So I met up with my good friend Sirens and Railroads of Oklahoma at this 435hz Vortex in SE Oklahoma City. It went off at 12:00 on the dot.
Being familiar around OKC, I was pretty surprised about how the siren activated only three seconds after the clock striked noon.
This siren is located beside the road that divides Cleveland County from Oklahoma County. Our cameras were set up in Cleveland County, while the siren was in Oklahoma County. So I can say that I walked (ran) across a county line before. 👍🏻 Also, this was my first Vortex, and it was very punchy!
At 12:00:03 PM, the city of Oklahoma City conducted a weekly test of their outdoor warning sirens on Saturday, October 17, 2020. The test consisted of a 3 minute Alert and was pretty loud!
