Yup my local dealer told me my 109000 mile Chevy Volt needs a new battery and they smiled as they said $20000 to replace it with a refurbished battery…… I don’t think we will ever be ready to just flat out get ripped off like this. I am just glad I didn’t buy it new for outrageous price!

Historically, when you look back every time, the government gets involved in the creation or manufacture of and product the cost source astronomically high and dependability is very low, and our ability to afford these cars is also low. What the federal government is trying to say is rage govt will tell you what you can have ,what you can’t have, what you can drive ,what you can’t drive, and it dictates your life from birth to death like they’re your parent. What’s with the title? Where do you get your information from? To say people don’t want Ev’s is a bit of a stretch. There is a lot of people who do want them, they are not for everyone but your videos are very biased and your views are very outdated. If your going to post videos at least make them balanced and accurate.
Go get one. For the vast majority of the US driving public EVs are not even a consideration. 3-5%ish of car purchases each year are new cars. Of new sales, EVs are, at max, 25% of that 5%. The overall uptake of EVs is a minor portion of the total vehicles on the road. For most of the US. There are places, like SoCal, where EVs "work" for people.
