Hey everyone I had this issue on my phone. This video is pointless, may help but not for me. Once you upload on FB, do not post it but edit the photos on the FB ap that it provides, just slightly move the brightness and do the same for the other photos. Share and post and my photos came out clear!
The photo that I post aren't blurry, it's every other photo that is posted by others (and games) and all of the font is too small. Using CTRL - or + only makes the font big and the picture bigger, nothing clears up.
I have the same issue on all photo dimensions. Did Facebook change their algorythm? It is very frustrating I am trying to use a profile pic for my business and it is super blurry
I have reduced a face photo of myself in size as it's too large but when I try to upload it onto Facebook it is still too large. What can I do to make sure the smaller photo gets shown as a smaller photo on my Facebook profile?
completely useless information. This resolves nothing in terms of making Banner Pictures from looking blurry. This is something you cannot avoid, Facebook compresses your picture to hell: tested all the way from 815x315 300dpi to 5106x1890 1800dpi (30MB). Nothing changes, Facebook just compresses anything down to hell
Facebook just plain sucks now with video uploads there is NO HD option anymore upload a video in HD and in a month they will compress it causing it to pixelate and be blurry AAAAARRRRGG!!!
this video didn’t help at all! I didn’t turn off anything on Facebook!!! next time if you make videos for guiding, make sure your videos are helpful before you post them up to guide others

There is no option on Facebook that says Media settings or anything with HD, where are you finding this on Facebook?

I agree because I can't find that option in Settings either. All of my photos and videos are uploading blurry.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s23 ultra and I have the same issue.
Even if i upload from PC the cover photo is blurry. Facebook is just not able to make the compression less i guess. It just looks bad!

I need to prove my identification on fb, so fb app takes a blurry picture of my drivers license then they deny me id cause its too blurry.
