Very nice John. I love the lay out of the front deck and console area. You’re right about that carpet staying wet all the time. I can’t make up my mind about that sea deck material, i worry it will squeak when wet, I can’t wait for your feedback.

Hey John really like the review of this boat and what a nice layout it has! You are like me in that I do my own rigging also. Been following Bass Cat for a while but never really found a model that suited my taste/ style. I think Bass Cat has finally produced a model that will meet my needs and likes in a bass boat! Looking forward to your continued review of how this project evolves. Good luck this season on tour!

Hey as a dreamer of owning a boat like this. I have to ask why the puma over the eyra? I thought I remember watching a video where you seemed to like the eyra better than the lynx. You've owned all 3 models. Would be helpful if you did a pros and cons of all 3. You probably don't know much on this puma but you probably can anticipate issues about it. Great video and congrats on owning a dream rig.

im a skeeter yamaha fan myself but the under seat storage is the best thing im missing in my boat. the more you fish the more you need room for odds and ends... nice boat Mr Crews good luck this upcoming year

I would be sceptical with the lynx because of the weight sensitive bow?

@@timarmstrong8038 There’s been a lot of feedback from owners saying they don’t get good bow lift when their tackle is in the boat. The boat runs around 66 mph when a decent amount of tackle is in the bow of the boat because it cannot get enough life and the deeper V of the hull has too much bite in the water. I’ve never driven one myself but I’ve heard from a ton of people both in person and online about this issue. It can be avoided by putting most tackle in the back but sometimes that’s a pain

Nice looking ride. I just watched the million dollar BPS tournament and the teams that were on camera were using forward sonor catching suspended bass. They had one bow unit and won a million. Just saying 😎

Doesn't it void the warranty on the Mercury Outboard if you use Lithium as a starter battery??
Not for Lithium Pros. They work with Mercury but many other brands do void it

Batteries have been the same but Lithium Pros just came out with that jumbo 12v so now I only need the 2 with my Power Pole Charge

@@JohnCrews yea, looked hard at it, but not a fan of the white top cap, the livewell system is lacking compared to the p2, and you lose the 43 gallon fuel tank. Oh well 🤷♂️
@@JohnCrews JC if you have any pull maybe you can put something In Rick's ear about redesigning the P2 with a wider beam. I'll be a buyer 😁

I sold Bass Cat boats for several years and sold Ranger for about 25 years . Had Bass Cats up to 2020 . There is no comparison between Bass Cat and Rangers fit and finish even though Ranger isn’t what it once was . The year I committed to being a Bass Cat dealer I went to the first dealer meeting after seeing under the lids the pinstripes were awful I got my employees and left the dealer meeting the first day and my Bass Cat rep called me on the way home and said where you at I said I’m not happy with what I saw he then ask me to rethink not wanting to be a dealership for them and I became a dealer against my better judgment. We had to send back a couple the first year because of poor workmanship. I just bought a new Ranger this summer and they look way better. So you can laugh if you want cause I realize they take care of you for free rides . But I’m afraid the laugh is on you .
