The Little Panda Fighter and Ratatoing were actually mocked in an episode of Gumball:
In that episode, they watch a movie called “How To Ratatoing Your Panda”, where a Panda defeats a bunch of Ninja Rats by farting on them.
So that’s where that came from

I love everything about this episode, but Adum’s treatment of “Ratatoing” (starting at 51:15) is one of the greatest things on the Internet.

I died when Ralph criticized the colors going outside the lines. It’s not so much lazy as it is a dollar-store rocky & bullwinkle. Look at the backgrounds in 101 dalmations or foster’s home, they do the same thing. I’m not even mad at that shot of the castle. For a straight-to-DVD bootleg, it’s pretty top-tier, I’d say. At least visually. Even the jokes were actually jokes.
Still there’s plenty to criticize, I’m willing to bet the movement was done through flash/puppet rigging-which is great if your goal is to make whatever as cheaply as possible, aesthetics/quality be damned.

I love (hate-) how 'Life's a Jungle' gets around the whole 'quadrupedal animals that are sometimes bipedal' thing...by just having the animals always be bipeds, even when they're running on all fours...
So instead of running like actual Rhinos, the rhinos here just kind of stiffen their limbs up and like, thrash aggressively to get where they're going-
The colour going over the lines in the puss in boots cartoon triggered a wave of nostalgia in me. The entire thing is very, very reminiscent of old french cartoons (think Pink Panther)
The human characters and the colour going over the lines are very typical of that era of french animation. Maybe it was an hommage? Still looks like shit, but they got the general feel of it down.
