Yes and no. After filming the pilot episode a lot of the actors went back to their normal jobs (until the next filming). It really did take on a life of its own.

@@termonic2542 his character kinda crossed the line a bit too far with the misogyny/ homophobia/racism, also he was incredibly annoying in season 1 in my opinion, I’m glad they changed him up a little bit in the following seasons. I think it’s because the audiences weren’t catching on because season 1 was just a struggle to sit through. That’s why so many people get the wrong impression of the show when they only watch a few episodes
