nothing wrong with hunting. it’s free food. i live in connecticut and hunt the deer, frogs, racoon, and squirrels here all the time. People who have been hunting animals for generations upon generations deserve to hunt that animal all they want. The main reason a lot of these animals they have been hunting for centuries are going extinct is bc of the europeans that used to occupy the continent killing them for sport. Many pavilions are killed by foreign hunters for sport to make boots and shit. the locals hunt them for food bc it’s their culture and some can’t afford to hunt other things. some vendors in nigeria that sell regular meat won’t even take the nigerian currency they refuse it and only take usd. not tht hard to educate ur self on the topic or talk to sm1 frm the area and learn ab it. a majority of the endangered animals bush animals south america, asia, Australia and africa are literally killed by foreign poachers.

The Palm Tree is the tree of life. Some say it is the oil tree ... but in sub Saharan Africa we know the Palm as It has oil, palm wine, raffia, thatch. can be made into ogogoro (over proof alcohol), can produce mayana oil from the nut inside the seed of the palm kennel fruit to protect against poison or facilitate health changes in humans, but those maggots that thrive off the palm tree although not one of your choices to consume are medicinal.. Haven't you seen that they are all products of that tree of life. Remember what came... before your opinion. There is a season and reason for everything. There are times when people need to eat certain things.
Definitely needs government regulation all round - pangolin endangered, though more for the scales in China and civets and primates should be off limits. All 3 episodes highly educational and non- judgmental, which is a rare attitude from Westerners.
Miss world Africa was absolutely delightful and beautiful Nigerian woman have a beauty inside and out which no doubts is a joy to view as host the smiles and hearts love them Wonderful work these series

Everywhere in United States, people eat similar,Still..I am Native American x'2 mixed with Italian, and many Black Americans are Native Americans to,were here long before Euro people. My family have books telling..Maybe culture made it here early, but nothing shocking, people eat what can fill the belly to keep children growing..Mountain people still in America eat Snapper turtle,Rattlesnake,Country raised Squirrel,Rabbit,Crawfish,muscle..The maggot they ate,are tree sap larvae, not decomposing item larvae..The Raw Blood I am not sure about, but anything else,I am game to..lol...People around the globe, ate what ever they could and pray those days of no choice never return, but if they do,we will be ready with experience..Cheers neighbor..

I literally love all these people. They're so kind and accepting. Miss Nigeria is a doll. I've subbed! What always blows my mind is the sheer size and distance between African tribes and cities. Us in the West think of Africa as a single entity, a single people. But there is such an incredible diversity of cultures and language within Africa. They can be totally different even within the same region of Africa
I'm Also shocked. I have 2 Nigerian friends in my university here in Bangladesh. I Asked them about this video and they're Shocked also 😂😂. Maybe they don't Eat bushmeats Because They're Muslims

Woah! The audio effect and enhancement in this episode is really amazing! From the sound of the snail crawling to the bird flying at 1:32 are very pleasing to hear all those details!
Wah KC sampai sini yaa 😹

What about the Vietnamese?
The owner of the stall lied, Pangolins are endangered.
Some are endangered, some are only vulnerable, we don't know which species it was, the ones in africa are less vulnerable, the species of pangolin in asia is critically endangered
Pence Streams I just searched it up and now all of them are endangered
Pence Streams All eight pangolin species are protected under national and international laws.
@@Adam-tu1zo Vulnerable is not quite endangered, the information I got is from the WWF website. Currently all eight are not considered endangered
Sadly, endangered species are not top priority in many third world countries. Humans are wired to survive.
Is funny how you come to Nigeria to let Nigerians know when they never knew existed! Kudos bro…
No no no
As a Nigerian, I'm never trying maggot 😂💔
@Abc Abc it's straight natural although they can decide to curl it.
I'd call them grubs instead. They might be halal.
I'm not sure if I'd eat them, though.
...maybe.
It tastes like chicken
Never😁😁
Definitely needs government regulation all round - pangolin endangered, though more for the scales in China and civets and primates should be off limits. All 3 episodes highly educational and non- judgmental, which is a rare attitude from Westerners.
Yeah right .. Pity pangolins
Yes i felt so sad..those r alive
You are being judgmental by saying that

Love their reaction to your story about the goat blood story ^^ Just shows, that africa is, like europe or asia, just a continent and there are many different cultures and couisines ^^
that was a hilarious reaction
Ig This is the reason why their national team is so good at football. Love from 🇮🇳
😂😂😂. Not every Nigerian eat these things
Despite the bad things going on, Africa is a continent of wonders.
Those people eat that stuff because if they didn’t, they would starve

@Frikkie Oosthuizen It wasnt a country of sickness before other nations was invovled.
I love that Sonny is so respectful, non judgemental and shows genuine enthusiasm when trying different cultures food. I am an Black American Woman and also love to try different foods. With the exception of the Lemur ( I love that children's show with the animated jumping Lemur) I probably would have also tried everything there as well. The getting sick from Bush Meat, well we had Mad Cows Disease and Sominela Outbreaks. Ecoli from vegetables constantly, so I don't see the difference...

This channel became all sorts of things instead just reviewing food, love it.
Rewatching your journey in Nigeria 3 months later is very nostalgic, considering that I was planning to relocate to South Africa, but things have changed due to the pandemic. Thank you for your videos!
I enjoy watching your videos not only admiring your shows but I’m just like traveling with you

@@achmadfaisal4452 we have a saying down here in Nigeria "Nothing dey kill black man /nigerian"
We have over 2000 tribes here, Africa can take up-to 9 billion people. Very diverse continent
