fuel prizes here are very high that probably will not happen. Maybe to put some diesel engine in it just for pathetic car markets like East EU, yeah that would be nice. So many Mercedes, Audi and BMW here, Cadillac would be so refreshing.
Very good video! Like it! Question to anyone here; is there a way to add factory parking sensors to my cts; to front bumper only cuz back i have; silly car; at least that to put as standard…

I hate it. Will be so glad to get back to my non CUE 2014 Escalade in Alaska. I will probably rent the Lincoln luxury from Alamo next time.

I will never buy a Cadillac made after 95. They are nothing near what they used to be. This car can hardly be called a Cadillac especially with a v6. Anyone in the right mind would just buy a benz
That's quite a negative statement, unless you're from anywhere outside of the US. My moto is if you live in America, drive American. I consider all others disloyal to their country. If you live, work, born and play here, you should be driving what comes from here. If you want to drive a Benz, go live in Germany.
