I love this project. I have never done sublimation, but I am very interested in it now. This box has challenged me to learn new techniques and to try new products and I am so thankful for that. Your designs have been amazing and you should be so proud of your work. This box definitely did not disappoint and each project was better than the last. You definitely outdid yourself Michael. I enjoyed spending the 12 days of Craftmas with you, Morgan and all of your crafter fans. I learned so much from you and being able to watch the tutorials and follow along while doing the projects was so helpful. Everyone’s creations were fantastic! You are so fun to craft with!
hello, why he puts the stencil under the slate and not on top so it has more contact with the heating source ??
So I’ll be using the easy press would putting a heavy book work for constant pressure? Also with the easy press do we use the pad?
I’ve being sublimating for well over 10 years now. There are a lot of conflicting videos on YT some show design face up some show face down when putting the slate under the heat press. I wasted a lot of products in the beginning following YT instructions rather than supplier recommendations. This way I held them accountable because I’m following the everything to the letter if anything goes wrong. I do have a de-humidifier in my craft room

You have out done yourself with this box. I can't wait to get all my items done. You mentioned you used makers magic to sublinate on wood. Will you be doing a tutorial on how to do that?
Did you melt your wax I see you paint it on but the wax you using is solid. I use that wax to seal my Cast projects

I have heat press not clam shell so it don’t heat that high I will go to tshirt shop and find someone to press it for me I think and best way to finish this project

My fear is that slate is known to slake and so it's so soft and easy to break. I cringed a bit when you put it on the heavy setting with the heat press, but it worked. Do I need to have extra slate on hand in case that doesn't work for me?

How can we use this project if you do not do sublimation?
Did you purchase the Mega Mystery Box? If so, you have a sublimation transfer in the box for this project. Outside of that, you may be able to find places online that sell sublimation transfers.
