I feel this way as a Over the Road semi truck driver. Im alone in that truck 24/7. The loneliness is insane. FAs and Truck drivers are the most loniest people
Thanks so much for bringing this topic to light. I've lost three friends this year to su*ci;e 😢 because they felt so alone, misunderstood, etc. Don't ever stop sharing your heart because you are saving lives.
So glad you spoke on this. As a flight attendant ive truly experienced the same exact struggles. I had to take a leave of absence and get therapy for a year to deal with this. So now im back. But please get help. The aviation industry is fun but its hard mentallu, phsyically. Emotionally, and please dont get involved in the gossip and drama cause that would make it harder. Going thru break ups and not able to be there to connect with that person. Going thru family drama. Death. Anything.. its hard. Even sorrounded by people you feel alone. Ive cried many nights in my hotel room just from feeling lonely.
With over seventeen thousand other "concerned-for-you subscribers", we obviously hope you get better soon. There are a couple of conditions that would possibly force a career change; but obviously hope those aren't "it". Sincere wishes to you (a new apartment & the whole works...smh.... good luck!).
I feel u hun Anxiety and depression it's hard this disease you must have Someone keep you in Communication Feeling depressed it's not easy keep the Same routine Keep asking for help
You are a beautiful SOUL! Thank you for your raw honesty! My son is in the process of interviewing to become a flight attendant! Thank you for shining the light on these topics! As a mama, its always my concern for my son! I appreciate you!
I started with regional in 2018 on crj 200’s (1 fa ). It was sooooo lonely . I would get to layovers and just cry the whole night . I had to quit and take time to myself for my mental health ! I later on decided to try again and came to mainline and I love it !! Seek therapy everyone . I almost didn’t make it back from a layover and that scared me ❤️
Headed for my F2F soon, and this is the biggest concern I have. Thank you for speaking on these points. You are so genuine in your videos, and I wish I knew you in person. I hope I can join the crazy roller-coaster career with y'all in the air. And maybe meet you one day on the fly 😊
In my view, it's hard to admit when we struggle with mental health issues. We sometimes see it as a sign of weakness and an inability to overcome challenges. However, admitting that we sometimes struggle with mental health issues is a sign of strength and self-awareness. There are many types of therapy and choosing one that fits our personal challenges will demonstrate our willingness to work through these troubling times. Being an advocate for mental health issues is also a sign of strength. Keep up the good fight. It Gets Better !
Charlie… you are such a beautiful person! Thank you for sharing your experiences and input. I’ve been following you to learn more about the job. I have my F2F soon and am so excited for this career! Thank you again and keep on being amazing!

I'm 37, and I play Cities: Skylines on my computer. Do whatever it takes to allow you to "decompress." I'm so glad that you shared about the flight attendant who died. You're right - there's nothing in this world that's worth taking one's life.
Just an absolutely wonderful experience ..... just seeing & experiencing .... and sharing in these moments. Tremendous, wonderful ... simply not enough kudos and praises to give. Bless you and the empathetic and caring person you are. Outstanding.

Thank you for this Charli, this definitely needs to be discussed more. I appreciate this, as an aspiring future flight attendant; mental health, the challenges is not discussed enough. Thank you for being you and opening up and bringing awareness to others.
Charli, you are a precious soul. Shoutout from Alabama! I’m in the interview process with Delta and it’s good to know all sides of this profession. Thank you for being vulnerable and real. I’ve added you to my prayer list. 💜❤️ Lucy H.
I'm not a flight attendant, but I have had many days where I felt like I didn't matter or that life is just way too hard to deal. Charli, you truly are saving lives including mine 💖. Let God continue to use you and He definitely is going to continue to bless you. God being for you is more than the world against you. He is on your side. Peace and blessings to you! And always remember, "Because HE lives, we CAN and will face tomorrow 🙏". (Virtual hugs) @charliedwards

Them early morning, sleep deprived shuttle van mood swings are REAL. You ain't never lie 😭 especially on the last day of a 3 day trip.

If you have mental health issues you shouldn't be a flight attendant
Who are you to tell her that?
She’s talking about the anxiety and loneliness we all face, not schizophrenia or anything like that.
@@lauraberkholtz7959Thank you
