You shattered my entire world view when you said "Cross Reaping" and "Void Reaping" don't have positionals. I've been making my life harder than I needed to by *always* hitting positionals, even in Enshroud. 0_0 This knowledge would've made some savage content much easier.... ^^;;
Thanks very much for the guide! I have a couple of questions: 1) A little subjective I suppose but do you find reaper to be the easiest/comfiest melee job for end game content? I was thinking that considering it works off priority rather than a strict rotation it could be quite flexible around downtime. 2) For the 2 minute burst, can a 1-2-3 combo action be used instead of shadow of death? Say the situation occurred where you HAD to shadow of death before the burst window because it was going to fall off beforehand.
Thank you! 1) reaper is considered the easiest melee dps, so if you want to play melee, it is certainly a good choice! It is worth mentioning that even if reaper is very easy to play, it has complex optimization you can do, so there is a high skill ceiling if you really want to master it! 2) you cannot access your 123 combo during enshroud so this is not even an option unfortunately! If you accidentally used shadow of death too much so you overcap the debuff if you use it again, I would still use shadow of death as the filler, and simply keep it in mind next time 😊 I hope this helps!
omg. ty for this video. ive been studying it. i understand most things, but im confused on Plentiful harvest. Am I only able to use it after Arcane Circle?
I can only reach so many buttons, and I am trying to organize my hotbars! At max level, how often are you actually using the basic 1-2-3 filler combo abilities? It seems like you would barely use them? I am only level 75 now, and want to put in the muscle memory work now. Thank you!
My best suggestion would be to try and rebind some of the further away buttons to buttons around your movement keys to get things closer! Alternatively, you can use an mmo mouse with a thumb grid (I use this), so you can split the work between your keyboard and mouse more evenly 😊 You actually do end up using the filler combo quite a lot, however they are prioritized lower than most if not all of your other options, so in shorter battles it can sometimes feel like they get very little action 😊
how much ping would u say u usually get ? ive recently been struggling with clipping issues during enshroud with 60-80 ping, and watching u do it with no clips makes me so jealous 😭😭 is this a skill issue or a net issue
I typically have a latency of around 20-30ms but it should be possible to do the enshroud without clipping as long as your ping is below around 112ms 🤔 it could be a practice thing, or you might not have a stable ping of 60-80 🙁 I am not 100% sure though!
@CaetsuChaijiCh hmm yeah im def gonna have to run some net tests bc ive been just chilling at a striking dummy when im bored and sometimes i dont clip other times i do and its so weird 😭😭 ill do more troubleshooting and practice, ty for the surprisingly quick reply o7
Well, it is a bit complicated. As Arcane Circle enables the use of Plentiful Harvest, which in turn gives you a use of Enshroud. So in the opener you sort of have to use Arcane Circle early. Later in the fight, it gets even more complicated due to tricks like Double Enshroud which can allow you to fit 2 Communios in the buff window! I hope this clears things up a bit at least!

Yes, plentiful harvest is only usable once per arcane circle and can only be used around 5-6 seconds after arcane circle as well 😅

i was using arcane circle right before i go enshrouded seeing as most of ur biggest attacks are used during that phase but i guess thats wrong ?

Why do my void reapings clip after ogcd attack. The 1.5 sks on that feels like shit
It likely might be a latency issue, there is not much you can do about it if that is the case. 😰
