After doing a bridge it's important to do 3 sit ups or sth like that! Especially if you're not used to this position...

Alex Robles i think it’s to release any tension in your back. Sit ups bend your back the other way. You could also hold the child’s pose for a while instead or doing sit ups.

Thanks this actually worked for me. Much better than the other video I watched. I haven’t done a bridge since I was a kid and I’m 28 so my body really didn’t want to but I’m happy to say it finally did!

Starts at :54. 1st exercise: do front & back 5 times and hold each for ten seconds. (one set equals one) 2nd exercise: do 5 times front and back and hold each for 10 seconds. (One set equals one) do the same for 3rd, 4th, & 5th.. attempt actual bridge if u can
I've been wanting to do a bridge for months!! But I've never had the strength to, also my dad was scared of me hurting my back!!! Let's hope this helps!!

@@nlsdrf1290 when you're bouncing off, the body makes kind of a bridge structure. Many people learn kip up by doing a kind of explosive bridge propelling one forward.
i almost had the bridge but my spine felt like it was gonna snap so i stopped asap. the stretches did help my back feel better

Stretching exercises will help, also perhaps your pushing yourself too far, try making it easier for your self. Also when in the bridge just relax and breathe which may relieve this problem
focus on making sure the whole foot is touching the floor and if that doesnt work try like putting the pressure on the back of ur feet
I have a tip for bridge. Yes this helps for the technicality of a bridge but if your struggling with strength (like I am) I recommend doing a core workout. It’s hard I know but I got my bridge after it and I was so happy. So if your struggling with strength I recommend doing a core (or glute) workout.

NinjaRick I know how ti do that, Im a gymnast. First, raise ur hands and make them tight and strong. Next, look at ur arms and go down. Dont be scared I feel you but them more you get used to it, the more you will be less scared. Thank me next year

Thats nice, the arm stretch was really helpful. But my problem is arm strength, not flexibility. I cant push myself up from the floor. I also cant really do pushups, so my arms are pretty weak.

I love this video. My problem is that for the first time in my life I can no longer push up with my hands/arms. I can sway my back, just can't push off the floor. I was devastated when I learned I'd lost the ability to do this! Any tips anyone?
Well, I have trouble with this too. Try pushing your butt and arms up at the same time and imagine pushing a boulder with your hips. He said you couldn't be focusing on only one thing

here are some of my tips to do a bridge.
I am not a gymnast, but I wanna be one lol
so, in the first day of attempting to do a bridge, you won't get it in that instant, so does in the 2nd day.
however in the 3rd and 4th day you can now lift your head and extend your arms, however you are not in the right form.
if you try this consistently, in the 2nd week, you can definitely do a back bridge.

Man my shoulders and upper back are much to stiff for this, i have the strength to do back bridges, but my shoulders dont want to bend that way. The exercises at 1.59 and 2.43 feel like im tearing the front of my shoulders :O all my other mobility is fine

Great tutorial. My 8 year old has given me 7 days to bridge . I couldn’t quite get my head off floor . My triceps feel too weak . I can do 10 full tricep pressups so I thought i would be strong enough 🤔
It might be because of the angle. If you're pushing up diagonally (your head is not above your hands) it's harder than if you are flexible enough to be able to align you head over your hands as you press up.

you know first I watched this video and tried to do bridge but I could not do it after a several tries then after closing the video randomly after 5 minutes I remembered he said to FOCUS so I tried it again by focusing on it and i could do it in the first try its so easy, but you gotta focuss. How do you get down from the pose though? I just learned how to do the bridge but every time I want to get down from it I get quite scared and just completely collapse on my back, any tips please?
