And Mihoyo use the dollars to hires a lot of online users to praise Genshin by verbal abusing characters in everyother games, which attracts more players from other games to play Genshin and send dollars to Mihoyo. The loop poisons PC games community when pc game developers notice Mihoyo earning dollars, give up developing PC games and start to develop gacha games without innovation like Genshit Trashpact.
I’m running her in what I like to call Y comp (Yelan, Yoimiya, Yanfei, Yun Jin) and it’s really quite fun. I do think I need more ER to help Tankfei get her burst more consistently but so far it feels like a solid team! Yoi was my first five star ever so I have a huge soft spot for her. She’s so precious. 🥺💕

finally, someone who mentioned the 3 star bow Slingshot as recommended weapon. Not everyone has rust nor have enough billets to use for Hamayumi and I'm glad you shed light to Slingshot as a starter bow for Yoimiya

Gotta admit I totally fell in love with her the moment I laid my eyes upon her. Kana Ueda, her Japanese voice actress does a fine job at selling this big hearted bubbly fireworks crafter. I use her on a 4pc Shimenawa set with an R5 Rust in a vaporize team.
This time... In 4.3, I will get Yoimiya.
And hopefully, She will come home early.

I love running Yoimiya on a double pyro+double geo team with Yoimiya+Zhongli+Bennett+Yunjin. It's super comfy to play, pyro resonance+geo resonance is a powerful combo, and Yoimiya's teammates give her plenty of buffs.
I'll be pulling for Yoimiya cons when her banner drops. Hopefully I can get C2!
I absolutely love Yoimiya's playstyle and her cheery, bubbly personality makes me like her even more. It is a shame she is overshadowed by other characters and is skipped for Raiden and soon, Sumeru characters. She is very underappreciated and I wish more people would give her a shot in her banner. Yoimiya haver here. She's loud, hyper, and kind -- I loved her ever since I did her quest. Still struggling a bit to get her to her best potential. I have bad luck with artifacts but I have both an r1 skyward harp and r5 rust for her. Currently using skyward harp on her coz my crit luck is bad. But i will still farm for her.

Yoimiya is one of the characters that makes me wish for an artifact load-out functionality. She has so many viable sets to choose from that I would love to play around with. I'm using 4pc CW, but I can easily throw together a strong Shimenawa set thanks to spending a billion resin farming that domain. I also have some decent Echoes pieces from farming for Xiao.
4pc Bolide when used with a shield er is another amazing option, I agree she's very flexible with her artifacts :)

Been a yoi main since her release.
Mad that she keeps getting hurt by Mihoyo weird business choices. WGS + TP banner wouldve been wild, couldve bumped up her sales.
But if her sales are low, that means shes rare and only her real fans will have her, so its the best of a bad situation

And thank you very much for giving a new insight to her burst. I didn't knew that about her besides exploding after another character kills an enemy. You are the only one at this moment to bestowing us a different perspective to her burst. And one that doesn't discourage us from using it.
Her idle animation got me into playing Genshin. She's my main from the very beginning, now maxed out with a Rust and love her to bits:)
As a proud Yoimiya haver I was always experimenting with several team comps but it’s great to just have a whole list of them provided here. And it is a way longer and more flexible list than I expected.

I'm running Yoimiya with Fischl, Zhongli and Xingqiu. It's an extremely fun team with lots of numbers and fast click spam. Currently running 2p Gladiator 2p Shimenawa but planning to get 4p Bolide for her because it works in that team and it looks really cute on her!

When I skipped her at the start of Inazuma for the Shogun, I swore to wish for her if she gets a rerun. She didn't take that lightly, and dashed through a 50/50 at around 75 pity, right into my arms. Thanks Yoimiya, you are great!

I've run Yoimiya on a number of different teams over the year I've had her. I've been known to spite Xingqui as a character so I used her in an Overload team for a long time with Fischl and 2 flex slots that kept changing. Nowadays I use Yelan with her in an Overvape team with the other two slots changing all the time. I love how flexible her team options are. It's very easy to just change playstyles on a whim and still be effective. I can't wait to slot a Dendro character into my Overvape Yoimiya team and see what happens.

Honestly, this highlights just how great Yoimiya is. Both of her banners are sandwiched between very popular and anticipated banners, making people just skip or not have the primos for her.
Is she going to give you big giant massive damage per screenshot? No.
But she has immense flexibility. Overload? vape? bennet? Yunjin? Different sets and weapons? Invest in her burst or even just ignore it? You have a ton of options with her. And she's really comfortable to play!
No jump canceling, no chasing down enemies, no complaining about enemies that fly around. Just e then click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click q and switch. Constellations don't change anything.
Also sure, she's not going to have some big damage per screenshot, but who cares when you can just make an immense number of attacks super quickly.
Good for bosses, which we often find in spiral abyss anyways.
Very comfortable to play, f2p friendly.

Finally pulled Yoimiya today. My only 5 star before was Yelan, and I also had Yun Jin on my team. So now with Yoimiya joining them it's really coming together as a proper team.

Thanks for the video! I 36 *'d the abyss today using hu tao and had quite a bit of trouble with the two cryogunners and mirror maiden and decided after that to pull for yoimiya. I only have r1 rust and she's only level 80 so far but +220 CV from just random shimenawa pieces I've collected over time and only rust r1 but her damage is absolutely nutty. I definitely enjoy playing her so far!
I have 150 wishes saved for yoimiya, I have an r1 rust which I hope to get refinements on, a 4pc shim set, and I plan on using her in overvape melt team comp with fischl, xingqiu, and diona or a standard vape team comp with yun jin, xingqiu and diona.
I also hope to c6 my yun jin

Just to put my experience equipping her using the Genshin Optimizer. Restricting to so it doesn't use the 4 shim set, it actually used 2 atk% and 2 wonderes . So again sub-stats rain supreme !

Who else has been maining her since her release and came by to see how much of the misconceptions about her have been corrected. I am just glad you mentioned slingshot and didn’t dote on her “icd problem” which was never a problem to those who actually play her to begin with. You mentioned so many viable comps that I personally tried (except kazuha and fischl) but I just wanted to add one to the mix and that would be XL/XQ/Jean. This team may not be considered meta but it is actually pretty darn strong. Xiangling doesnt steal as much vapes as you would think and has pretty good team dmg, a shielder is not that much of a problem due to interruption resistance and its fine to take a couple hits since you have a good healer. This team actually carried me when my Zhongli Bennet and Sucrose were tied to my other team and yelan and yunjin wasnt out yet so just wanted to mention it

I currently run Yoimiya with a 2pc Crimson + 2pc Glad in an overload comp. I have her in an overload comp with Shinobu as my electro applicator (and healer), Kazuha with VV for grouping, and Zhongli for shields but he'll be replaced by Thoma soon in favor of Pyro Resonance.
You made an amazing guide and I really appreciate the effort that went into this for one of my favorite characters in the game. For the first time ever, I sat down and took detailed notes so I have easy reference material in OneNote for myself later.

I'm so excited to pull her Yoimiya. I'm AR56 and still haven't pulled a Rust so I decided to grab a Viridescent Hunt from the current BP to use in the interim. The grouping passive is pretty fun (I tested it on Amber). I'm still undecided on artifacts but that's part of the fun, getting to experiment.
I'm thinking of teaming her with Raiden for her companion attacks.

I have had a good echoes of the offering set for a while and I absolutely prefer it over the alternatives; the RNG factor is often exaggerated as Yoimiya attacks so fast, it evens out pretty well every rotation. But given that much of the Yoimiya community had already farmed great shimenawa pieces before this set came, I fear that this set never got the same recognition even though it is overall preferable to Shimenawa.
I can farm echoes for her I already have shime just tell me is echoes worth it if yes I will farm it
i tried farming echoes but i gave up cause the other set is useless for me as i dont have xiao. for now im using shimenawa but idk what ill do once i get thundering pulse, maybe that will finally motivate me to go and farm it.
i'd farm echoes, but my ping is often in the yellows and rarely in the greens, so im worried that it wouldnt work very well.
also, i still need to farm emblem set for alot of my units (raiden, xingqiu, beidou, etc) so farming said domain works well for me LOL
The biggest problem with echoes is the ping bug. Many players only get yellow or higher ping including me always playing on yellow ping. Second problem is how resin inefficient the domain is. That domain is only the best for Xiao. Third problem is that when you play vape yoimiya Echoes RNG play a huge part of her dmg and by getting bad RNG, it can significantly decrease Yoimiya's DPS making echoes set very risky and unfavourable options. If you use reaction use crimson. If you don't use reactions use lavawalker. There're just 2 best options.
@@yummimainbecausenomousejus5087 absolutely not, if you have 4pc set of shim don't bother. the amount of farming another set when you have 1 already is never justifiable. i was using the 4pc shim on my hutao, now I gave my hutao 2pc wanderers and 2pc tenacity and the 4pc shim is going on to yoimiya. btw the shim set was enough for my hutao to clear abyss 12 9*, let the min maxers cry about the dps loss but in the long run its always better to invest in other chars rather than wasting on someone who you already have artifacts for.

I find she really fun to use. My build is 4pc Shim with r5 rust. Most fun team comp I've discovered is Her, Yelan, Kokomi and Kazuha.
Btw if you don't have Yelan and Xingqiu is in another team you can use Kokomi. The damage is lower cuz of lack of buff, but in exchange you get a great healer and won't have to worry about Yoimiya's fragility as much.
So glad I found a guide that didn't have Bennett as a focal point. As although I understand Bennett is absolutely cracked with Yoimiya, he is also essential for energy requirements on Xiangling in Rational/International.

It's pretty challenging to use bennett with yoimiya since she tends to move out of his circle while shooting. Yun jin is more comfortable to use though you'll have to sacrifice some dmg (I tested c6 vs c6 and bennett's buffs are stronger). Still, yoimiya gives you a reason to use benny on the other team in the abyss which is convenient.

I still trying to get kazuha but if I don't I'm definitely going to get her. With sumeru coming, burning reactions would be fire. I also have her artifacts and good weapons for her, even team comps, just need to build yun jin tho(yoimiya, xingqiu, yunjin, and bennett is nice)
My Yoimiya has an Echoes of an Offering set with 31 good substat rolls, and my ping is almost 100% of the time sub 25. Also, R5 Rust. Also also, crowned normal attacks. She's my go to whenever I'm getting frustrated at an Abyss floor with bosses or a few big enemies
For overloads, if your partner is fischl, you can sandwich enemies between oz and yourself. If positioned right this can cause enemies to pinball from you to oz then back to you.

A critical part of Yoimiya on Overload or Overvape teams is to deliberately SLOW DOWN her normal attack strings. Pause just a beat or two and you will keep her combo string. She'll miss smaller enemies if you go full speed.
Slowing down her normals has the added bonus that she will flawlessly juggle enemies instead, and with enough practice, they'll go as high in the air as Jean can throw them.
You can still go full speed on enemies and bosses that she won't knock back.
I can't believe it but I just got Yoimiya early and while greeding for Yun Jin constellations I got Jean at 11 pity! I'll be checking out your guide for her next! :)

I ended up with a pretty good shimenawa's set for yoimiya just by building yelan right as I realized I needed to rebuild my xingqiu as well. My current plan for her is to put her in a team with albedo, yelan, and zhongli. I know albedo isn't the best option for her, but he's been my main since his 2.3 rerun, plus he deals a good amount of damage and the EM buff his burst gives is still very useful
Counting the hours before her banner, i am sure i am going to have a ton of fun with her !

In vape teams, Yoimiya's Normal Attack ICD is not really an issue (although it would have potentially be better if it vaporized every hit). If you think about it, Hu Tao can do 8-10 vaped charged attacks during her infusion period while Yoimiya can do 9 vaporized attacks in hers too
But hutao is vaping her highest scaling hit everytime vs yoi who ocassionally vapes the 1st attack
I've had yoimiya since her first banner and she's still on triple attack because I've never gotten a good pyro goblet😭😭 That being said she's the Main DPS I use the most! ( I have hu tao and ganyu) She's so much fun and I really recommend her to anyone who missed her the first time around!

Hanayumi is quite good, but you have to delay the use of the burst in order to use the pasive effectively.
I can’t believe I finally got her on my re-roll, Archer/Catalyst Impact, account lol! She’s really fun! If I didn’t have a C6 Yanfei on my main account I’d pull for her there too but I’m looking forward to Alheitham and saving up.
My current comp is Yoi Yelan Xq YJ. Though it is a high risk high reward (high investment too with r1 yoi, c1r1 yelan, C6r2 pjc xq, c6r5 fav lance yj). It's pretty solid, I always finish my first rotation on raiden boss with her at around 20-30% hp. Currently waiting for the rerun banner to come up so that I can finally c2 my yoi 🥰
I'm pulling for Yoimiya. I've already got an R4 Rust that I'm not using (and im sure I can get it to R5 one day), and she's been one of my favorite characters ever since I started playing last december. Plannig to use my C6 Yunjin with her as well as Thoma since I dont have any other shielder (no diona or zhongli). Very excited to have fireworks girl :)

Can't wait to have her. I have enough for just about soft pity and if I get her, I'm gonna be pumped! I only ever use Hu Tao or my Kazuha/Bennett/Xiangling for Pyro output. Having a ranged Pyro character going into Sumeru will be great.
But also if I don't get her, it's not the end of the world (I'll be sad lol) and I'll just get a guaranteed character from Sumeru
