I have heard that Seulgi was actually vocalist but there was some problem with her vocal chords then she practiced dancing very hard and became main dancer of Red Velvet.

Yeah, both Wendy and Seulgi had vocal nodules. People always highlight that Seulgi had vocal nodule w/o telling that Wendy overcame the same situation is a bit bias, no? 😂
@@heleecopter ikr. wendy went through the same thing and actually even when RV debuted, she hasn't fully healed yet (yeah, she did that Happiness' bridge with nodule) to the point where Wendy's voice changed to be huskier (according to SM vocal trainer).
Only SM has the balls to have idols from each generation collaborate with each other! Nobody can come at these vocals, visuals, or dance! Also this is an interchangeable lineup with each new concept, SM confirmed it!
1st Gen: BoA (debuted in 2000; 22 years)
2nd Gen: Taeyeon and Hyoyeon of SNSD (debuted in 2007; 15 years)
3rd Gen: Wendy and Seulgi of Red Velvet (debuted in 2014; 8 years)
4th Gen: Karina and Winter of Aespa (debuted in 2020; 2 years)
I was also freaking out. 4 generations of kpop its crazy.

Seulgi already proved it in many RV songs but if I want to flex RV's vocal I will recommend "Umpah Umpah" Wendy, Joy and Seulgi simultaneously sing the main vocal parts and it's so satisfying 👌

seulgi was actually trained in vocals first ! before she actually became the main dancer of the group so yeah, that's seulgi for us !

It's just a joke... like everyone but Karina and Hyoyeon is a main vocalist so of course this song high and full of crazy vocals. And Karina and Hyoyeon had some really stand out moments. I really hope SM gives them a proper debut with an album and an MV soon.
Karina has the vocals tho but her parts didn’t highlight that part. Hyoyeon can also sing well but not as high as the others, but who knows, maybe we just never heard. Nonetheless, it’s a crazy vocal group
yes agreed!! everyone in this group is crazy talented, and they’re crazy for their dancing too. hyoyeon and karina are incredibly strong rappers and dancers. even if they aren’t main vocalists they bring insane power and energy!
also hyoyeon is the main dancer and main rapper of girls generation! she’s been established as the best female dancer of the 2nd gen (along w minzy), and i also love her vocal color (fav song is sober) :D

Wendy is the main vocalist of her group but also proves that she can be the main dancer here, just look at her charisma and energy on stage, plus the expression! she nailed singing and dancing !
SM makes the most interesting music. The first time I listen I always get weirded out and then I give it another chance and get hooked 😄

Yeah I was the same when it happened in the concert because it started at 5am for me and I didn't sleep beforehand. So when I watched it later that day still hadn't slept but felt more awake somehow and got completely destroyed by the song and all the high notes.

Actually, I love the song too (it grew on me - love the vocals, visual, performance overall, the outfits,...) and tbh I don't have that much problem with the lyrics but I saw lots of people who doesn't like it and I do understand them as well but at the same time I'm like I'm just here to enjoy the music and I enjoyed it so that's it for me. 😂

I love the vocals the most. I'm only familiar with BoA's music so I'm discovering the rest talented women here (I knew about aespa for DCT tho). Winter raspy tone is addictive and I liked Wendy's voice too, she was very consistent, she has something 🔥 and delivered throughout the song. Taeyeon hit as well a high note but the rest of her parts felt "flat" idk, still impressive stuff. BoA omg gosh, take me to church with that bridge, her presence is just hipnonitc, Legend! 🔥 The dance, a bit disappointed during the dance break as well but still so good, but BoA during the chorus dance damnit she killed that part. Her knees and foot work lmao the rest couldn't keep up 😭 well, Karina sort of did a bit of those knee moves, props to her, I'm sure in the near future she will gain that experience to level up BoA's dance, has the skills 🔥
I’m glad someone else noticed the way BoA moved her knees during that dance bit, I didn’t see the others do it so she really stood out to me. I only just recently discovered her and I love her dancing abilities, I don’t think I’ve seen anyone better in Kpop so far.

Seulgi is a powerhouse, she's an ace. She can sing and main vocalist material, some people underestimates her dancing, but she's really an amazing dancer. I can't get enough on her dance covers, they're all lit. She also can rap, I remember her catchy tone on their song 'Happiness'. Plus her visuals.

Seulgi was trained and supposed to be Main Vocal but she had health problems idk if it was her throat or nasal problems hence why she trained as Main Dancer (this info was was taken to account on 2014-2015 ish)

I agree with the promo. Their debut, in my opinion, was very strong. The members killed it and the song has been on repeat. However, the amount of promo that they got considering they have 4 generations of girl idols there, was VERY disappointing.
