I hated the new elite angle for every reason stated but it also really hurt the death riders storyline. I also did not think Tony khan in a neckbrace at the nfl draft helped and think it hurt the company. Made the Jags and AEW seem silly
Honorable mention for Braden's DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 shirt. Totally agree with the take on MJF and Cole just being a total letdown with the force retcon. It stunk up Dynamite quite a bit.
For me my favorite was Toni Storm vs Mariah May. Just loved everything about it, and it made a new star in Mariah May. Punk vs Drew is an honorable mention. Worst was Adam Cole vs MJF. One of the messiest feuds in recent memory, and based on how their match ended at World’s End ended, it looks like it’s far from over (and based on some crowd reactions we could see ANOTHER double turn). Love both guys but please just end this already. Honorable mention goes to Jericho vs Hook.
Liv vs Rhea had potential to be the best but Triple H refuses to let Rhea look human or acknowledge that she betrayed Liv when they were a team then injured her and isn't innocent.
Just looking at the 17:21 minute mark The Bucks and Jack Perry lose their belts this year but Okada don't, like WTF!? Just to promote a feud with Kenny Omega that didn't really need a belt they ruined the logical downfall of The Elite that would be losing all their belts... Now I get it why some people tells Tony Khan has short span retention 😅
Best Feud for me is Toni Storm vs Mariah May. I loved it throughout and was heavily invested in Toni Storm throughout the year. I think Punk vs McIntyre was good but it felt very drawn out and I didn't even like the first two matches they had. It also just felt like a pre-lude to the Rollins feud. I never thought McIntyre was ever gonna come out on top in that feud. Worst is easily MJF vs Adam Cole. It was just boring, it makes no sense, the matches weren't that good, they teased Cole coming back like 5 times and then he would just disappear again for 3 months and Cole genuinely has go away heat for me at this point. Elite vs AEW, Liv vs Rhea, and Mercedes vs Britt are really really strong contenders for worst for me as well.
Punk got to get himself over to a new audience as a personality first because he couldn't wrestle. If he were cleared he could've just ended up feeling like another guy in the mix, but because he couldn't wrestle he could have one feud for like 10 months without anyone asking why they haven't just done the match already. He got to be the part timer who's only around every few weeks or months to keep him special with the plausible deniability that he'd totally be here every week if he was healthy. It really did work out so much better
Best feud of the year is again Swerve vs Hangman, worst feud is a tie between Chris Jericho vs HOOK and CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre which was terrible except for that one HiaC match that doesn't make up for an agonizingly long feud where nothing ever happened. Honorable mention to Ripley vs Morgan and everything round Dominik Mysterio, yikes my poor brain cells

"Undisputed Error" was good 😂

Timeless Toni Storm is my female wrestler of the year!

Best Punk/Drew
Worst Rhea/Liv
my second's would be Mariah/Toni ( it could end up bad im considering all in the end for now ) and MJF/Cole

Is it Adam Cole 0-2 against MJF??
Coz if the answer is yes then surely they gonna continue the feud 😅

It's an interesting point. Injury may have forced him to enter a Roman/Brock/Rock schedule. -W

from all your comments you are a more AEW fan, so your view is pretty much disposable and of no merit.
