Level you hyped the hell out of Micah when he committed. Our program had never seen a guy like this yada yada. So yeah, that shaped perceptions man

I'm still honestly surprised though about micah hudson. i figured being about of so many NIL deals tied either to Lubbock or the Patrick mahomes deal essentially made him a franchise player but i guess stuff under the surface and admittedly some miss management by Tech has produced this. i mean for example he got i think 8 receptions all year as a 5 star recruit but Jkolby Williams who was the 4th string at the beginning of the year and probably would have been redshirted and not given a chance if cam'ron valdez doesn't get hurt has yards and touchdowns was a 3 star recruit.

I think it's fair to be surprised; many were. I think the only one's that will say they weren't are the ones that, all season, complained that he wasn't playing enough.
He may have just realized that he had a longer road to the 1 spot by staying than maybe he thought. Sure it was Kelley this year, but Caleb Douglas was great this year too, and Coy Eiken has his own slice of the offense carved out as well. Who do you take off the field to put Hudson in? It's just unfortunate that Micah started a bit behind because of a couple injuries.

@@doubletsportsnetwork I don't think you put him ahead of any of those guys but I do think if he wasn't really going to play then sure would have liked to redshirt him to save his eligibility. I know alot of fans wouldn't have liked that but I think it would have been a good thing to do when they realized he wasn't going to pick up the positions the way he needed to, to play and his fall health issues should have been in the coaches mind. But hey hindsight is 20/20.

If you’re hurt and can’t play, it’s hard to earn a spot in the field consistently.

Firing the DC isn't going to help much if they don't get some better players on the D line. The offense isn't going to be championship quality if the O line doesn't get better.

Seems like a good fit a UT. Tech has to realize, scholarships are a one year commitment.

So it’s 50 50 he will return. Ten seconds later, so what percentage would you put on him returning?

You can’t say that Micah is the best athlete tech has ever seen and then act like nothing when he leaves. Crock of you know what

He got offered more money and wants to compete in better conferences.

@ if he couldn’t start in this conference, what makes him (or you) think he will in a “better” conference
