- At 12:00:11 the City of Oklahoma City conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, the test consisted of about a 3 minute Alert.
Brodie was going up to the OKC area for the day and since it was Saturday of course a siren test was in the schedule. I decided to tag along like usual, and so did Gabriel. We’re not entirely sure if this actually failed or if they didn’t activate it today. I just didn’t know what to title the video otherwise. There was the “Ladies in Leather” event and it started at noon. Hundreds of women from across the country rode on their motorcycles through Bricktown. So we’re thinking more than likely they didn’t activate this siren since it’s where the event was taking place. We didn’t know that was going on until we got there so we didn’t have a backup plan. Although the event was pretty cool to watch

Nice view of the background of Oklahoma City
Have all the 435s had their controllers upgraded? Seem to only be hearing 560s in the ambience. Could just be cause of the location though. Great video!
@@DownToYouSirens Yeah. In early 2023 they went through and changed all the logic boards in the controls so now they’re all 560hz. They still have the old cabinets
Is it broken?
@@krystalbonsall9416 No. They had an event downtown so they probably didn’t activate this one since a lot of people from out of state were in the area. Or it just failed today. It generally works fine though
