Unfortunately even the technicians can't fix this shit because the main problem is within AMD and all the bullshit updates that they put into the drivers guess what you can't go back to older versions because they are deleting it. I've got a strange issue. I've completed alot of games on my amd gpu, none of them crashed. But one game is exeption, and it's Assasins creed valhalla, sometimes it works fine. Very strange

I have a rx590 and the game will crash after 20-60 minutes. After the crash a window will pop up and say that there was a driver timout. I dont know if my graphicscard is broken or the drivers are bad. It doesnt overheat.
Have you tried reinstalling the drivers with the standard profile selected as in the video? Also make sure you don't turn on any enhancements like image sharpening etc
@@karimarar download DDU, extract it and put in folder. Now run the application, it will cleanly uninstall amd radeon software. Then you are going to download back amd radeon (tick the check box for factory settings). You are NOT downloading the latest drivers...that is causing the issue...download one of the drivers that came out last year (2020) in october month
My old card is GTX1060 and it has been wonderful, then I 'upgraded' to rx5700xt, and the nightmare started. Tried factory reset with Adrenalin and it didn't change anything. Two crashes a day, keep my expectation for AMD away. I don't care how crappy Nvidea people are, I don't care how expensive they are. My next card will be Nvidea.

I also used AMDs version of DDU uninstaller which supposedly works even better for AMD display drivers. I've tried reverting to earlier drivers, updating, changing options. However I was curious if you had ever found a fix? Also, did you ever see any artifacts? Like any weird colors when it crashes or a checkerboard like pattern that forces you to reboot?

I know that switching from amd software adrenalin to amd pro (which is much harder to install as u cant find the installer almost anywhere) helped. Also in my case it was AMD shipping GPU without relasing stable drivers. Took them a year (seriously) to make crashfree one.
It did not stop the "timeout" error on my PC, but it seems to have helped so my AMD card doesnt stop mining when this happens. I noticed this mostly happens when using Firefox. Chrome does not have this issue...
Video too slow (to much intro/discussion before fix). Does not address my issue, and having had AMD for years, tried this before I watched this video. I can game hours upon hours on end... but watch RUclips, browse Wikipedia, or something like that, and it causes a driver hang, a blue screen of death, or a hard lock of death. Occasionally, it requires me to open device manager, re-enable the GPU, and then reboot again before I'm back to normal.

Please bro help me with your settings and laptop configuration for i have an intel i5(from 1.8GHz base frequency at power saver to 3.39GHz at high performance) dell Inspiron 5770, 8GB DDR4 RAM and 4GB GDDR5 Radeon 530 with all my drivers up-to-date to the 2023 version including my BIOS, my laptop is set at high performance with optimized settings for high performance all maxed out, but if l play a game for about 10 minutes, my graphic card crashes and displays a driver time out despite installation with DDU, iv tried all the fixes but non seems to work. -The gmes that have issues are GTA V, Call of duty MM3, call of duty Ghost, call of duty world at war qnd the funniest part is that all these work perfectly on my Intel UHD 630 integrated GPU.
It is RAM timings not driver. Even if it is working on xmp profile it will crash. Losen up timings and will work. example if RAM is rated 16 18 18 53 go up by 1. So will be 17 19 19 53. It is very important what ram you buy for amd system. You have to check what models of ram are supported for specific motherboard. It doesnt mean RAM stick is broken it is just bad for specific motherboard you are currently using.....
@@somethingamazingtech Nah bro I was wrong. It was the graphic card frequefency. My reference 5700xt was set at defoult 2050 and 1200 Voltage. Now that I lowered frequency to 1925 and voltage 1050 it stoped crashing. Is shity card with too much factory overvolt than necessary. That has fixed it.
@@youssefqassab7167 hi ignore my old comment. I have refference card 5700 xt blower cooler. What really worked is undervolting the card. I ve used MSI Afterburner because if I use radeon adrenaline software and the game crashes it will revert back to default. With msi afterburner you can set it to run your profile on system startup. Anway what made my games actualy run without excessive crashes are using this settings: Core Voltage 1020, Core Clock 1900 and power limit -10 and I keep fan speed at 45% for lower and still acceptable noise. Becouse of this settings/undervolting gpu runs 20 C lower and gpu stopped crashing. And games perform with same fps. Problem with this card is that they overlclocked the damn thing in factory so that all gpus pass the minimum perormance when it is not really needed in realty it is only hurting the card.

@All I have a super strange situation here, my PC: Ryzeb 3600 Viper 2x8GB 3200 DDR 2 x SSD + HDD Asus x470f motherboard with latest bios Windows 11 latest update Antec 750w PSU And the brand new Gigabyte Radeon 6700XT Eagle Previously GTX 1060 I will start with facts, I ran multiple DDUs, tried 3 generations of Radeon drivers including the Enterprise pro drivers. NOTHING helps. So what's the issue? Any game I test including ray tracing demo benchmarks, nothing crashes. But Cyberpunk will crash anytime I enable ray tracing, even if I just enable the 1st ray tracing tab and nothing else it takes from seconds to minutes until it crash, with it crashes the Radeon driver. Playing without RT, NO crashes. I decided come to my friend today, we installed my gpu on his pc, Cyberpunk worked and didn't crash, with and without RT. Then we removed his ram, put mine, and..... Crash as soon as you try play with RT on. Then, we removed my ram and put his back, and now the game crashes on RT on his ram too!!!!!! We tested multiple times and reboots before we tested my ram....it didn't crash....what is happening? Any ideas ....any help? Thank you!
What partner card do you have? A better monitor will improve picture quality. Can also try a fresh install of amd recommended gpu driver and also make sure os etc is updated. Also make sure it's the gpu by trying another gpu in the system to make sure no other component maybe causing the crashes
Negative, cannot even test the Standard mode or don't want to because it turns off Enhanced Sync.. Running monitor at 100hz and not having Enhanced Sync. will cause problems.

The newer drivers seem to be fine for me. Just make sure game mode is turned off in windows

If I understand correctly...check pci e slot and make sure in correctly. Fans on gpu won't turn on immediately. Also make sure bios is updated

My gpu radeon rx 5500 xt has the most bugged drivers of all, i have to shutdown my pc and then fucking lags a lot and have to reinstall them
Negative, cannot even test the Standard mode or don't want to because it turns off Enhanced Sync.. Running monitor at 100hz and not having Enhanced Sync. will cause problems.
My pc will freeze on google chrome then it will go black like you said but never on games

Never have tried that game. Not sure why it would. Can you play it in dx11 or 12?

I had a problem before that about d3d device was removed due to dxgi_error_driver_internal_error but I think that´s not a problem anymore

It's frustrating that amd is not prioritizing this bullshit problem, this was supposed to be my upgrade for my old potato pc im dumping this crap not touching anything that has amd on it again

I’m on my 3rd crash in a week 😓, I wasn’t even playing a game. All I did was plug in a USB cord into a port on my case 🙄

Never used anything else but the standard profile. I swear amd drivers are the worst... I used AMD Cleanup Utility and installed the latest drivers. Still crashing my games and I don't know what to do but warn everyone before buying amd cards...

Given it a go and hopefully it works, I was playing League - a relatively light game - and my GPU crashed with the same issues stated in the video. I hope it stops :c I'm really concerned.
What GPU you using?. The newer drivers seem to be alot more stable
