It was an all-time year with a letdown of an ending when it comes to the Big 12 Title game but there's still a lot left to play for. That's how I view it.
Coaching wise. When your in a big game against a big opponent. Sometimes you have to be thankful for what you get. Play strategic. With 2 minutes before half just focus 1) run some clock and 2) punt back with very little time and then 3) if if if maybe a play goes well and you go down and try to score. But realize who you are playing.
ISU has to seriously upgrade their DE and LB talent to win the league. That isn’t a shot at the current guys, but it’s reality. Our leading sack guy was Singleton with 4. LBers were serviceable all year but we need to get a stud or two in portal
I agree, although I don't know if there is any way to prepare for as many LB injuries as we had this year. If you have a quality 10-deep linebacker room and injuries don't happen, those quality LBs are going to the portal because they didn't get enough playing time. Heacock did a master class in getting replacement LBs up to speed extremely quickly.
Awesome season for ISU. Undoubtedly will have fewer injuries next year and a lot of guys with experience.
This was apparently my #3 podcast of the year in terms of listened-hours. Great work guys, keep it up! (And laces out.)
When you can win 10 games and be a bit disappointed, you’re in a great spot. Also Wicked was so good! Glad you saw it
Randle El threw the pass to Hines Ward in the Super Bowl.

Grant - where is your hoodie from?
Woody's right but they need to reseed each round like nfl.
I thought he looked more like Troy Davis
It's not a playoff..... it's an invitational.
Jeff, no hidden yards?
