Although these videos are about abuse of females by males, the opposite also happens. I too taught my sons the same. But wouldn't you know it, my eldest son ended up marrying a woman who became increasingly narcissistic ( she has an actual diagnosis of NPD now) and physically abusive as she aged. It's taken him 10 years to see her behavior for what it is, even with counseling and therapy. She would fire every marriage counselor they saw because she didn't like what they told her. Finally divorcing after 18 years.

I really believe there are no coincidences. That was divine intervention that brought her brother into the restaurant where she worked. Also, abusive people are reeeeally good at placing guilt on the victim leaving the victim to think they have to 'try harder' to fix the relationship. Also that bit when she mentioned the look on his face while strangling her, that he looked like he had thought about it before - there is research that he likely did. How wonderful that she wrote this book, and that she has endeavored to help others by educating herself on domestic and intimate partner violence / abuse and then sharing that knowledge with others while working to help those in these vicious cycles of indoctrination, mind-control, cult-like groupthink, and all other means that work to deny individuals their sovereignty and their human rights. If they do , it's usually only once, in order to manipulate the spouse. They will invent some reason to " therapist shop", so they might see several different ones, but rarely if ever the same one twice. A competent therapist would usually spot and confront a genuine NPD in the first couple of sessions with them.

I feel like I have so much to say but I can't find the words....I feel frozen. I wish I could say I'm strong enough to leave but I'm in such a fog I can't think clearly. We have been together for 8 years, married for 4. He has been addicted to drugs and is a mean alcoholic. He is finally "sober." I used to think the problems were the substances. Now I understand that he is a narcissist. I didn't even know my mother was a narcissist as well. I'm so broken and need to leave but I'm stuck. I fear I can't do this on my own. I fear what will happen if I do take my kids and go. I've tried breaking up with him and he refuses. He says he will never let me go....So at this point I'm numb and barely keeping my head above water. My children deserve a better mom. One who isn't so messed up and I feel so guilty that I can't just be normal. Jesus please help me.

I used to hear “you want to push my buttons?!” All the time. Lived on pins and needles a lot of the time. I’m convinced he is bipolar because there was a cycle. Although he would say that it was me that created the cycle! Well I’ve been remarried for 7 years now and I had not one argument that whole time. Meanwhile my ex has been arrested for DV at least twice.

Mental health professionals have done a disservice to people dealing with narcissists/sociopaths. I’ve noticed they keep saying that we can’t self diagnose our disordered relationships. These people have to be “professionally diagnosed”. Huh?! When are the disordered going to go to a mental health professional to get diagnosed?! Also, these professionals usually become flying monkeys for the disordered as the disordered lie so thoroughly and are so charming.
The professionals need to write books, go on TV, RUclips, etc on how spot the symptoms and how to safely get away from the disordered.

All i wanted as a woman is that someone from my household cook a meal for me. I cooked for everyone for 20 years and not once that they offered to do the same for me even thi i told them i wish they do it at least once. The only time they cooked was the bbq for other people coming to our home.

I don’t know where I would go .** I’m on disability because I had a nervous breakdown because of an incident involving police that had nothing to do with me. Of course he blamed me. 😮 I wanted to unalive him. 😢 I love Monk. ❤Girl you are telling my story. Good for you sweetheart! I love your story because I love that you were brave . ❤

Thank you for this. Ive seen my sexless relationships to narcissists and psychopaths for 31 years as embarrassing other than the abuse bc they denied me sex but I see now thats been a blessing considering what they can do to us sexually. I could never handle children, my body was too sick. So yes, a true blessing. No more shame.

I enjoy the videos but the music in the background is too much noise pollution. I only watch part of a video at a time because of that.

No matter what when children are involved like in this story when the father was holding the child. To push a person holding a child is absolutely a child endangerment act and that is a felony.
