- Greetings citizens of Gotham and inmates of Arkham. For this episode of "Secrets of Arkham", we're heading to the slums of Gotham, otherwise known as Arkham City. What secrets could there be inside a prison such as this? Watch this episode to find out!
If you've detected any Easter Eggs that you think I should cover in future videos, let me know in the comments, and I will be sure to credit you!
I hope you enjoyed this video! If so, please like, share, comment, and SUBSCRIBE!!!
I miss Batman Arkham City when this game came out I was in high school and then went Batman Arkham Asylum came out 2 years before I was in Middle School it's crazy how much time has passed since then I remember Batman Arkham City and Batman Arkham Asylum being my favorite games in the series and still is to this day
3:53 spoilers! But- we all played this amazing game. You can hear the Joker coughing, hinting to the fact Clayface is posing as him with the real clown holding the camera. This game has a ton of foreshadowing revolving around the twist! My favourite is in the Steel Mill when Harley stops you from accessing their room early. Before leaving the area to look for another way in, she says something to the Joker along the lines of, "Mr. J! It's you! ...wait... I forgot... you're not him."
Very true! I’ll likely cover those in one of the upcoming Arkham City episodes!
“Oh mistah J, you look perfect! Oh no, it’s not you is it..?”
My personal favorite is that Clayface addresses Batman as Batman while the real one calls him Bats
the robots in wondercity were being gathered up by jokers men and they're the same robots you fight as robin in the dlc
If it goes back to how It was what happens
I saw somewhere someone mentioned the pile of robots could be the ones used by Harley in the dlc.
Or riddler in Knight
@@BoneSoldier0 I'm pretty sure Riddler has built those on his own
The love I got for this game series extends all the way back to my childhood and I’m just glad the love is still there from other people
Much like your Asylum episode, this one was a fun mix of nostalgia and learning something new. I had no idea about the cut Talia screens, and it was nice to see Paul Dini get a shoutout. Batman: The Animated Series was the work that got me loving Batman stories in the first place. Once again, it's really cool to see how much love and care Rocksteady put into these games. I'm looking forward to the next one!
I’m glad you enjoyed this episode PK! BTAS was what got me loving Batman stories as well, and it’s nice to see that similar style alive and well in games like these.
The line about it all endng in a church may also have been a reference to what was gonna happen in Arkham Origins. That game ended in a church. Rocksteady and WB Montreal would have been sharing details of Arkham Origins' story, so I don't think it's that much of a stretch.
Good point
So glad you didn’t stretch this video out 10-30 mins like most people do.
No problem! I try not to make the videos too long. That way, it’s easy for someone to watch if they’re on a clock of sorts. Glad you enjoyed it!
This game was completely mesmerizing to me as a kid, it was one of those rare pieces of media that caught all of my imagination and made me feel like I really was the Batman. Even when I replay it now it makes me feel like a kid again.
The second actually has reasoning behind it. Joker sent thugs to retrieve the robots but they all got kill by the tiger gaurds in the predator section area. Eventually joker thugs do get the robots and that’s why they are in the Harley Quinn’s revenge dlc
Keep up the great work brooo 🌝🌝
I certainly will! Thank you for your support!
How do you not even have 800 subscribers!? You deserve so much more. Definitely sharing your channel with everyone!
Please keep this going!!!! It’s so refreshing, you’ve made me want to fire up the game again!
I’m glad you’re enjoying it! It’s certainly my goal to keep this series going!
I love the series. Recently replayed it. The story and gameplay are awesome. The only thing which was a little bit of a bummer is the textures in Batman AC, not optimized and not always loading in for xbox series x. Hopefully there will be an update
here before you blow up! keep up the gr8 work pal
Thanks a lot! Glad you’re enjoying it!
This series just kept on giving, especially this game.
Dude this whole serie of games is a big nerdy easter egg !
I love this video bro 😁
2009 - 2011 was an amazing time for games. Batman Arkham Asylum & City, Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood & Revelations, Dragon Age Origins, Elder Scrolls V Skyrim, The Saboteur, Alan Wake and many more. It was an unforgettable time to be a gamer.
Call of duty modern warfare 2?
Can’t believe he didn’t put The Hidden Killer Croc encounter in the sewers for this one! Great video tho🔥
Hello, fellow Arkham enjoyer.
If not mistaken.... The robots were piled up due to Batman using Their internal camera to find were the assassins entrance was.... Then they were throwed in the trash which Harley uses them (DLC)
That last one was _G o l d_ 😂
Much appreciated! Glad you were entertained!
Also, in the video of Joker talking about the church, you can hear the real Joker coughing while filming Clayface. Maybe that could be in a future secrets video
When clay face jokers on TV talking you can hear the real joker coughing in the background
Never knew about the wonder city bots! Interesting….
The one dialogue that always get me a lot of people don't remember is how one of the inmates, you know the scary thing about the whole thing is how scarecrow was no where insight. Pretty much the ominous warning of his attempt to revenge
Batman Arkham city my second favorite Arkham game
“They ever explain what the island was?” Is not a reference to Lost, they are referring to Arkham Island (Arkham Asylum)
I think those robots in wonder city are the same ones you fight in the Harley Quinn DLC. That's probably why they disappear.
What I lately realized is that the room we fight with Ra's Al Ghul, it's directly under Theatre
I'm pretty sure Batman and Joker also have their last fight in a church in Arkham Origins.
Riddler took the wonder bots and used them in AK
I like to think Harley sent some goons down to wonder avenue to collect the robots. then we see them in Harley Quinn's revenge
The robots were piled up and taken, because Harley and her goons made them into Joker bots.
for a single player game this story has amazing foreshadowing
100% agree!
4:30 Just heard that one tonight. I thought he was mentioning Arkham Island, which confused me.
I believe it was meant to be a double entendre, referencing both Arkham Island, and the series “Lost”.
Riddler has to be the robots
2:55 Harley Quinn uses the robots in Harley Quinn’s Revenge
The how come it all ended in a church could also be a reference to arkham origins because of the arkham remastered games
Great content, I recently found an easter egg in Gotham Courthouse…. Can you find it? Answers on post cards. 😉
Good luck
Love this game sooo much
Sucks it’s only based on one night
And didn’t make sequels with the same style
Arkham knight is really cool too
But they excluded boss fights
And focused on batmobile missions
Talia's are some of the least interesting game over dialogue I've seen. It was probably cut for being generic.
When the fake joker is being video taped talking about the show lost....you can hear the real joker cough...he is taping the fake joker
That’s a detail that I will be covering down the line!
Why’s the frame-rate so bad lol?
How tf is the robot pile a secret? 😂
Arkham: Arkham City
Joypad Jake
Didn’t forget it. Just going to cover it in a later episode. Wasn’t in my plan for this one.
@@JoypadJake oh ok great content
@@JoypadJakeI’ll rename the comment so no one sees.
@@JoypadJake and also there’s a one that if you go to the gcpd after you get the bat suit
I hate when tik tok steals vines
Arkham franchise carried dc gaming they manage to do better every game especially knight
