Had an "episode" of old thoughts I believed I had dealt with yesterday morning. Such horrible cruel thoughts that I know know has always come up re: abandonement. "You always pick an emotionally unavailable man. You're no good at picking men. Being vulnerable to another human being intimately is too painful. You're not worth loving. You don't deserve to be in a healthy partnership. It's impossible. You were cursed from the beggining. It's your lot in this lifetime so don't bother." Crazy to think instead of pushing this away and ignoring them I just need to love and accept them. Thank you...

Hugs!!! I can’t even say in words what I want to to thank you. I’ve been in so much therapy and am a social worker and now I want to spiritually counsel people!!!!! Growing up with two npd parents and just now, at 31, facing that I just wanted to be seen and not told I was different than I felt by them whenever I’d state something about myself. They would say “no you don’t.” Or “our family isn’t that way” or “you aren’t like that girl, right.” No boundaries. So happy I will raise my future soul child to love themselves and their feelings. Hi Catgoblue... I'm reading your comment and understanding everything you sadly have have had to suffer through your ENTIRE LIFE! I believe when we are raised NPD parents we either go "one way👈 or 👉the other terms of the way our heart has chosen to be. Just like evil or completely other if the scale Empathic, I believe we have such a deeper understanding in genuine unconditional love and the truth in just how Ugly and scary REAL EVIL actually is. It's a very lonely confusing world of so many secrets and lies. We empaths see through the b.s not cuz we want to but cuz it's our sensetivity from predisposed to a traumatic life that that's now made evil recognizable in anything. My awakening has been lonely,scary, dark, hated.
