- In this video I review the 2024 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD model!
I go over the standard equipment and surprising features of this entry level SUV. What do you think? Is the LE model enough for you?
Thanks for watching.

I think the base cars are the best, very simple to take care of, and less maintenance too, and less costs to fix.
It's good to have this. There are people that are perfectly content with these options. The lower price also attracts retirees, single income , etc.
Also as seen from Steve Wallis, a great car to sleep in
@@erroristmusic 😀💀
Or people like myself that just don’t care. I like money more than I like cars. I’m not paying thousands extra to push a button instead of turning a key. Who cares
@@JH-qqqqqiim👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Exactly, and the frwer things on the vehicle to go wrong!
Florida here. My 2024 LE did not come with the blind spot monitor system or the heated seats. However, it did come substantial rubber mats throughout, including my trunk area. Great to combat the Florida sand. The MSRP was a couple thousand lower, too.
I wish it had a back hatch release inside the car, but it doesn't. Not a deal breaker for me.
Not crazy about the automatic start/stop, but there is a button to turn it off when I start the car. Glad it has a key instead of push button start.
As you can see, the wheel covers look pretty nice.
The only option I want that it doesn't have is fog lights. However, there is al local company that can install them for me.There are places on the front for them and a vacant switch inside the car.
Overall, I love my 2024 LE! I stuck to my budget and am not lamenting getting all the fancy stuff. I'd do it again. Anyway, an engineer would tell you the more connections or gadgets you have, the more potential points of failure.
Looking forward to having this car for many years:)
Basic model is safe from thieves than electronic key...
its great ..No steal me button ...I love it!
Base model reviews are rare and much appreciated. Thank You! This RAV4 is indeed quite well equipped (aside from the steel wheels).
I own a 2023 LE AWD. Absolutely no difference between the 2023 and 2024 models with a $3,000 differential. Crazy..
The base models are so underrated.
I would definitely take this 2024 Toyota Rav4 LE. I don't have to have all the Bells and Whistles. This would do just fine. Just like my 2023 Toyota Camry LE The Base Model. The only thing I wish my 23 Camry LE would have is the Blind Spot Monitoring, and Heated Mirrors. Besides that I'm Happy.
For the money 💰 is not so basic, you get your money worth in the engine and transmission compared to it's main rival tiny 1.5t and cvt. Toyota is the clear winner for me IMO.
LE is way less stolen, no leaks from roof rails and sunroof ... no other negatives really, compared to XLE. Wheels you can always do with custom than stock.
This is all we need basic I love Japanese mindset
We are going to test drive this exact model tomorrow. I can afford all the bells and whistles, but for thousands of dollars less, I would rather use that money for a vacation.
Dude. Your shave is well done. Good job on your moustache.
Hahahahah. Ok man thx
Perfect dependable daily driver.
I think this model is fine…..but replace those cheap looking wheel covers. Personally I love the XLE.
This should be the standard of "Basic" for every new car.
Definitely not to basic, exactly what I’m planning on buying, my wife has the le Corolla and loves it.
I'm in the USA. So thank you for saying gallons and liters
Yes man
I love my RAV4 2013 I just hit 151,000 last week. Last year I put 7,500 dollars into it. I replaced the sway bar, front shocks and struts, all rotors, all breaks, new tires and had to replace the muffler. Last week I paid 850 to replace the drive shaft. I live near Cleveland Ohio where salty roads eat up a car from underneath. But my frame is good and the car has been paid off for years. I bought it with only 8,000 miles on it. I’m the second owner and I’ll keep it as long as it runs. Trying to reach 300,000 miles.
From an insurance pov it might not be worth to put money into it in case something happens. But if it’s been paid off a while ago that much in maintenance may not be bad
33k plus freight pdi taxes and 8% purchase financing = 50k. Uh ohhh...
Recorded horizontally:)
Just got the 2024 LE in October. love it. I bought the black alloy wheels and using the steel rims for my winter tires. I painted the plastic hub caps black. Black overlay and black exhaust tips. Looks amazing. Only wish more ambient lighting inside and the the window/lock switches were illuminated. I swapped them out with after market and looks great. Also added the lighting to the cubbies on the dash.
ya new is the way to go, used is overpriced.
How much? All in please.
@@jollyp1605 I also bought extra cargo cover cargo net and door sill protectors. Roughly $44500 in total including 4 year warranty oil changes that is with all taxes.
I paid $42,000 all in for the 2023 model le and I just had the gunmetal alloy rims as an add on which were $1300. I guess it’s about right but I always questioned the $1900 for freight they charged me and the $800 administration fees . I thought I read somewhere that these 2 fees were part of the msrp. We’re you also charged these two fees? Thank you.
you will love this Suv, @@jollyp1605
Rav 4 LE is fine for me. The only thing I do not like are the cheap wheel covers.
we can always buy new red rims!
XLE is the sweet spot for me
In Canada you mean, it's only available as an AWD, but I think obviously in the states, we still have a choice.
Roof rails please. Put them back!
I like basic
Just got a 24' LE AWD with a $6000 discount on the sticker price. Is that too basic? The only thing I can complain about (after having a 21' 4Runner Premium) is the smart key system. I don't miss anything else. The LE is definitely a bargain and a huge value when buying a Toyota. Easy to service. Easy to maintain. Great fule economy. Simple and totally useful model that works unless you are into moonroofs and power seats and stuff like that.
Are you in the US or Canada? I’m guessing US if you got a discount
@@rebeccad5201 USA
I wish it had push/start button, it's the only thing I don't like
Better have the base model than be in debt buying the highest trim.
Le must be different in Canada. In America, LE does not come standard with RCTA and BSM
That's the premium version in my country. And cost around 40k USD. 😂
"latest Toyota tech" looks like an after thought clip on to the vents 3:39
Wanted this but Mazda 2024 CX5 S preferred got me 0% 60 months. Sad Toyota was 8.75% ( my bank 5.99% ) so Mazda was nearly 125$ less a month same price
And cx5 way better design inside instead outdated rav4
Was that in US?
@@Imme85-s7m and where do you think in Russia?
@@yournightmare9999Is Russia the only country in your mind? You need to go back to school and learn geography again.
@@Imme85-s7m so why are you stupidly asking if this is America?
It is more than enough for me.
LEs sell the most.
My le 2019 rav4 was a piece got hit by a girl on drugs 😮😢
I am confused: Does a standard 2024 RAV4 LE in Canada come with a blind spot monitor ? This video says yes, but the manual seems to say no, not with the standard.
Wondering the same thing
@@dianemc Oh, I have just been to an Ottawa dealer, and can confirm that the Canadian 2024 RAV4 LE does come with blind spot monitors on both sides. As another bonus, the sun visors can be extended. Nice.
We bought the LE with AWD and it's perfect! Everything we need and nothing we don't, just like the Xterra!
Basic old-school is the best last problem
With the LE, can you get a valet key? I had a valet key for my 2019 RAV4 LE. I ref lacrosse and easier to put a valet key in a pocket and zip it instead of the bigger key.
Is that CVT in it?
8 speed automatic. Just got the exact same model, love it!
Can someone tell me are these seats comfortable or no? Im in dilemma if its worth ordering a RAV 4 with the leather seats version with electronic adjustment
Less complexity less problems
Wait.. do you have to pay a subscription for remote start??
Can you show the woodland, maybe in Army Green if you get one?
Took one out for a test drive... What a boring vehicle. My last four cars have been Honda Civics with manual transmissions. I prefer to drive the car then the car drive me. I think I will go for an AWD Camry in bright red next instead of this family wagon.
Currently shopping for one, thank you!
Does it have the GPS navigation system?
Add mine I got the alloy wheels.
I bought a brand new RAV4 HYB XLE and it’s not been a day yet. And I am having to face these malfunctions- “A malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected”. Can you please share your experience related to this? If that’s something you came across in the past
Does a new RAV4 comes with a sliding platform in the trunk? Thanks
I'm debating about trading in my 2022 Corolla hatch for one of these, probably the XLE Premium however. Need something with AWD since we get snow in northern AZ.
Corolla now comes in a crossover called the 'Cross'......If I hadn't owned 2 previous rav 4s (just bought my third) I think I would have gone with the 'cross'.....It's a smaller 'rav' sacrificing only the leg room in the back seat!
@@kevinthompson4320 I ended up trading in my Nissan 370Z for the same amount I paid for 5 years ago. Got a white 2024 Rav4 Adventure.
Toyota makes you pay for navigation system, that sucks, another thing is starting car remotely. It works well through app but when you open doors, car shutdown engine, what is the reason for that? Remote control doesn't have dedicated remote start button like Honda or other brands
Any 2024 trail video coming up?

2024 LE does not have heated seats. At least not on the gas version in the US. Maybe you were looking at a Honda CRV.
In Canada, we have.
In Canada we have front heated seats only. 5 usb ports. I saw a US video the LE has in the rear 12v cigarette adapter if this is correct. Winter floor mats are included. We also have front window de icer not sure if US model has it. The side mirrors have the turn signal indicator . I'm thinking the US model does not. So I'm guessing that is why the Canadian model is more money. Plus we pay more taxes.
In Australia, the interior is black, so very dark. Would prefer the lighter grey as shown in the video. The basic model here called GX does not come with heated or ventilated seats in Australia
Too basic for me!
May I ask if the 2025 Toyota RAV4 has had a facelift?
We don’t know yet. Video coming soon. Stay tuned
Should I buy a 2024 RAV4 or wait for the 2025 model? Please help me
Its the base model.. The first RAVs had optional AC, Armstrong Windows and No ABS... If you want/need more features, buy an upgraded model!!
The rav 4 showing is 2023 model…
???? No it is not also how would you know ?
Too basic for me, personally you buy a car for 10-15 years , so I am going XLE
Im confused i see 2023 and 2024 les with new headlights but this one does not have new headlights why is that..
And this one has heated seats when all the other 2023 2024 les with new headlights dont
Is it because this one in canada and other ones in us
As usual, great video Marchello 👍
Wish it had a power seat as standard equiptment.
I love my LE except I wish I had heated seats
Not sure if you are talking about the rear seats but the canadian models has front heated seats
7:43 shows the heated seats in this model
The smart key to me is a down grade basic is all you need to get you from A to B
Not a single pelican ask about CTV
Basic customer win
Fancy maker win
This is Rav4 Le: ruclips.net/video/TCNKKR1-ftU/видео.htmlfeature=shared
side view mirrors are door mounted
I won't buy a rav 4 until they redo the outdated exterior and interior. Then it will be the Woodland
If you want the newest, latest and greatest, then Toyota is not for you. They are not a progressive and flashy company. They are subtle .They are slow to change, making sure everything is calculated. Their focus is reliability. They look at things long term. They don’t get caught up in the newest thing, they remain with logic. You can look at most of the Toyota vehicles like this, “ the car looks good enough, but I know it’ll last me if I treat it right”. That’s Toyota in a nutshell.
Many Fleet buyers want basic
@toyotaworld mr Marcello. is it possible to have the Current wait time for Rav4 hybrid? We hear that it will be longer than 2023. Is it true?
Yes you are correct
i bought one xle awd for 32900 ...love it
I have 2023 le awd , I love it
What’s the MSRP and best deal on this ?
The vehicle you are showing is it 2024 model or 2023 model…?
It says on the title of the video that it's a 2024 model.
@@hellojennifer520don’t rely on whatever title are providing, please check the Toyota website to see the 2024 Rav and 2023 Rav…then you will understand
Thank you mate

A digital speedometer but analog Tachometer, gas gauge and coolant temp gauge?
Kinda “dumb” … IMO it should be all digital or all analog!
The settings menu or information stuff, I don’t mind those having its own digital screen. I am not a fan of Digital Speedometer, Gas gauge and coolant temp gauge! I like analog! 😁
Can you use an iPod with the 2024 RAV4?
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Only Toyota gives you cheap wheels with hubcaps...
I am having a difficult time finding one with a light color interior.
