3:00 He started out spearheading the charge against enemies with all aspect missiles, then died because he slowed down waaay too much with enemies within 3km
7:50 He gave the j35 a perfect opportunity to launch a missile when instead he could have fought it in the vertical and won easily, or go into a ratefight and win after the j35 bleeds all his soeed
12:20 Starts a ratefight and it looks like he's coming out on top, 12:45 suddenly straightens out and instantly gets the f5c back on his tail
13:59 Approach the enemy airfield? That's a paddlin'!
17:05 100% tunnelvision. The other enemy is clearly visible on the minimap and he even acknowleged it's precense half a minute earlier

Raises my hope that someone at Gaijin will see how frustrating their game actually is rather than all the “everything is awesome” stuff RUclips usually shows them. It seems pretty clear that none of them play their game like an average player would… so a player without unlimited golden eagles to throw at every grind and SL shortfall.
I question if they play their game at all when they tell the community the BR’s don’t need any decompression.

The ones im talking are Maus, IS3, t95 and all super heavies and heavies, is4 isn't ww2, but it's like it was, it's just an uparmored IS3, no shell diference, nothing

If you think this is suffering you definally should try the G-91Y, same BR but with no radar, no AAM and subsonic aircraft with sub-par manuverability. It could be a nice challenge for you

When the Lansen, Hunter, Mig19 and F100 ruled the 9.7 hard cap was when I had the most success in WT and maybe even the most fun. Nowadays it's just unplayable dogshit 😔
the j32 should go down to 9.0 and the a32 should go down to 8.7

Au contraire, the J32 should stay 9.7 and the BR brackets should be moved to 12.7+ moving the J32 would be catastrophic to the Korean War era jets that are already struggling badly

No, its a really hard plane to use right now.
Missiles are only good to force the target to dodge and kill speed.... unless if they have flares.

The MiG-19 is still really good if you focus on the right targets. The flight performance is easily 9.7, 10.0 quality. The lack of flares is a huge handicap.
That said it's way too much effort for the average player and the BR bracket has to be fixed nonetheless.
Was painful watching phly get confused at the Mig-19's arcade br of 9.7 (RB br is 9.3)

I really love the MiG-19. It's the perfect energy fighter. Also, 0.85 thrust-to-weight in a 1955 fighter jet? Yes please! You play best by climbing at 30 degrees to like 10km then swoop down and take out A-10s from the rear with your missiles and guns. Then just zoom back up and BnZ till the enemy is dead or runs back to their airfield.
Missiles are easy to dodge without counter measures, you just have to angle better! :)
Also, hearing your mic boom getting smacked is the most hilarious sounds in WT!
Exactly man you can dodge aim 9js with the right angle and r-60s if you have at least 2.5km of separation.

Hey Phly, if you'd like some gun phights, the He 162 was lowered to 6.0. It unphortunately still gets stuck with the Ju 288 spam, and the wallet warrior Su-11s, but it's quite a beast in capable hands. The Salamander does bite!

Its so sad, jets like the Mig19 and T-2 are quite decent, but thanks to missile spamming its incredibly annoying to fly anything without flares 8.7 and upwards
this is why ive stopped playing higher brs because even if im winning, the gameplay is so brainless

i really love this plane, you just need to climb to 4km and flank a-10. It can easly pull 14G and 7G while "lost controll"
Yeah I think he made this to show he also struggles just like us , Like a normal war thunder match, That J35A is the swedish Draken very good at combat but it has very old missiles that requires the nose to keep pointing towards the enemy plane

Phly, please take a Swedish 1.7 lineup. I havent had this much phun (and rage) in a long time, the tech tree is a real hem.
Hi phly, I have a few hundred games played in the mig19PT, it is an exceptionally well performing aircraft but you have to play it a very specific way. Accelerate on the deck to .95 then pitch up in the climb until you slow to .89 in the climb. If you do that then nothing can out climb you up to 30,000 ft. At that point you want to engage the other high altitude aircraft and eliminate them before you hop onto the lower energy enemies below you. Also the radar is trash and most airplanes have rws anyway so just turn it off as soon as you spawn in. The missiles you have are pretty shit so you want to use your climb performance to get to altitude and shoot your missiles from 3km behind someone when they don't know you are there. Love this plane as it is one of the most rewarding energy fighters in the game
Unfortunately that much of a strategy only works on 9.3 and below. Once you get to 9.7, which is 99/100 games - it doesn’t work at all. You can get to 10 km first, and still be shot by F4C in frontal approach from 4.5 km with radar guided missile. If not - you ll go into fight with a harrier and another one from 4 km below u will just Aim9G you out of the sky. You can’t attack A10 or ocasional Su25 since they can shoot all aspect at you. You can’t outmaneuver or outrun F5C of F104. And even any premium Mig21 will slap you with radar guided missile as well.
It can make a few kills once in a while, when it’s your lucky game, even bring some joy killing high tier planes. But consistently it’s just a flying practice target for everyone on 9.7. Just the same as Su7.

I just got this plane yesterday and played it. Got rekt so hard when I turned on boosters. but soon as boosters run out Im doing good in an uptier bruuuhhh. But yea it is mostly pain and I havent even started paying my soul up (repair cost).
The mig 19 is a funky plane rn, I prefer the mig 19S with the 3 cannons and no missiles or radar as it is lighter. The sole advantage you have over enemies is energy retention, if you can bait people into vertical fights you can absolutely beat them up all day long, the problem is all their friends with 30g missiles
This is a really good reality check on how premiums and good missile planes are corrupting the high-mid/top tier matchmaking. Remeber the good old days😢 Skill is obsolete
