There is somehow a loophole in RUclips ads where advertisers can upload hours of seminar as an ad. I personally encountered 3 times. The Longest one I encountered is a 260min ‘ad’ which turned out to be a recorded livestream from a guy trying to sell jewellery. I have also seen ads that are actually 5min music videos. I don’t know whether these will become a trend. I gave up on just letting the ads run their whole course.
Love your videos. I'm thinking about applying for a flight attendant job, and this duty free thing totally bought me. I work in sales now, so it would be really convenient for me. Keep posting, thank you for your videos and detailed information you share w us.
It sounds too good to be true, but you don't have to forget that there will be a life after being a flight attendant with Emirates. What about your return to your home country? What about an ordinary life, not staying at 5-star ressorts for free anymore? You have to put money aside for your future life, so even if you don't pay taxes on your EK-salary, keep in mind that the cost of living is pretty high in Dubai. And you also have to put money aside for your retirement. Not that much left anymore? Travel benefits are definitely great, but keep in mind that when flying with a so-called staff ID-ticket (Industry Discount) you are on stand-by! If the flight is full, you won't go on that flight! And this can happen just up to 15 minutes before departure! At some popular destinations I have seen airline staff being 'stranded' for days! And if travelling with other airlines you will be the very last on their priority list! Global discounts? They are definitely becoming less and less, especially hotel discounts for private travel are not that big anymore. You can get better rates if you compare prices on different websites. Benefits CAN be great. But they don't neccessarily have to be! From my point of view, the best benefits are health-, unemployment-, and a retirement insurance. I don't know much about this with Emirates, but I can imagine that other big airlines, especially the big European carriers, are much better in this. I was a flight attendant with Lufthansa German Airlines from 1982 - 2015 and I am currently enjoying my company's early retirement scheme. That means my very last flight took place before my 55th birthday. After that I will still get money from Lufthansa for the next 8 years, approx. 70 % from my last monthly basic salary, including full travel benefits for the rest of my life (as well as a valid Lufthansa Staff ID-tag, but with an imprinted 'R' on it, means Retiree). After that, the German State Retirement Insurance will pay approx. 40 % from my last basic salary plus another approx. 20 % on a monthly basis from Lufthansa. Health insurance is legally mandatory in Germany and will be paid for by the state and the retiree on a 50/50 basis. But I will still have to pay tax on my retirement payments. (If you are not married, that can be quite a lot!) How really good benefits are and how really good a company take care of their employees and how really good a country is, you will see in times of a global crisis. I hope that we all soon will be able to freely travel around the globe again! Take care, stay safe! P.S. Lufthansa is not state-owned, but received state aid because of the pandemic, like many other airlines.
An awesome video. What a great attitude and charisma you have. I worked as cabin crew for American Airlines for 8 years. By doing a good job, we were frequently awarded tickets where our family members could fly free in Business or First Class with stand-by priority. Was able to fly my family to numerous destinations around the world, at absolutely no charge. When traveling, I was also able to secure great hotel rooms at huge discounts. You seem so wholesome and kind hearted. Can’t wait for your next video. Cheers!

It's better for you to have it so they are certain of you. It raises your chances. But you can always tell them it's being produced, in a week you'll be able to pick it up and send them a scanned version of it
@@WishCasting Thank you for your feedback! I'm living in Crimea now and I'm afraid that the Crimea travel passport will cause some problems in the future. fantastic - you learn how to open the door to a bathroom. and you can eat what passengers didn't want to eat. man, why didn't i become a flight attendant with perks like this 🤣🤣🤣
It depends! You can make a whole lot if you're quick at selling, attending all passengers who want to buy and the other duty free operator is willing to give you his items so you can sell them. Maybe he's lazier and doesn't mind giving you his items
We currently don't know when they'll start hiring again... :/ They said in January but now, we believe they might start hiring further down the line again.
I wouldn't say knowing how to unlock the door to the toilet is a top ten benefit (unless you've encountered food poisoning during your layover in which case you're first in line after takeoff). :)
:D You have a point! But it was connected to the fact that you get access to areas of the aircraft where others don't. Toilet was just an extra thing you'd happen to learn along the way
Happened to me and to sooo many others, to skip desserts, tea coffee, we care parts for sales. Doesn't happen all the time but, if you're a df operator on the selected flights we mentioned, it does happen and the purser writes it down on the kis tablet. DF goes after the service only in normal situations, if csvs and purser gets stopped by many passengers for df items, you are summoned to go ahead of time. Strange that you don't know this.

I am sorry, i have to disagree with the point of less work when you are a duty free operator... You still have to do your crew duty besides suty free... Finish your crew duty first then continue with duty free... Hallo from fellow ex-ek... Cheers...
I believe that being a DF operator is harder work than other positions most of the time. But if you're cool about it and sell a lot, you'd end up making more money and working less (sometimes deserts, tea coffee, clearance and wecare wasn't done by DF on my flights). Very common on high DF sales destinations. Hi Dave! Where are you from! Very nice to hear from a former colleague!
one time on a long haul flight (as a 12 year old passenger) I used the door lock trick and had my own personal bathroom for the whole 15 hours and didn't have to wait in line.
Crikey, you guys definitely need flight crew unions. What a cut throat job and awful working conditions. The companies must treat employees better than this. 🤞
Actually no. It's much more complicated to get into the cockpit. And it's confidential. I didn't disclose any of that information. Wouldn't be wise to do so also.
My dream job cahin crew in emirates ....am in dubai but someonetold me that i can't get hired becausei have a small birth mark near my mouth on my left chick .... is it true thst i cant get hired?
Really? Encouraging people to become cabin crew as a pathway to being a pilot? Both of these are very tough jobs, but getting an Airline Transport Pilots Licence is not something that can be done in the half-asleep, dazed state of permanent fatigue that a flight attendant is subjected to. It requires months, if not years or study, tens of thousands of dollars, if not $100,000+, years of flying experience doing the crappy jobs, discipline, a high level of intelligence and problem solving skills. I had a friend who seemed to think that getting a job as a check-in ground crew would fast track his career as a wannabe pilot. Lol! One is a customer service job, the other is completely different! It took him a while to understand that! Also, accessing the cockpit as a perk of being a flight attendant? This is surely your workplace and not a childrens' attraction?! Remember that pilots must have a sterile cockpit at certain phases of flight, so you can't just go in there and play or take photos whenever you like ;P As for being able to open toilets? Wtf?! How is this a perk?! And just remember, showing how this is done in your video discloses certain security related "secrets" on an aircraft that you really should think twice about doing. Being a flight attendant is a tough job, but it is also a job with great responsibility, and I hope most of your colleagues, or aspiring colleagues, have the correct, mature and responsible attitude.
What video did you watch? Seems like you watched something else. Ps: I know around 30 cabin crew friends that are now pilots in Emirates, Qatar airways, Ryanair, fly Dubai, Saudia airlines, etc. They all started as a cabin crew and moved on to pilot careers. I personally went to pilot school thanks to recommendations by pilots in Emirates in the flight deck. Sterile cockpit is necessary only during takeoff and landing procedures. You're facts are so wrong. I've been in the cockpit calculating fuel consumption, navigation and more with an A380 first officer friend of mine. They can talk and multi-task. You clearly watched another video and ended up commenting here.
Oh and by the way, a pilot licence can cost up to 55k USD or less if you look around a bit. Super legit schools too, just not fancy to give you a job once you get your atpl.
@@WishCasting Indeed, for a CPL. Then comes the hard slog after that, plus the further study and testing for ATPL. Massive respect to those who get their on their own merits, and good luck to you also if that's what you're aiming for! What did you do when you went to the pilot school, by the way? My comments relate to this video as you would well know, because they relate to comments made and topics directly covered in this video. Nobody other than flight deck crew has any place being on the flight deck when calculations are being performed. This is a potential safety issue. Fuel load calculation mistakes almost led to a more serious Emirates accident than what happened to EK407 on 20 March 2009. If you see yourself as having a right to be there, rather than being a potential distraction, then I do hope you one day study Human Factors.
@robor88 excuse me? What are you talking about? You're just jealous that you may not have this cabin crew life. Plus, this is the benefits, the perks of being a flight attendant. You should be thankful. I guess you haven't watched the video yet. There's something wrong with you. 😂

I like onboard food.
We too! Paneer on indian flights!!! So good!
WishCasting I always order veg food since I am allergic to milk. Special food are given away first -)))) and veg ones are always delicious -)
one time on a long haul flight (as a 12 year old passenger) I used the door lock trick and had my own personal bathroom for the whole 15 hours and didn't have to wait in line.
Can we have "PETS" in our ""accommodation ""
Not allowed if it's an Emirates provided accommodation
Crikey, you guys definitely need flight crew unions. What a cut throat job and awful working conditions. The companies must treat employees better than this. 🤞
i really wanted to be a emerates flight attendent but i can't
Emirates Airlines 😬
I want to join EMIRATES .... but this covid.... has ruined my life
I wonder how many Emirates flight attendants became actual Emirates pilots?

Hi
Which mean you told the world that if you kill enough people the hostess as she knows the way to bypass the code for the cokpit will have to tell you!
Actually no. It's much more complicated to get into the cockpit. And it's confidential. I didn't disclose any of that information. Wouldn't be wise to do so also.
@Jeje Wa Please understand the video.
Wishcasting said nothing wrong. Think carefully before you comment anything that doesn't make sense
I’d love to be your friend 💕
Cabin Crew is plural not a cabin crew. It bugs me sorry 😞
Sadly, those perks are all gone now 😕.
Not all ;)
My dream job cahin crew in emirates ....am in dubai but someonetold me that i can't get hired becausei have a small birth mark near my mouth on my left chick .... is it true thst i cant get hired?
You just showed everyone how to open a lavatory door!!! 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Do Emirates hire bald male person??
Anyone tell me the retirement age of cabin crew
You can retire whenever you want, there is no retirement scheme in Emirates. You have to pay it yourself out of your own pocket
Remember that pilots must have a sterile cockpit at certain phases of flight, so you can't just go in there and play or take photos whenever you like ;P
As for being able to open toilets?
