I've had a look around the e208 on the channel already but here is a look at the much cheaper petrol Peugeot 208. For the money, you'll be hard pressed to find a better looking new car!
Retail prices start from €18,300 plus delivery related charges, for the Active 1.2 PureTech 75bhp model. The e-208 Active version retails from €27,334, plus delivery, inclusive of the SEAI grant and VRT relief.
Available in Active, Allure and GT Line specification in petrol and diesel powertrains, four petrol units are on offer, dependent on trim, including a 1.2 PureTech 75bhp 5-spd, a 1.2 PureTech 100bhp 6-spd manual and 8-spd automatic and a 1.2 PureTech 130bhp 8-spd automatic. Diesel is offered in a 1.5 BlueHDi 100bhp 6-spd manual.

I've not found an answer to this. Do all ranges have push button start? I've seen the active premium with and without it. It always seems to be key start in the left hand drives but I'm not sure

How much is the petrol engine again please?
I am so stuck between this and the VW polo, if I was going to get one it would be the active model. I’m just unsure about the interior as I think I prefer the polos!
If you prefer the interior, that’s the bit you’ll spend most of your time looking at!
Very nice, I’d go for the gtline, stage 1 remap and ram air induction kit, 160 bhp, 220 ibft of torque. 0-60 in 7 seconds and 135 max. Iv got a 2016 model, will probably get the new version next in blue.👍

Polo is the solid dependable option, this has a bit more style about it and no doubt more for the money but VW just never have to try as hard I find.
Is it much cheaper? Have you considered all the lifetime costs?

Can only speak as a german customer. Here in Germany the e208 is much cheaper then the petrol one. If you produce your own solar energy its not even worth to calculate :D
@@jensschneider4053 well, my current energy cost is 11 eurocents per kWh. And that's not it, the overall lifetime cost related to the combustion system matters as well
