In 1996 I flew out to ASR trade in San Diego. When we flew into LA my buddy and I took the bus over to ET Surf... afterwards at the bus stop we hear a skateboard coming up the street and look and I whisper "dude it's Pancho Moler!" then Wee man rides by and gives us a nod and a weird look and I knew right way it was actually Jason Acuna. I was embarrassed that he might have heard me, but you never expect to see a pro in the wild like that, I wish we would have stopped him to chat but it was pretty unexpected. Such a cool dude on these podcasts!

Not using bearing spacers has always baffled me. The only reasons people don’t is because the companies cheaped out and quit putting them in the packaging years ago so they could sell more bearings as they don’t last nearly as long without spacers, or people are willfully ignorant.
