@ 6:26, wuut?, this is a USB 3.0 with 5GHz 1Gbps+ wifi connection and hte transfer is only 34-62MB/s?, meanwhile an NVIDIA Shield TV Pro with 2x USB 3.0 ports has network transfer speeds of 112MBps on one of the reviews I watched. is this transfer speed the actual speed in 5Ghz network?
I had to send mine back. It wouldn't connect to the internet. I put all my details in manually, that my ISP sent me, and it just kept giving a notice that the WAN was unplugged. I didn't know this router didn't have a DSL socket, because my current router does, and I'm wondering if this was the problem.
Yes, you need a DSL modem, your ISP should provide one for you. If they don't ask them the models they recommend so to make sure you get one that works with your ISP
@@KnowledgeSharingTech No one ever mentions this. I thought that by now, every router would have the modem built in. The cost of a modem is more than the router, that's why I'm sending it back.
Thanks for the review, but are you sure this router supports MU-MIMO? TP-Link web site does not mention anything about this router supports MU-MIMO but it does mention MU-MIMO for other routers like AX73 so can you confirm this router supports MU-MIMO?
Yes, it supports MU-MIMO. Take a look at the description on Amazon and in the Q&A on Amazon where TP-Link answers this question in the Q&A section: amzn.to/3JO649f
I've just bought this router like just now, but I can't seem to figure out why the "online" oled is not turning green it's just orange/red for more than an hour now. My main modem is an Arris cm8200 p2. And my old router is a TP-Link Archer VR1600v Dual Band Router I do recall that my internet provider gives the router and the modem in a package deal. Please anyone who can clarify and help me with the setup?
I don't understand. Since I bought this router, my speed went down from 500mbps to 350mbps max... Wifi or cable. Didn't change anything else in my setup. Tried with my old router and it's back to 500. Any idea ?
I've just got the router and has no idea what to turn on and off, and I have the same problem instead of getting 500 I'm getting about 350 mbps maximum.
Great review.I will now be purchasing this router after a lot of research and your video topped it off.
Cheers.

AX50 was known for overheating issue. What about AX55 ? Is it already solved, better cooling ?
No overheating issues on the AX55
Should I get asus ax55 and risk the 160mhz?
You can always disable the 160MHz band if it causes conflicts
