    I can't belive that this is an independent documentary! the quality! the music! the history, the data, the eye for details. Your bravery, everything! I am in awe! thank you for bringing awareness to our fellow nigerian peoples. I feel like the rift between tribes and econmic classes and religions are so wide in nigeria that it makes it hard for us to be united as a people. and this kind of content is amazing! it isn't just content, you are making history, building bridges, expanding our knowldge as a people/nation. I am very thankful for your hard work Tayo.

      I do agree that this is amazing to witness. Where I disagree is that Nigeria is a new construct in history created by white people for political reasons. You can see it's falling apart because the ancient peoples are completely different from each other, they had their own kingdoms and spiritual, political and cultural structures and were never meant to be artificially forced to be together as 'one nation' in the first place. There nothing wrong with that. Live and let live.

      China made a two Child law they have only recently changed it after two decades plus. It helped China to become th richest country in the world today. Nigeria should follow suit as it’s a badly Christian country I think that will get in the way and birth control may not be allowed. Also giving free condoms to men would help but would they use them? More women’s well being clinics need to be opened as it’s mostly women who do the birth control in the west, though some men get vasectomy’s mostly birth control pills in not sure the religion allows it’s use. condoms prevent aids which is still going around the worl not spoken of much like early days when westerners were getting it and dying now they have medicines which Nigeria should make, with all that oil they still have too many poor people. Corruption in governments and bad Influence from Britain doesn’t help either they sell their resources too cheaply. Wake up Nigeria for the sake of your children’s futures.

    This is brilliant. Imagine having a documentary about every single state in Nigeria! Lots of Nigerians never go beyond their home state except for going to university in a different state or doing nysc. We are not raised to explore our own country & it really limits the scope of perspective of the average Nigerian. It limits our ability to feel a part of something bigger than one's own ethnic group. Exposure is necessary for unity. Understanding other ethnic groups & appreciating their way of life is important for project Nigeria to suceed. More blessings to your work 🙌🏾

    • @FimisolaSamuel
      @FimisolaSamuel 3 года назад +11

      Completely second this! As a Nigerian in diaspora, I’m constantly in search of places to explore. I have come to realize how much of Nigeria I’ve yet to explore. From Chappal Waddi. To Ikogosi and the rich fauna of the south. So now my vacations are planned around exploring my own country. It hits me hard when I meet Americans who have explored more of Nigeria than I have but then I’ve explored more of US than most Americans I meet. Maybe it’s something universal that we seem not to appreciate what is ours because it’s familiar when indeed it isn’t all.

    It’s impressive to see a woman leading them in what seems macho-like . Shatters many preconceived notions in the North, Nigeria and Africa. But, in truth, historically, women have been powerful in the affairs of the region that makes up modern day Nigeria.

    I know this isn't the intended message of the video, but it really warms my heart. These people have very little, yet every single one of them is smiling and having a great time, this is a good example of how money doesn't always buy happiness, I smiled all the way threw this video, Thanks for sharing Tayo, you have a new sub.
