Coffezilla tells Joe about how he knew about the scamming that was going on with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried. They talk about how Sam thought people were oblivious and what he did to cover his tracks.

Coffee is just so well spoken and knowledgeable on all his investigations he's just a joy to listen too. Even Joe is mesmerized
TOAST wtf i remember you from like 10 years ago why did i unsub legend
Coffee is also the kid who ratted on the smokers of the class
all you need is highschool level knowlege in a subject joe dont know and speaking skills to mesmerize him
seriously, you need to leave the house more.
he also is extremly biased and takes info he gets from twitter and claims he found it lmao
Coffee is one of the few people that actually transcends being “just a RUclipsr” because what he does is so important. We gotta protect this guy at all costs.
He’s a real journalist which in this day and age is very rare
@@puckered6036 If you have to seek them out then thats the literal definition of rare.
It’s bad that he has a platform. And that’s not bad towards coffeezilla at all
Yes. Especially his 3 part nothingburger where he lies, omits information, and straight up doesn't show a single verifiable bit of proof about that dumbfuck re. Paul brother. What a guy.
His old content, where he actually did shit, was pretty cool. Tracking identifiable wallets, ETC. Now he just grifts and acts like he did a bunch of shit he didn't do, while posting dogshit with no evidence.
NYT asked these questions and the same happened
So excited to see Coffeezilla get recognized. He was one of the few channels I watched rise from nothing to something big and impactful. Props!
coffeezilla is why the Ju fears the white Chad
Especially exposing nft frauds...
I was one of his first 100 subscribers.
Same! I’ve been watching RUclips since it was created and I’ve never had the experience of seeing a creator I’ve been watching before everyone knew about them before now! He felt so reachable just a few years ago and now it’s obvious that he wouldn’t even be able to do those Discord calls on The Drip podcast he and Amish used to do now due to his popularity. He’s more than just some random RUclipsr on top of that.
@@ronaldcoleman2217 have you received your medal yet?
Coffee being on JRE is like the coolest thing I've seen in forever...he's done so much good work for the public. As far as I know he deserves all of the good-will and fortune he's experiencing, and I hope he continues down his current path. Never in a million years did I expect JRE to have him on, but here we are.
coffeezilla is why the Ju fears the white Chad
you really need to get out more
@@italianmiltyfriedman6264 what does that have to do with anything?
@@italianmiltyfriedman6264 The fuck? You're salty because I'm happy for Coffee getting a big come up like this? Dude has done so much good for the world.
Yo the meat riding is crazy
Coffee deserves all this exposure more than any other youtuber I can think of.
It was the wood nymph!
I don't think he deserves as much exposure as he gets and he def doesn't deserve this title as if he's responsible for Sam's demise. There are many unsung heroes on Twitter where this all unfolded last year, and continues to unfold. People investigating FTX way before Coffee got involved. Fortunately for him he marketed himself as the scam guy and gets most of the glory. It is what it is just don't praise him more than necessary.
@@Yapperinos I didn't say he deserves it because of Sam and ftx. He deserves it because of his body of work especially over the past two years. Take the sam ftx situation out of it entirely it's not a factor in his body of work. And you are either jealous or a hater. Get over yourself.
Yes, he isn't just producing entertainment. He is providing education and a social good by exposing frauds.
I agree - coffee deserves all the shine it can get. Tea, meanwhile, is always trying to steal the spotlight. And don't even get me started on kombucha.
Damn the production at the 10 Million Dollar Studio is getting insane! It actually looks like Coffee is on the JRE.

I give Coffeezilla props, he is doing real journalism and asks the hard hitting questions to arrogant scammers like Logan Paul and SBF. Coffee is a straight up G!
And he’ll inspire more to do the same!

While Logan is playing cryptozoo
@@_moritzperez_Not even that!
Don’t disrespect connect 4 like that
Yeah, and GriftZilla didn't provide literally a single verifiable fact about fraud in that entire 3 part series.
How do you fuck up proving that someone as stupid as a fucking Paul brother stole people's money, and somehow turn the entire thing into a hunt for some other moron that isn't who he says he is?
@@anthonyeclipse haha came to say this, you beat me to it
Coffee is the Batman of the online financial World.
He is the hero we Need but don't deserve.
I'm glad Coffeezilla is finally being recognized. I was watching him when he was small. I'm in Tech and I'm sick of tech bros being treated as "whiz kids" and somehow better than actual professionals. There are basics in life and business and tech people don't get it often. Hard work & saving isn't a bad thing. If you want to keep your wealth, you can't spend your money on crap.
Well in my opinion
I still remember the days Coffee Break was his main and Coffeezilla his second channel
What still blows me away, is him deciding to talk to everyone in the middle of an investigation, WHEN HIS PARENTS ARE LAW PROFESSORS AT STANFORD. First day of law school you learn to advise your client to stop talking publicly, until the investigation is over.
I don't find it odd at all.
His parents are very influential. They probably bailed him out of getting in trouble throughout his life.
Parents and son felt that this was just another time their kid made a bad decision and they just need to call a couple friends to sweep it under the rug.
The kid has a sense of immunity because the parents are powerful.
Honestly this reminds me a lot of when Alec Baldwin was giving interviews on national TV after the shooting incident on the set of Rust. People that are used to the spotlight have a real hard time keeping quiet.
@@trogdorstrngbd but Alec is completely innocent so it's slightly different
@@tomr6955 Let's just say I think he's guilty of some of the accusations against him but _not_ all. Regardless, he should not have been haphazardly trying to defend himself (against his lawyer's counsel, I'm sure, if he consulted one) when it wasn't even clear how the police were going to approach it. If your story has any holes they'll just aim the charges directly at them!
@@tomr6955 definitely not "completely" innocent,a few of the most important gun safety rules include treating any weapon as loaded, only point a gun in the direction of something you intend to kill/destroy and do not keep your finger on the trigger unless you're gonna shoot. He broke all of those...
I followed all the developments on Coffee's channel, he's crazy sharp in the way he spotted the flaws in SBF's strategy of worming his way out of situations. He constructed a plan consisting of airtight logical traps that left SBF with no escape.
And in the execution, he was steady, focused, and relentless in carrying out that plan.
Coffee outplayed that slimy fraudster, cornering him and making him incriminate himself live.
I'm not sure what the proper word for these skills are, but Coffee is an absolute master at it.
Being a snitch is what I believe it’s called. Bro has cop vibes

Glad I was part of it sharing coffeezila videos to all people
There will definitely be a movie about this. I can’t wait.
So proud to see coffee on here. Been subbed to him for so long. He deserves it.
Sam's father was part of the whole thing. His father is an attorney and a professor at Stanford University and was on the FTX payroll for over a year. Sam and his father worked together with Gary Gensler to make legislation for crypto. If Gary Gensler didn't personally know that it was a scam, that means that he never did his JOB and looked into the company before bringing them to Washington countless times for advice. If he did know then again Gary Gensler should also be fired and charged. *Sam's mother also helped to write the guidelines for crypto, but she was never on the payroll to have any legitimate ties to the company.
There is also the possibility that many of SBF's previous interviews were scripted before the FTX collapse. It's definitely not beyond the realm of possibility for interviewers to send their list of questions to SBF prior to the interview so he can prepare his response. Maybe SBF is intelligent or maybe SBF is just a good actor. His true intelligence was showing when he was answering questions from Coffeezilla. No one prepared a script for that. SBF didn't know what to say.
It would make sense if he was some kind of shill to discredit a decentralised currency that hasnt been stoppable upto now..
@@he_is_a_GOOBER_dont_disrespect What stinks is this did not discredit stable coins like bitcoin - which is totally safe. SBF's scam was just a Clearinghouse. You can have a clearinghouse for anything - for used video games. If a videogame clearinghouse failed it wouldn't doom the videogame industry. They're relying on the average voter being unable to think, as usual.
Did you see his testimony before Congress a yr or 2 before the blowup? Def not scripted. He’s smart - at least in standardized tests - but not as smart as he thinks.
@@WestCoastAce27 I have heard rumors that even some congressional testimonies are scripted. Some people will send a list of questions to the person who will testify, then both groups literally act it out in congress as though it's the first time they are being asked.
@@jasonbrasington7880 but you’re too lazy to go watch. Ok. I guarantee you the Republicans did not pre-release their questions. And like him or not - I didn’t before FTX went under - one should be able to admit he was intelligent and a good speaker. Just not as smart as he thought and coddled by his woke parents.
I give Coffee props. Kid does his homework and calls out fraudulent, lying thieves. It is pretty cool

Coffeezilla is the man!! Im a huge fan of what he does. You can binge watch everything in his yt channel and time just flies by.
Im in finance and im not a genius. I did pass cfa2, but im just a smart self employed guy.. and i understood what happened with ftx within 3 days of the announcement and was able to read between those lines. When i see coffeezilla explain it.. i still see hes not too sharp with this stuff and i went to his channel and he ultimately forces you to spend a lot of time watching something that can he explained quite simply... These very basic schemes. I guess my point is that hes not too smart and for him to be an idol with whom he explains this too other people is surprising.
@Scotty G lmao how many times you gonna copy/paste your shit take. Just hoping someone bites?
@@kmlumd44you know what I think? You just jealous really, do better and stop complaining if you are so smart. Is not just about the scheme itself, it's everything, the structure, the dialogue, the editing, and there is no doubt about his influence in some of this cases specially FTX so I really don't see your point. You just mad because he is doing better than you ahah
Coffeezilla is a legend now
Lol at the last minute. Joe talking about video games is always a good laugh.
Awesome to see Coffee on Rogan. Dude has been doing great work, deserves all the credit.
When Coffee is sitting in his 10 million dollar studio, no criminal is safe.
I just can't believe they didn't know the whole scam was going to blow up in their face sooner or later. I guess they figured it out and stashed some cash aside
The ‘always up’ years of BTC/ETH did it. With a dose of ‘we went to Stanford and MIT, we’re smarter than everyone else, we’ll trade our way out of trouble.’
3 Arrows and Celsius only went under because of the downturn in cryptos. Everyone’s a genius when everything is going up.
Good for Joe having Coffeezilla. More please.
