I just changed a bunch of part on my 2011 Liberty and saw the same issue with the pan. I have so many issues with this Liberty that I do not even know what to do next. Not shifting out of second gear.
Same here and I bet my transmission pan looks the same! My 2012 has 100,000 and I bought it with 60k on it. Why isn't there a recall? Does it have to be dangerous in order to be recalled?
Very helpful video. I’m about to Change the trans pan on my dads 2012 Liberty. He is seeing red spots all around driveway. The original gasket definitely don’t like the synthetic oil. It’s cracking and leaking around seal. 160k miles. Other than that it’s been a good vehicle for him

What is on the inside of the new pan?
Not sure. It's tough as hell. I tried using a wire wheel to remove it from the gasket surface and it just laughed at me.
Mark Osborne should be fine then, even if for only another 70k miles 😀
