    got one for myself back in summer for £380 , which is a complete bargain, it's been around 10 months now, and still works like a gem, with 0 issues. However i was just checking their current prices on the internet, and they seem out of stock everywhere, its possible that they stopped making them, which is a shame

    I’m going to get this monitor however I’m wondering do I have to use the hdmi that comes with the monitor or just use the one with my Xbox series x

    Can anyone confirm if their monitor has a low buzzing now? It's driving me insane! Also, HDR worked on my old electriq monitor with my laptop but this one flashes when I turn HDR on.

    Better than the Samsung g70a 28 inch? Which is currently £425 for the xbox series x

  • @7302ab
    @7302ab Год назад +1

    to be fair electriq do a 28" 4k 144hz with a better spec than this 1ms versus 7ms on the 32" and from what i can see this one you are reviewing has a lot more light leakage on it

      Thanks for saying this man. Just looked at this one it looks much better. I wasn’t sure about dropping 4 inches but I never even realised how big 28inch actually is

    I’ve read that this monitor has a fan that’s quite noisy? Can you clarify this please?

    Are you sure you can play games on Xbox Series S in 4k? I was going to upgrade to an Xbox Series X but if this can run 4k I wont buy the Series X.

    I’ve literally just placed an order for this monitor at steal for £310 with Next Day delivery!
    Really looking forward this being paired with my PS5.
    I went from the family 60Hz 4KTV to a 60Hz FHD monitor and then to a 120Hz FHD monitor and those were some brilliant changes for me and FPS games but will be spectacular to get back to 4k and retain the 120Hz!
    Should be a good entry point 🤙🏻

      What site did you buy it from? The link in the description only has it for £400. Also how are you finding it? Planning to use it for the ps5

    • @ToothlessJustin
      @ToothlessJustin Год назад

      @@Vase00 I got it from Laptops Direct, refurbished grade A1.
      It’s brilliant with the PS5. The HDR isn’t great so I rarely bother with games like MW2 and audio is always through the headphones so it literally is perfect 👍🏻

      Hi how are you getting on with this monitor? I’m struggling to get the colour right win the settings

    • @ToothlessJustin
      @ToothlessJustin Год назад

      @@jaredlloyd314 I’m doing well so far. To be completely honest though I would say that the addition of HDR is pretty useless as it’s only HDR400 which yields a pretty washed-out colour. I play COD a lot and i’ve turned HDR off completely.

    There is also a 27inch 4k 144hz monitor from electriq that is cheaper. Does that monitor also pair well with xbox series x as it says it has HDMI 2.1

    • @beret4542

    Whip I am now used to a curved monitor, I would prefer a flat one. But I wouldn't never go back to a 16:9 aspect ratio. The amount of usable real estate and productive coming from a 21:9 or similar aspect ratio cannot be underestimated. Not to mention the beauty of a panoramic view for games that support it.

    • @LifeofTechUK
      @LifeofTechUK  2 года назад +1

      Oh that’s a great point! 21:9 is pretty special, and for me, a curved monitor is amazing to look at for extended periods 😄
      Thanks for checking out the video.

    • @DeejayJeanP
      @DeejayJeanP Год назад +1

      21:9 is just "real estate" chopped off the top, and brought to the sides. I think saying it has more real estate is false. To each their own tho.

    This is a great budget 4K Monitor, currently priced at £399.97 on Laptops Direct. My number 1 option is still the LG UltraGear 32GP850, cos it got USB ports available and it is 1440p, 165Hz and 1MS response time, but that is currently priced at £449.00 on Currys. So I think I will save up for the LG instead.
