      I really like this format as well. I like the board and your delivery look better than ever. Very relaxed but confident. The blackboard is great for listing differences between items. It keeps the distinctions in front of you to compare. As for topics for the blackboard: GA vs GA4, Ezoic vs Mediavine, starting a blog vs RUclips channel, etc. One more thing, I don't love the up-lighting. I would add fill light opposite the main light to get rid of the contrast. Great video as always.

    On a case study I am doing on a niche topic- out of 90 response posts, 78 of them show up for rich snippets. The ones that are not ranking are much higher competitive titles and the heavyweights in the niche are getting those. But this a relatively new site and it is getting 1,000 monthly visitors.

And after a certain period of time traffic must come because if google starts observing user behaviour at our site, as users are spending time to read the information and it will help us create a good signal to Google. I really like this blackboard teaching style! Something that could perhaps work for this type of video is how to do a site map? I've become really interested in topic clusters and interlinking and have even created a site map on a cork board where each piece of paper represents an article and a piece of string represents the interlinking (such a geek, I know!). And so I think a blackboard video could illustrate this well.

    P24 member here! For competitive niches why should I write response posts if I already committed to writing quality staple posts? Even if other established sites have a balance of both, doesn't the redundancy just cause competition between a response and staple. I am happy with writing quality staple posts and like creating long articles. I answer the main query within the post firsthand before branching out and answering related questions. It is necessary to have a balance if I am okay with commiting the time to longer staple posts, or does Google need smaller resources to rank that are intended for just one query?

    • @IncomeSchool
      @IncomeSchool  2 года назад +1

      There are definitely niche where staple posts are needed for almost every topic in order to rank. Even in this case, you’ll want to pick some very low competition topics that you will be very likely to rank for. That helps establish at least a minimum level of authority on your niche.
      That’s why we teach to write some response posts first. You’re more likely to win when you write a dedicated article for a fairly low competition search term.
      In your case, I’d do what would create the best resources for your potential audience. If that means meatier staple posts from the beginning, go for it.
      If down the road they’re not quite getting the traffic that they merit, try throwing in some dedicated response posts and see if that helps.

      This happens to me a lot. I gave up on response posts because they seemed redundant. I answer the main queries in my staple posts and add three to five related search queries to strengthen the resource and add depth. Idk if I should make a response post to go along with it, but I am leaning toward no. For me, it's because my niche is competitive and other websites that have 1000 plus articles might have many articles targeting similar topics, but if I can create a quality site with fewer articles than I will have the time to strengthen the posts individually over time as I edit them.
