A note regarding my Yun Jin vs. Bennett calculations:
These calculations were done under the assumption that Yun Jin was running around 1500 total DEF, which is actually generally lower than her average realistic total DEF. So this not only means that Bennett's superiority to Yun Jin before her c6 is lower, but it also means that Yun Jin's superiority to Bennett post-c6 becomes greater.

You also forgot itto since between his special attacks he does normal attacks that can be buffed. Yun Jin also is super enabling to nonmeta physical characters like Razor and Fichl (you even mentioned zhongli why you forgor Dog boy and Bird girl)

Yoimiya also moves around a lot when shooting. She walks out of Bennetts circle a lot. Yun Jin makes her way more mobile and allows her to finish her combos without having to dash back into Bennetts buff. She also gives access to Geo resonance with Yois other best support, Zhongli.
Or why not put the three of them together to get the pyro and geo reso if there is another geo char.
@@DadOfB01 because then you'll only have one slot left, which means either going with vape and losing CC and aoe, or going overload and losing the massive damage amp from Xingqiu/Yelan.
One thing that is important to note about Bennett's burst is its also a utility knife. Having the extra ability to heal is valuable to some players as not everybody can play perfectly, as he provides an extra safety net for the main DPS in case the shield pops.
@@that_nitish rainbow team with diona (especially C6) would be great for both, it utilizes Yun Jin's talent, plus Diona provides healing and shielding (and bonus EM) which are all the things that Yoimiya would need~
Just use Thoma instead. His shield is really good and since yoimiya attacks so fast she stacks it really quickly. He gives pyro resonance plus at c6 gives a 15% normal/charged/plunge attack damage bonus, plus since yoimiya will be far away from her target anyways Thoma cant steal her vapes. Not to mention yoimiya can also be run with retracing bolide which will further the tankyness of Thomas shields while also give yoimiya a lot of normal attack damage bonus

I never knew yun jin wasn't as common as bennett, I use her for an ayato team and she doubles his damage as opposed to bennett who gives an extra 50% damage

That's because a lot of people praised her and think Shenhe is copium when literally it's Yun Jin that has a very nice supportive ability. Unlike Shenhe who already has a meta team and element for herself. Tbh they exaggerated her potential just what meta slaves do.
Yunjin only buffs NA and doesnt heal.. Also have energy issues
I mean Bennet is probably better for ayato in AOE because yunjin buff has a trigger quota that's easily exceeded when hitting multiple enemies with single normal attacks

I love using Yunjin and Yoimiya together (also Yunjin with Ayato). throwing Yunjin and Zhongli together to get Geo resonance and then the final character is between Kazuha, Fischl or Xingqiu. Also, not having to worry about Yoimiya backing out of Bennett's circle and having to run back in during the attack chain because Yunjin's buff follows the character.
Should I even bother building Yunjin if she's not C6?
Normally, I just run Xq, Yoi, Albedo, Zhongli

@@digivagrant Her C6 is nice for increasing attack speed but i was using her with Yoimiya and Ayato before getting her c6 and the damage boost is still great, even without reactions yunjin gives a good boost. However if your Albedo is built well he can do a lot of passive damage on his own, i use Xingqiu, Albedo and Zhongli with Hutao, but with yoimiya i prefer to see her do big damage numbers on her own, plus if you get c6 in the future you will have your yunjin already built, but if you want to save the resources and your current team does well. Also if Yoimiya is your only normal attacker then maybe you can hold off on building Yunjin if you are not sure.

Yun Jin is also very strong with Eula too, there might not be a big difference since Eula already hits 25k-30k NA but she makes my Eula deal 40k-50k NA which is A LOT
Yun Jin is also good with: Razor, Fischl, Tartaglia, Rosaria, Zhongli, Xinyan, Kaeya, Keqing, Jean, and even Qiqi.
@@BulletSponge71436 I actually found out the hard way that childe and yunjin have very little synergy because when childe swaps stances to do actual damage, the damage counts as his elemental skill, not infused/empowered autos.

@@justinmathew5359 Yeah uh, Childe infused autos is NA damage and not skill. So Yun Jin does work. Only Childe's Riptide Slashes are considered Skill DMG.

I'm a Yoimiya main since her first release. I was lucky enough to get Yun Jin to C6 on her first release too. Also, just got TP for Yoimiya. I'm so happy!

Apparently, no since Childe’s sword attack is a skill and not a ‘normal attack’ so the second you switch to using riptide, the buff is not beneficial
I'm glad you briefly clicked on Diona in the flex slot for Yoimiya's vape teams! I've been using her w/ Yun Jin & Yelan and I think it's a really solid team, especially at c6. Diona shields aren't the tankiest but she can easily hold Noblesse, provide some cryo application if needed for certain shields, and in rare cases provide CC by freezing enemies w/ Yelan / Xingqui. At c6 the extra 200 EM is great for large vaporizes and since Yoimiya's pyro application be slower than average, there are rare cases where Cryo is applied before a hit, allowing a few Melt hits in. It's rare and inconsistent, certainly, but it's certainly welcome when it does happen. And for Yun Jin & Yelan, both benefit from having a rainbow team through their passives which probably isn't the biggest buff but another small but welcome addition. Diona in that team adds a lot of small buffs but they really add up, making her a solid substitute if you don't have Zhongli or need him on another team
I crowned Yun Jin's burst without question as soon as I fully ascended her, I really hope to get her to C6 on this next banner, my Yoimiya's gonna be so much stronger from this patch onward
Also I've used the overvape team for a bit (the Fischl variant) and it's really fun. I like to put 4pc TotM on Fischl for extra ATK buff, and also to boost the shield strength (if at all) of Yun Jin's crystallize shields.

I might’ve said this in another vid but I love those two with Zhongli and Kokomi. Geo res and shred is nice, plus the jellyfish application is enough to reliably vape the correct hits. There’s also several sets and weapons they can hold to benefit the team easily. Very cozy.
How do you vape the correct normal attack?
@@Miguel-yn6nw The fastest, sure fire way is one normal into the skill. Yoimiya is the last in the rotation set up so by the time she’s attacking, them enemy has hydro on them and it gets applied consistently.
@@jonathanrobinson198 well kokomi can heal and give psychial dmg too with her artifact but kokomi is better on ganyu and ayaka because she not give that much dmg as xingqiu does also if you play yoimiya with yelan she will give yoimiya buff making yoimiya dmg higher. As for kokomi i use her in my ayaka team she the best hydro aplicator kinda waste if you pair her with pyro

Hey! I've been really enjoying your character guide videos and find them the most informative and easiest to understand compared to other guide videos. I was wondering if you had any plans to make a video on Ayato. Or if not any time soon if there's any Ayato guides (specifically teams and such) you would suggest? Ayato and Kazuha are the only 5-star characters I've enjoyed playing so far and have invested a lot of time into but I can't seem to find a team I like for Ayato. I'm not worried about building a team for him right away though which is why I'm asking about a potential video or your personal suggestions for guides I could watch or read. Excited to see more of your guide videos in general! (Personal fave is your Thoma one)

Great showcase, Yoimia so simple and enjoyable to play. This is the only unit i would love to have c2 and signature weapon, but as f2p and sumeru i can't just spend all my primos and it's hurts.
I got her super fast on release and i know some day I will unlesh her god's potential.
In other games, slow but heavy attackers usually benefit more from multiplicative buffs (ATK% and Vape/Melt) while fast attackers benefit more from flat added damage. Since the flat damage boost is constant no matter how big or small your damage is, weaker attacks benefit more from it than stronger attacks. Fast attackers like Yoimiya and Ayato usually have "lower" scalings per normal attack for game balance. With that in mind, I thought that they should be paired with Yun Jin, who gives not only an additive buff to your normal attack DMG, but also attack speed at C6, which is also important as also mentioned in the video.
We'll see more of this kind of buff with Catalyze later on, which adds to the triggering (Dendro or Electro) character's DMG based on their EM.
Really looking forward to getting Yoimiya and trying all of these teams, and Im glad Yun Jin is also in the banner since mine is only C1, really hope I can get C6 since thats where she really shines.
One thing I wish you had mentioned when talking about anemo supports is C2 Jean. I know people dont usually talk about 5 star constellations but Jean is a standard character and lots of people will have that by now, my own being C4 already. C2 Jean provides VV shred and a whooping 15% atk speed, even more than Yun Jin C6, which apparently makes her just as good as Kazuha as far as buffing Yoimiya goes, and you get extra healing on top of it (and I equip mine with Favonius Sword so she is ALSO a battery on top of all that). In fact Im thinking Bennett + Jean + Yun Jin would be super fun, 27% attack speed and Sunfire aura going off while you do your thing with Yoimiya, definitely one of the teams I wanna try the most and I havent seen it anywhere.

If you're using Beidou or Yelan in the team with Yoi and Yunjin Fav Lance outvalues the other options for yunjin simply by helping them get their bursts back easier and reducing yunjin's own er requirements by a significant amount especially at higher refines

Great video. And great comparision. Thats exactly the reason my Yoimiya since I have Yun Jin only plays with her. She is just too good. Just be mindful of mobile users who cannot read A4 sized papers with fontsize 12 that easily. Maybe it is better to attach them as links in your description and just show the keynumbers.

I really love Yunjin. She makes Tartaglia Normal attacks atleast closer to a base Ayato that doesn't have support in a Single Target Situations.
still sad that if you put eitrher Fischl C6 or Xiangling with childe, they will do way more dmg than him even if hyper invested...
at that point just use kazuha and bennet with xiangling and you will do way more dmg that with Childe. got him on his first apparence and i still get frustated for how it turned around...

Noelle : some might disagree with me but i prefer to put her as a shield and healer, her heal is based on her defense which you really shoild build chunky noelle, don't put much effort into healing effectiveness just put 2 pieces maiden main stat def% and get free 15% healling effectiveness, about the other 3 pieces, there a set a forget his name gives 30% def put it and the last piece put anything def % main stat.
If you're concerned about shield strength it'll be buffed by gro resonance, if still concerned then you can replace the set of 30% def with another set called husk something found in inzuma which gives you percentage of shield strength, how much i forgot but surely more than 20%
Note : this team might change so if you have a note put it in a reply and I'll be appreciative for the advice.

Pluuus, that team comp annihilates the golden wolf xD I don't even have the most insane versions of them and they wreck house. Did just struggle trying to test them out in the first half of chamber 3 on floor 12 though (Did fine on the other chambers but mirror maiden and frost fatui are evil).
I have had a C6 Yun Jin dusting on the shelf, but now it seems like I have finally use for her, since I just pulled Yoimiya! :)
Didn't see a mention of it but if you have c2 Jean and C6 Yun Jin, all need is a shielder to have her fire unbelievably fast.

I have been on the fence about building Yun Jin. I like the character and I have a fully built Noelle so that would have made sense but couldn't justify the investment since she already has a lot of decent supports.
But well. Now that I got Yoimiya, this video mostly sold me on the idea. But I don't usually have a need for Bennett on two teams so I'm still a bit skeptical about the value of the investment to max out Yun Jin, both for talents/levels and artifacts.

I know this is a weird request but, Can you cover the Universal God Combo Bennett-Xiangling? I don't know if you already covered it or not. But most of your team comp suggestions for recent characters always have a variant of a National Team. Even by other RUclipsrs. But for every National team, the two characters that are irreplaceable was Bennett and Xiangling. And I just realized that almost half of team recommendations is a variant of Bennett and Xiangling team. They can fit almost any character for third slot and still build a very good combo even with little synergy with that third character. There is the standard Melt comp for Cryo 3rd or 4th slot, DoubleGeo+DoublePyro, standard Vaporize Comp for Hydro 3rd slot, Mono Pyro for Anemo 3rd slot, and standard Overload for Electro 3rd slot just a few of other team comps they are used. And even what constellations they are, they still synch with each other without any problem.
All we need is a polearm with a defense substat with ER passive. That is going to be OP.

Great video, really motivated me to farm artifacts for my Yoimiya team (was too frustrating so far and also didn't know which set is best on Yoimiya. Every guide said something different about this). Unfortunately in the video you didn't show Yoimiya's stats for Energy Recharge, Crit Rate and Crit DMG, could you tell me those stats please? Would be a great guide when farming artifacts.
Now that we got the 3rd sumeru trailer.... this bird funghi is most likely a new overworld boss where we will gather ascention materials (for tighnari and collei I assume) so Im quite confident that those two can be great to farm this boss. Since its probably going to be a single mob. If they make it split imma cry

See, I already planned to pull on Yoimiyas banner but I used to be okay with the possibility of loosing the 50/50. After watching this I’m now super excited to get her.
Just got Yoimiya, 80+ 😢 but very excited to pair with Yun Jin. Got her leveled with full Husk before this. Finally can try out different team comp 😊
Fortunately i just got them both from the latest banner so this means its time to start building them
I have also considered using a team like Yoimiya, Yunjin, Albedo and either Yelan/Ayato/Xingqiu/Fischl/anemo support character/Zhongli/Bennett/Diona. Since Yunjin barely ever utilizes the crystallize reaction, Albedo could use the Archaic Petra set. Yoimiya can also use the Retracting Bolide set in case u don't have a good Shimenawa(?) Set. The last slot has a lot of flexibility bc using a character of a different element(besides Geo and Pyro) would increase Yunjin's buff passive in addition to the support they bring. I don't have a Yoimiya(ㅠㅠ go away Skyward Spine Noone likes you) but I have tried Childe and Albedo w/ the Archaic and Bolide sets and it works great
Guaranteed a Yoimiya, one constellation away from C6 Yun Jin, I CAN'T WAITT TO GET HER, IVE BEEN WAITING FOR MONTHS, AHHH
IM ALSO GUARANTEED YOIMIYA AND C5 YUN JIN
Don't forget that Yun Jin doesn't require you to stand in a place for the enemy to hit you... I'd like to add that using Yun Jin and Beidou in a tag team is fun (parry) and Yun Jin does buff Beidou's burst which I then transfer on Barbara, though Yoimia, Yelan, etc. should definitely work.
Ive had a lv40 c6 Yun Jin vibing on the bench foe SO long. Yoimiya will be another great excuse to get this nice support up and working

I have Yoimiya since her release, I love her, she is my favorite. But I couldn't ever got more than a C1 Yunjin. She is comming with her this time, but I can't take her, I'm saving for Nilou and Kusanali. Also the last time I saw Yunjin was on Ayato's banner, but I was saving for Yelan, so another lose. The crazy thing is that I spent more than 150 wishes on her release, she was with Shenhe, but I only earned 1 Yunjin there, and another free they gifted.
I like running Yun Jin with my Physical Fischl. Add in a cryo or super conduct and Zhongli and It's pretty impressive. And better yet Bennet can continue to sit on the bench (I despise using him)

What about Eula? Yun Jin at C6 she also increases atk speed. So that’s amazing for her and the more variety of elements, and adding 2 Anemo units plus C2 Jean for even more speed makes Eula insanely good with a C6 Yun Jin.

If you have great Defender's Will (4* artifacts) flower and plume, I recommended it to run 2 Husk + 2 Defender on Yun Jin for 30% + 30% Def bonus
But only in flower and plume, cause Yun Jin doesn't really benefit from HP and Attack

I kinda happy this is only about yoimiya ang yunjin. If u don't have either of them or only 1 of them means that u don't have to try so hard to get either because all it does is highlight the versatility of bennet that at the end of the day he is still likely to be best in slot in the 70-80% of teams that run abyss
YunJin is fairly new character compared to Bennett, so most players don't have many constellations on her if any. My YunJin is C2 as I wasn't lucky with my pulls the last Yoimiya Banner.
You left out Eula for the normal attack part, if you have c4 Yunjin, the speed of your stacks becomes insane, so you would want to use Yunjin for Eula
How's the Echo set compared to Shimenawa set on team with YunJin? I have the Shimenawa on Yomiya and trying to farm the Echo set for weeks without any luck. I'm about to give up.

I'm excited for her rerun in a week ish. I have her currently, but only C0. I rolled for her when she first came out. (obviously I guess) but ended up never actually playing her as I thought I would. Why? I dunno.
I've wasted resources on far too many things in this game, and even took a few months break from the game too. I made the mistake of basically not ever investing in support characters other than Diona and Sayu. I have all the characters to make a great Yoimiya team, and that is now my "returning to the game" goal. But boy is it hard. Gotta farm a TON of mora, artifacts, talent books and ascension materials.
I don't have Zhongli, Yelan or Yun Jin built yet at all. But at least I have them.
I still don't understand how you all can cheese boss fights like that though. I have yet to clear the new Raiden shogun boss because by the time I rush up to her, and start dropping skills, she's already smacked me to death with a sudden dash and sword skill. I never have the time or chance to just drop skill after skill and burst.

Yunjin is really good for Zhongli physical/cryo Zhongli. It depends on whether players are smart or not.

Candace has released, with her burst increasing elemental dmg on basic attack that scales on HP. Does that mean that the boosts will stack with Yunjin's and make Yoimiya a more effective god-slayer?
The Yoimiya, Yelan, Yun Jin, Zhongli Team, was the first team I built in my head, in which I felt like I was good at building teams. Now all thats left is my 4th attempt pulling Zhongli.
I am really tempted to get Yunjin to C6 (now C3) and grab Yoimiya 2nd Constellation now~ u.u
It is so nice building a character who only has to worry about 2 stats. Def and ER all day every day. Feels weird though having a flat Def roll being preferable to a crit roll lol
Have you ever thought about Deathmatch on Yun Jin? It's the only polearm in the game that grants additional DEF, however the passive only works in mob fights. But still in all, my R5 Deathmatch on Yun Jin making Yoimiya hit even harder, but ER is a bit of an issue with this setup.

Yoimiya with echoes of an offering? How could that go? I'm thinking to pull for her,with r5 lvl90 rust,well invested c4 yunjin and c2 viridescent jean,i think i've got a good set up for now,but echoes of an offering would do good? Because of the 20% more normal attack dmg compared to shimenawa's and being able to use burst
As the video said, shimenawa is generally better when using Yunjin but echoes and shimenawa are competitive so if you already have a good echoes set, you could use it. But echoes is only good if you have relatively low ping (
since I am a madlad and am working with what I got, I am actually using Bennett alongside Yun Jin to buff Razor and snapshotting bennett's and Yun Jin's buffs onto Xiangling's pyronado and Guoba attack, its freaking bonkers even though I am around level 40 characters and AR 26 still
9:36. I want to hear your thoughts on 4pc. Archaic Petra Yunjin. I haven’t tested it yet since I don’t have Yoimiya, but I think it will be good if not better than 4pc. Husk.
Yunjin has like 734 Base def at Level 90. Level 8 burst would have a Buff Multiplier of 51% while 61% at Level 11.
54% Def from Husk is valuable, but it will only have about 440+ Def which translates to only extra 220 Flat Damage at level 8 while 264 at Level 11 burst. While these had to undergo Yoimiya’s Pyro Elemental Bonus and CDMG, I think the +35% Pyro Damage Bonus by Archaic Petra would be more valuable since Yoimiya’s Elemental Skill and Archaic Petra’s buff lasts the same 10 seconds…

I wish i had more constellations on yunjin, i have her built, lvl 90, and she is still a very good support for yoimiya and i use her.
Don't have zhongli (and don't plan to pull on him any time soon) but i am raising thoma.
I'll probably just pull on the next yunjin banner after the next current one.
Wish I had Yun Jin. Been saving for Shen He rerun and at a very good spot to get her right now. So hopefully she doesnt come up in upcoming early banners. Best case for me is having her on the same banner.
Yun Jin and Bennet are essentially end game must for challenge/boss events considering how much power spike they give to your team (especially with c6 yun jin). They effectively make any top damage dealers exceed the limit possibilities of what shouldn't be possible.
it really depend too much on the line up and event buff, on this event the first section i went with kazuha, siblings and the sis (Rosaria), and they were better that any other team i could make, simply because is an extremely quick swap team, with lots of crit stats and tons of energy, Ayaka was always criting with her burst (witrh resonace, and Rosaria buff and 4p set i get more than 100% CR) with around 300% CD, with Kazuha iron sting and VV set cryo swirl, with 50% burst bonus on top... Ayaka burst was really deadly
on the second hutao vapo team wasn't enought DPS so i had to rely on XQ bennet, xiangling, kazuha (international) to do it
stil haven't tried the 3rd one, but the buff make a huge impact on the team composition and not always Bennet is what you really want
(another example is mono geo with gorou C6 that can provide more that any geo carry requested or what bennet can offer)
Unfortunately, I have to skip yoimiya banner. I have yoimiya already and I REALLY want Yunjin but I'm saving for Eula and my pity is 61 from all my kazuha pulls. It's too close for comfort💀. I don't really desire a c1 Yoimiya either.
I have both her and Yoimiya I'm struggling to complete Abyss cause her damage is kinda low as even tho I'm running Rust with 71-202 crit ratio or something like that, I don't have a good Pyro Goblet so running attk one, was using her team with Yelan, Zhongli and Nahida as Burgeon or double vape with Yelan, Xingqiu and Zhongli so this gave me alot of confidence to build Yun Jin and she's C1 and i'm planning to get her C2 as Lantern Rite's reward
I'm guaranteed Yoimiya and my Yunjin is C5, I'm hoping I get C6 Yunjin and Yoimiya in the second banner of 4.3 🙌🏽
wasnt yoimiya planed to be a inazuma character relased on liyue)? some 5* characters have a matching looking set, yae is shimenawa, ei is severed emblem, venti is viridescent, yoimiya desing fits with retracing bolide a liyue artifact with inazuma lore
