not when bennet has an aquila , and yomiya a rust R5, i play since 1 month after the game came out, nd my rust is R3 XD also i don't have aquila for bennet , so my yoimiya damage is much less, also those are some godly artifacts. best i can do is 50 190 or 80 130 or so. Its not really "honest" to showcase a char damage when so many things to actually do that damage are either Rng or pretty hard to get.

@@gautamsatheeshnair9641 Hey! I think the only difference is I have a ton of EM (around 40% reaction bonus dmg) and Sucrose buff with tales of dragon slayer. I dont have kazuha so theres that too. Also, the 200+ hit was achieved using food buffs (and I think the PMA in weakened state takes extra dmg).

I wanted her so much, but my Kazuha pulls were unlucky as is possible to be, and now I have nothing for her banner. If I had skip Yelan, Yoimiya would be possible, but Yelan is so good too. And she is the only 5* pyro charater I actually like the gameplay too.

Saved for a 10pull in Yoimiya banner and only got Xinyan, that already was C6 since last year. I dont have luck to get a early 5* and wining the 50/50 too. Have fun with Yoimiya, she is really good, maybe next time I get her.

At least get me enough luck to get one of those. I have already reached high refinements on trash weapons and characters i dont use. The fun part is ... most "ignored" units aren't summoned because they arent as good as other options. A LOT of people seem to care only about performance instead of design, personality, fun, ...everything else really. Eventough this game is way to easy anyway. The fun part is: Yoimiya isnt bad at all. I would even go so far that, with the right support, she is better against single target DPS then Hu Tao.
As a Yoimiya main and somebody who makes showcase videos of what she can do, it makes me very happy to see how much more welcoming the the community seems to be for her this time around.
@@shaykirby5910 I have been clearing abyss 36 star with Yoimiya for the last 3 or 4 abyss rotations and I am f2p too. You don't need Zhongli to play her. I cleared abyss with Beidou, Xingqui and Bennett. Also if you are going to make that argument then you can say the same about Hu tao and melt Ganyu.
Side note: while Yoimiya’s CA is pretty bad for damage, you can use the homing shot effect to hit around the big hillichurl shields. This could be useful for players who might not be able to destroy those very easily
C0 with 4-Star "common" weapon videos do feel a lot more useful and relatable than C6 with 5-Star weapons. C6 and R5 stuff is more just for "entertainment" than anything else. This definitely deserves the thumbs up approval!
I would say c6r1 is pretty achievable for welkin players though. Those videos are good to have to know if getting multiple cons is worth as a welkin player
@@oh-noe I can only speak from personal experience. I've been playing since release, and I do buy Welkin every month, and BP more often than not and I'm still missing 2 characters even with those paid bonuses. I have no wishes left for constellations or signature weapons (though I got lucky enough to accidentally get C1 for Albedo and Raiden). Making a character C6 with her signature weapon would likely mean skipping at least 4 or 5 (new) characters, so it sounds unreasonable (to me) as it would completely kill the enjoyment of exploring a new character and their combos and teams.
@@eonizen for a welkin player it is of course a waiting game. 4-5 banners of the same character should be enough. I used to be a BP player, but the last year I've only been a welkin player. I wish on literally everything, but I also wish on rerun banners of characters I like. Welkin players usually doesn't get all limited 5* anyways. So it's possible to skip those that there's not much interest in without much pain. Currently I have c2 Ayaka and I'm hoping for a c4 next rerun. Since I don't save it requires a bit of luck, but it's certainty possible, and I don't have a lack of random limited 5* either. I got c1 hu Tao too, and hoping for c2 or C3 Raiden when she comes back again. All these characters rerun pretty often so getting a bunch of cons is not a problem. But as I said it's a big waiting game, after I've gotten allot of c3 or c4 on the characters i like, with more future reruns c6 is perfectly possible. And you can t do it with all the characters, only the ones you really really like. However I agree that getting R5 is pretty doomed for welkin players lol

I'm a small spender and even with welkin I don't see how you could achieve this. Especially if you're ONLY welkin. If all your content is done then you make like..120ish gems a day at most. That's dailies and welkin. I don't know how to count but there is no way someone makes enough primos for a c6 even if saving for a year. Plus losing 5050s and having to hit pity twice for one constellation. Lol u mad.
@@ilikebeingsad what kind of welkin do you have where you only get 120 primos a day? (Daily)60+(Welkin)90 = 150 primos a day? There's also all the primos from events, mail, abyss, shop, exploration, achievements, quests, etc. As I said you have to have a bit of luck and patience. With around 4-5 reruns c6 is possible, but the less you save the less chance you got, and the more lucky you have to be. Save more and it becomes alot less luck. There isn't many welkin players who have c6 characters yet, this is due to lack of time and reruns, but also because c6 is simply not the biggest powerspike for allot of the characters. Many become extremely powerful at c1-c4, so there isn't much point in going further.
Nice video, was fun watching :D I personally think Yoimiya is the perfect type of character for Genshin, she's fun, her quotes are charismatic and her style and adornments is a sight for sore eyes. I really hope Mihoyo make more characters like her
Yeah someone mentioned it a while ago while AOE would be fantastic on Yoimiya...her single target DPS is so good that you basically mow down enemies so fast you just keep switching between them lol!
Exactly! Whenever someone complains that Yoimiya got no AOE, I always cringe. I've never even thought of "Hmm it would be nice if Yoimiya can do some AOE" while playing her, it was never a problem.

hey IWTL, the charged attacks are admittedly bad- in any case: the Rust bow has a stat that increases normal attack damage at the cost of *decreasing* charged attack damage. just figured i’d remind you cause you probably don’t use that bow a lot 😅😂
@@tubadoggo1572 by what do you mean? her elemental skill is just an additional multiplier that adds its multiplier damage to her normal attack, I don't think it affects her charged attacks in anyway because her charged attack already infuse pyro anyways. (the E only infuses & increases the normal attack)
Wow, I loved this new format, more of this, now, I'm considering as a AR59 who's built almost every character with a set, to farm her to get that beautiful damage, mine does a little lower, like 80% of that Yoi, nice video, really inspired me to take her out for this season
This is really great. The stats are quite similar to mine, so it was impressive to see what good play can do in Abyss. I had used basically the same team, and while performance was ok, on side 1, things weren't nearly as speedy. Please do feature more C0 showcases! I'd volunteer my account if needed; I'm only missing Klee, Xiao and Ayato, and of the limiteds, only Ganyu and Zhongli are not C0.

I have a very well invested c0 r1 Ganyu (I've been playing since 1.1 and she's the stronger one out of my 2 DPSes, just to give you an idea of how much effort went into her and her only), and if you would like to carry on with this idea for a future rerun then it would be my honour for you to take her for a spin. If you're interested, my account has also got a whole arsenal of loadouts for your testings and showcasing, with Amos, Skyward and all the viable 4-star bows if you wish to compare them; and with good Wanderer's, Shimenawa's and Blizzard sets for that purpose too (the Shimenawa's is slightly sub-par compared to my Wanderer's, but I guess you could call it more casual-player friendly :>). @@mr_sugarcube Not necessarily. I mean yeah, Hu Tao would nuke every single boss when she is compared to Yoimiya, but tbh I would take c0 Yoimiya all day when it comes to abyss performance. A c0 Hu Tao would just drain your stamina making you lose a lot of dps, Yoimiya on the other hand doesn't even need her burst much, plus she doesn't consume any stamina unless you sprint, obv. (I mean no one would use her charged atk in abyss lol) charge cancel works but still not as efficient as Yoimiya's fast normal atks. boss nukes = Hu Tao Abyss = Yoimiya again both at c0
@@alfredwhoishe4025 Agreed. Although I could argue that in Abyss the mobs are spaced far from each other so Yoimiya may not even perform as one would think. And do not even lie that ALL shots will hit with Yoimiya at such distance. You'd need to come close/medium ish range. Which means dashing as well. Obviously Hu Tao's charged attacks will deplete stamina even further, but as Abyss is a team oriented domain, then Hu Tao can still easily outperform Yoimiya by simply having some form of crowd control (plus her charged attacks do a whole lot more damage) while Yoimiya does not gain any benefit at all when you bunch the mobs together except she doesn't have to move around too much chasing after each one to not miss a single shot. Also in some chambers nuking a certain mob is much more efficient even. Yoimiya's talent is designed horribly when it comes to mobs, which is truly unfortunate. This and with Sumeru update coming in, really shows how Hoyo did her dirty here.
@@JosePaoloCruz yepp I also agree with Yoimiya's kit. Well both of them have the same elemental teams anyways just by changing Bennett into Thoma, lol. But yeah, it would be nice if we can really see a performance comparison between the two.
When I pull for Yelan, I knew it was straightly for meta purposes. She's cool, she's hot and she's strong. But I can't say I really love the character. But when I pull for Yoimiya, my passion to the game was reignited once again. Bonus point that I can also put Yelan with Yoimiya.
Do you find Yoi's attack string to be as smooth and quick as Yelan's though? I don't have Yoi, and have only used her in the problematic trial, but her attack string does not feel as fluid as Yelan's, at least in that limited and not well designed test run.
@@pfortunato78 Do you mean their auto attack string? I personally also found Yelan's AA to be a bit more smoother. However, Yelan is usually off field so you barely see her AA anyways. Also Yelan's AA is the only part of her kit that's scale with atk% while you are building hp% on her. So unless you have C6, you are not gonna use her AA much but I do agree with you. Generally Yelan will feel a lot more snappy and quick to play cause she's a very agile sub DPS after all. On Yoimiya you really want to finish her whole attack sequence during her infusion so you might find her being a bit more sluggish in that regard. And yes, putting electro slimes in her trial is like getting trolled by MHY. And they gave us a group of enemies while Yoi's strength is single target boss. Her trial was more like a Xiangling showcase lmao. That said I still love her character and have gotten used to her playstyle.
@@davistsang4192 i often use yelan as the carry because her aa is so fast and smooth, plus her burst does significantly more dmg with her on the field due to her passive. I also have aqua.
Thanks for the great content! C0 "review" is amazing. I also just got her since I was not convinced when she came out. All those numbers do look impressive! However, I prefer to always combine my Yoimiya with Kazuha, since he just does so much AOE damage with almost 1k EM, besides buffing Yoi greatly and RES shred.
@@ArielCoronaVillano I do respect everyone has their own preference and that is good! However, I am a bit curious what is ur principle for not rolling Kazuha? For me personally, I find him convenient and most fun to play in almost every single team, overworld and abyss. Yoimiya is quite fun and flexible, too, just different style.
Another great video! I love how you can stay pretty objective about characters and instead of just talking you also show it to us. As a f2p player I love the idea of these C0 showcases! Keep up the good work! Also, one thing I'd like to add for the artifact farming part: Don't be scared of it. The Shimenawa's & Emblem domain is really good. You'll farm for both your dps characters and your support. And a lot of supports can use Emblem, while a lot of dps characters can use Shimenawa's (even if just the 2 piece sets in both cases), so no matter what you do, you'll certainly benefit from that domain.
I love C0 Showcases!! Feels more relateable haha. Yoimiya haver since her first banner, I love her personality and she hits hard makes boss farming a breeze

It's pretty cool to see other people's account and the insight of someone who creates content on it. This would definitely be a cool series to continue. I'm very proud of my Hu Tao/Tankfei team as a F2P and would be definitely down for you to give it a shot!
Something that I found was good while farming for Yoimiya is all the free Emblem pieces that you got as well because of how great the domain is, and if you farmed for emblem for Raiden, or Xingqui or Xiangling or anyone else you may already have some decent pieces lying around. I finally got Yoimiya after saving for her and Kazuha since 2.4 and I've had her for 1 day and she's honestly so much fun to use!
I got all the artifacts I need for her by swapping out some Shimenawa's from other characters (they were only using the 2pc and I had some decent Gladiators around so not much lost). End result is 69.3/173.4 crit ratio and 2187 Atk at LV 80/80 with an r3 Rust.
ever since yoimiya was unveiled in june 2021 i absolutely fell in love with her and new i had to have her. It’s been almost a year since i got her and she is easily the best most invested character i own! it’s so nice seeing people show how good of a unit she is, can’t wait to see more yoimiya mains as this banner goes on!!!
It's a welcome and enjoyable form of content, both the revisit and the viewer account angle. I'd be happy to volunteer my account if it meant more of this kind of video. I imagine that, now that the prompt is up, you will have plenty of volunteers and filtering through everyone could be a chore, so I wonder if you would have some sort of system in which we can submit our "curriculums" with account contents in a standard manner, like an e-mail or a form to fill. I'd gladly apply my low spender account. An example of the complications my account could present: I have a C0 Hutao, both R1 and R5 Dragon's Bane but I dont have a serviceable Crimson Witch set and only a very mediocre Shimenawa set. I'd even, for example, level my Klee or my Windblume's Ode for a chance to help you, RNG-zus knows we need *something* to do endgame...
I love the idea of using non-whale viewer accounts to showcase C0 characters again! I am especially interested in more videos like this since I only spent on the Welkin Moon. I would have liked to see Yoimiya with Yun Jin specifically because Yun Jin provided Yoimiya with one of the biggest buffs since her release, but I'm still happy with the content showcased here.
I spent 147 pulls for her but no regrets, instead worth the wait since I skip her for raiden before. Now what I need to do is finding a good pyro goblet and good pc shimenawa, I'm so jealous with that stat man holy hell. Right now my stat is: - 2k atk - 74 CR - 156 CD - r5 rust
Yoi's range make her very comfortable to play, especially against high mobility enemy that keeping appearing more and more in the game. Also, since she doesn't need to run towards enemy, it actually helps maintaining your dps in some scenarios, even in the recent abyss.
The dolphin experience account experience is the closest we get to what an actual free to play account is. Its great to see a different kind of investment compare to your usual gigawhale account. Would be awesome to see more videos about fan accounts in the future and how a gigawhale(iWtL) make a not so optimized/f2p/dolphin account work for a specific showcase, would very fun since not all of us have good character rolls/artifact rolls and seeing gigawhale deal with that would 10/10 would be fun!
I have a well-invested Ganyu c0 (talents 10-9-10), with complete morgana team (mona is half-invested, sadly) and i use a strange "ganyu melt team with yanfei c6" and its pretty awesome, both are dps when needed! you can do a showcase of her if you need!
If you want, if there will ever be a Eula, Hu Tao, Ayaya, Raiden rerun you can ask me if you want I have them all st C0 with f2p weapon most at peak performance :)
Loved this guide as always! I pulled for Yoimiya and got her C0 eventually after losing a 50/50 (got Qiqi ugh) but she is SO FUN TO PLAY. No regrets, now I am very tempted to roll for her weapon AHHH
Ive been a Yoimiya main ever since her very first banner, I was unable to get her weapon so Ive been using Rust R5 (which is absoutley amazing for a 4* weapon, reaaching 18k - 20k with no supports, 10-10-5 talents) this whole time but recently due to the rerun I finally got her bow!! Yoimiya has been my main DPS for quite a while, even though I have Ganyu and Hu Tao just because her personality and gameplay are way too much fun for me to ignore
I rly like the idea of using viewer's accounts to showcase c0 characters. I plan to pull for Al c0 when hes released, so would be nice if you could play him too, or do a video about raising him I love your videos, keep the good work! :D
Been a Hu Tao main since her release and I have her with Homa + one of her most popular teams (XQ/Yelan-Zhongli-Albedo) but I still take C0 Yoimiya with Rust to Abyss more often than her :') Yoimiya just feels a lot more comfortable to play and she's been carrying my Abyss runs especially against boss chambers
DO MORE C0 viewer acc VIDS!!!! It makes me feel SO much better seeing non whale numbers on characters I have. Not to mention how relieved I feel that I’m close to c0 max potential
R5 Rust is actually stronger than R1 Thundering pulse with only 2 stacks of passive, non-crit is also stronger thant R1 TP 3 stacks. For R1 TP to be stronger than R5 Rust, You need to always have 3 stacks of passive and high crit rate, maybe around 80%.
Yes Rust is godly F2P weapon for Yoi. Using it since I pulled her yesterday and it works like a blast. And yes a constant 80% NA buff is far more reliable than building stacks to achive max dmg
Hey iwtl, I really enjoyed a c0 showcase for these characters, please consider doing more such showcases and also dps showdowns using c0 f2p characters on viewer accounts.
I think it’s a great idea of using viewer’s account’s to showcase c0 characters since that way viewer’s can contribute in the video and also most players don’t have constellations on five stars.
Yoi works even better on current side two of floor 12. Less enemies and her range is rather helpful against the ruin worm. Balancing the damage on the last wave of 12-1 is the only real hurtle.
Fun Fact: You can use off-field damage to trigger Yoimiya's ult explosion. Which some of her most common teammates can do (Xingqiu, Yelan)! and it also is worth using for the attack buff!
Well, this account level is what I aim for too. Pretty solid stuff, good work! Although I do have other objectives in mind, since my favorite play style is still aimed shooting, not a trick-shooting with flips and jumps. The only reason I find viable to play Yoimiya is her overall cuteness and cheerfulness.
i would personally say do another showcase if something significant enough changed in the meantime. like new really good team comps. new bis weapons or 4* event weapons for those characters.
Buenari your build is quite impressive , unfortunately I don’t like her running Shime and neglecting her burst. But still great build and account. Team is also great, I like to run similar one.

The fun part is ... most "ignored" units aren't summoned because they arent as good as other options.
A LOT of people seem to care only about performance instead of design, personality, fun, ...everything else really. Eventough this game is way to easy anyway.
The fun part is: Yoimiya isnt bad at all. I would even go so far that, with the right support, she is better against single target DPS then Hu Tao.
As a Yoimiya main and somebody who makes showcase videos of what she can do, it makes me very happy to see how much more welcoming the the community seems to be for her this time around.

@@shaykirby5910 I have been clearing abyss 36 star with Yoimiya for the last 3 or 4 abyss rotations and I am f2p too. You don't need Zhongli to play her. I cleared abyss with Beidou, Xingqui and Bennett. Also if you are going to make that argument then you can say the same about Hu tao and melt Ganyu.
Side note: while Yoimiya’s CA is pretty bad for damage, you can use the homing shot effect to hit around the big hillichurl shields. This could be useful for players who might not be able to destroy those very easily

Doesn't Rust reduce the dmg of CAs? Maybe not the best option to show her CAs damage (even if it isn't much it shouldn't be so low either)

C0 with 4-Star "common" weapon videos do feel a lot more useful and relatable than C6 with 5-Star weapons.
C6 and R5 stuff is more just for "entertainment" than anything else.

I would say c6r1 is pretty achievable for welkin players though. Those videos are good to have to know if getting multiple cons is worth as a welkin player
@@oh-noe I can only speak from personal experience. I've been playing since release, and I do buy Welkin every month, and BP more often than not and I'm still missing 2 characters even with those paid bonuses. I have no wishes left for constellations or signature weapons (though I got lucky enough to accidentally get C1 for Albedo and Raiden). Making a character C6 with her signature weapon would likely mean skipping at least 4 or 5 (new) characters, so it sounds unreasonable (to me) as it would completely kill the enjoyment of exploring a new character and their combos and teams.
@@eonizen for a welkin player it is of course a waiting game. 4-5 banners of the same character should be enough. I used to be a BP player, but the last year I've only been a welkin player. I wish on literally everything, but I also wish on rerun banners of characters I like. Welkin players usually doesn't get all limited 5* anyways. So it's possible to skip those that there's not much interest in without much pain. Currently I have c2 Ayaka and I'm hoping for a c4 next rerun. Since I don't save it requires a bit of luck, but it's certainty possible, and I don't have a lack of random limited 5* either. I got c1 hu Tao too, and hoping for c2 or C3 Raiden when she comes back again.
All these characters rerun pretty often so getting a bunch of cons is not a problem.
But as I said it's a big waiting game, after I've gotten allot of c3 or c4 on the characters i like, with more future reruns c6 is perfectly possible. And you can t do it with all the characters, only the ones you really really like.
However I agree that getting R5 is pretty doomed for welkin players lol

I'm a small spender and even with welkin I don't see how you could achieve this. Especially if you're ONLY welkin. If all your content is done then you make like..120ish gems a day at most. That's dailies and welkin. I don't know how to count but there is no way someone makes enough primos for a c6 even if saving for a year. Plus losing 5050s and having to hit pity twice for one constellation. Lol u mad.
@@ilikebeingsad what kind of welkin do you have where you only get 120 primos a day? (Daily)60+(Welkin)90 = 150 primos a day? There's also all the primos from events, mail, abyss, shop, exploration, achievements, quests, etc. As I said you have to have a bit of luck and patience. With around 4-5 reruns c6 is possible, but the less you save the less chance you got, and the more lucky you have to be. Save more and it becomes alot less luck.
There isn't many welkin players who have c6 characters yet, this is due to lack of time and reruns, but also because c6 is simply not the biggest powerspike for allot of the characters. Many become extremely powerful at c1-c4, so there isn't much point in going further.

I personally think Yoimiya is the perfect type of character for Genshin, she's fun, her quotes are charismatic and her style and adornments is a sight for sore eyes.

Exactly! Whenever someone complains that Yoimiya got no AOE, I always cringe. I've never even thought of "Hmm it would be nice if Yoimiya can do some AOE" while playing her, it was never a problem.

hey IWTL, the charged attacks are admittedly bad- in any case: the Rust bow has a stat that increases normal attack damage at the cost of *decreasing* charged attack damage.

@@tubadoggo1572 by what do you mean? her elemental skill is just an additional multiplier that adds its multiplier damage to her normal attack, I don't think it affects her charged attacks in anyway because her charged attack already infuse pyro anyways. (the E only infuses & increases the normal attack)

Wow, I loved this new format, more of this, now, I'm considering as a AR59 who's built almost every character with a set, to farm her to get that beautiful damage, mine does a little lower, like 80% of that Yoi, nice video, really inspired me to take her out for this season
This is really great. The stats are quite similar to mine, so it was impressive to see what good play can do in Abyss. I had used basically the same team, and while performance was ok, on side 1, things weren't nearly as speedy. Please do feature more C0 showcases! I'd volunteer my account if needed; I'm only missing Klee, Xiao and Ayato, and of the limiteds, only Ganyu and Zhongli are not C0.

I have a very well invested c0 r1 Ganyu (I've been playing since 1.1 and she's the stronger one out of my 2 DPSes, just to give you an idea of how much effort went into her and her only), and if you would like to carry on with this idea for a future rerun then it would be my honour for you to take her for a spin. If you're interested, my account has also got a whole arsenal of loadouts for your testings and showcasing, with Amos, Skyward and all the viable 4-star bows if you wish to compare them; and with good Wanderer's, Shimenawa's and Blizzard sets for that purpose too (the Shimenawa's is slightly sub-par compared to my Wanderer's, but I guess you could call it more casual-player friendly :>). @@mr_sugarcube Not necessarily. I mean yeah, Hu Tao would nuke every single boss when she is compared to Yoimiya, but tbh I would take c0 Yoimiya all day when it comes to abyss performance. A c0 Hu Tao would just drain your stamina making you lose a lot of dps, Yoimiya on the other hand doesn't even need her burst much, plus she doesn't consume any stamina unless you sprint, obv. (I mean no one would use her charged atk in abyss lol) charge cancel works but still not as efficient as Yoimiya's fast normal atks.

@@alfredwhoishe4025 Agreed. Although I could argue that in Abyss the mobs are spaced far from each other so Yoimiya may not even perform as one would think. And do not even lie that ALL shots will hit with Yoimiya at such distance. You'd need to come close/medium ish range. Which means dashing as well. Obviously Hu Tao's charged attacks will deplete stamina even further, but as Abyss is a team oriented domain, then Hu Tao can still easily outperform Yoimiya by simply having some form of crowd control (plus her charged attacks do a whole lot more damage) while Yoimiya does not gain any benefit at all when you bunch the mobs together except she doesn't have to move around too much chasing after each one to not miss a single shot. Also in some chambers nuking a certain mob is much more efficient even. Yoimiya's talent is designed horribly when it comes to mobs, which is truly unfortunate. This and with Sumeru update coming in, really shows how Hoyo did her dirty here.
@@JosePaoloCruz yepp I also agree with Yoimiya's kit. Well both of them have the same elemental teams anyways just by changing Bennett into Thoma, lol. But yeah, it would be nice if we can really see a performance comparison between the two.

Wow That Yoimiya build is Amazing without using a crit weapon.
When I pull for Yelan, I knew it was straightly for meta purposes. She's cool, she's hot and she's strong. But I can't say I really love the character.
But when I pull for Yoimiya, my passion to the game was reignited once again. Bonus point that I can also put Yelan with Yoimiya.
Do you find Yoi's attack string to be as smooth and quick as Yelan's though? I don't have Yoi, and have only used her in the problematic trial, but her attack string does not feel as fluid as Yelan's, at least in that limited and not well designed test run.
@@pfortunato78 Do you mean their auto attack string? I personally also found Yelan's AA to be a bit more smoother. However, Yelan is usually off field so you barely see her AA anyways. Also Yelan's AA is the only part of her kit that's scale with atk% while you are building hp% on her. So unless you have C6, you are not gonna use her AA much but I do agree with you.
Generally Yelan will feel a lot more snappy and quick to play cause she's a very agile sub DPS after all. On Yoimiya you really want to finish her whole attack sequence during her infusion so you might find her being a bit more sluggish in that regard.
And yes, putting electro slimes in her trial is like getting trolled by MHY. And they gave us a group of enemies while Yoi's strength is single target boss. Her trial was more like a Xiangling showcase lmao.
That said I still love her character and have gotten used to her playstyle.
@@davistsang4192 i often use yelan as the carry because her aa is so fast and smooth, plus her burst does significantly more dmg with her on the field due to her passive. I also have aqua.

All those numbers do look impressive! However, I prefer to always combine my Yoimiya with Kazuha, since he just does so much AOE damage with almost 1k EM, besides buffing Yoi greatly and RES shred.

For me personally, I find him convenient and most fun to play in almost every single team, overworld and abyss. Yoimiya is quite fun and flexible, too, just different style.

Another great video! I love how you can stay pretty objective about characters and instead of just talking you also show it to us. As a f2p player I love the idea of these C0 showcases! Keep up the good work!
Also, one thing I'd like to add for the artifact farming part: Don't be scared of it. The Shimenawa's & Emblem domain is really good. You'll farm for both your dps characters and your support. And a lot of supports can use Emblem, while a lot of dps characters can use Shimenawa's (even if just the 2 piece sets in both cases), so no matter what you do, you'll certainly benefit from that domain.

Something that I found was good while farming for Yoimiya is all the free Emblem pieces that you got as well because of how great the domain is, and if you farmed for emblem for Raiden, or Xingqui or Xiangling or anyone else you may already have some decent pieces lying around. I finally got Yoimiya after saving for her and Kazuha since 2.4 and I've had her for 1 day and she's honestly so much fun to use!

I got all the artifacts I need for her by swapping out some Shimenawa's from other characters (they were only using the 2pc and I had some decent Gladiators around so not much lost). End result is 69.3/173.4 crit ratio and 2187 Atk at LV 80/80 with an r3 Rust.
Almost like mine. Mine is lvl75, 80/175 crit 2150 atk, with r0 Aqua, got a r2 rust but not using that atm.

ever since yoimiya was unveiled in june 2021 i absolutely fell in love with her and new i had to have her. It’s been almost a year since i got her and she is easily the best most invested character i own! it’s so nice seeing people show how good of a unit she is, can’t wait to see more yoimiya mains as this banner goes on!!!
It's a welcome and enjoyable form of content, both the revisit and the viewer account angle. I'd be happy to volunteer my account if it meant more of this kind of video. I imagine that, now that the prompt is up, you will have plenty of volunteers and filtering through everyone could be a chore, so I wonder if you would have some sort of system in which we can submit our "curriculums" with account contents in a standard manner, like an e-mail or a form to fill. I'd gladly apply my low spender account.
An example of the complications my account could present:
I have a C0 Hutao, both R1 and R5 Dragon's Bane but I dont have a serviceable Crimson Witch set and only a very mediocre Shimenawa set.
I'd even, for example, level my Klee or my Windblume's Ode for a chance to help you, RNG-zus knows we need *something* to do endgame...

I love the idea of using non-whale viewer accounts to showcase C0 characters again! I am especially interested in more videos like this since I only spent on the Welkin Moon. I would have liked to see Yoimiya with Yun Jin specifically because Yun Jin provided Yoimiya with one of the biggest buffs since her release, but I'm still happy with the content showcased here.

I spent 147 pulls for her but no regrets, instead worth the wait since I skip her for raiden before.

Guys am I the only one wandering why didn't mihoyo make a special event quest for Yoimiya eventhough it's summer and she's the summer festival queen??
Yoi's range make her very comfortable to play, especially against high mobility enemy that keeping appearing more and more in the game.
Also, since she doesn't need to run towards enemy, it actually helps maintaining your dps in some scenarios, even in the recent abyss.
The dolphin experience account experience is the closest we get to what an actual free to play account is. Its great to see a different kind of investment compare to your usual gigawhale account. Would be awesome to see more videos about fan accounts in the future and how a gigawhale(iWtL) make a not so optimized/f2p/dolphin account work for a specific showcase, would very fun since not all of us have good character rolls/artifact rolls and seeing gigawhale deal with that would 10/10 would be fun!
I have a well-invested Ganyu c0 (talents 10-9-10), with complete morgana team (mona is half-invested, sadly) and i use a strange "ganyu melt team with yanfei c6" and its pretty awesome, both are dps when needed! you can do a showcase of her if you need!
If you want, if there will ever be a Eula, Hu Tao, Ayaya, Raiden rerun you can ask me if you want I have them all st C0 with f2p weapon most at peak performance :)
Loved this guide as always! I pulled for Yoimiya and got her C0 eventually after losing a 50/50 (got Qiqi ugh) but she is SO FUN TO PLAY. No regrets, now I am very tempted to roll for her weapon AHHH
Ive been a Yoimiya main ever since her very first banner, I was unable to get her weapon so Ive been using Rust R5 (which is absoutley amazing for a 4* weapon, reaaching 18k - 20k with no supports, 10-10-5 talents) this whole time but recently due to the rerun I finally got her bow!! Yoimiya has been my main DPS for quite a while, even though I have Ganyu and Hu Tao just because her personality and gameplay are way too much fun for me to ignore
honestly one of the most underrated characters in Genshin, I am proud to main her from day 1 of her release

Been a Hu Tao main since her release and I have her with Homa + one of her most popular teams (XQ/Yelan-Zhongli-Albedo) but I still take C0 Yoimiya with Rust to Abyss more often than her :') Yoimiya just feels a lot more comfortable to play and she's been carrying my Abyss runs especially against boss chambers

R5 Rust is actually stronger than R1 Thundering pulse with only 2 stacks of passive, non-crit is also stronger thant R1 TP 3 stacks. For R1 TP to be stronger than R5 Rust, You need to always have 3 stacks of passive and high crit rate, maybe around 80%.
Yes Rust is godly F2P weapon for Yoi. Using it since I pulled her yesterday and it works like a blast. And yes a constant 80% NA buff is far more reliable than building stacks to achive max dmg

Yoi works even better on current side two of floor 12. Less enemies and her range is rather helpful against the ruin worm. Balancing the damage on the last wave of 12-1 is the only real hurtle.

I’m glad I rolled for her, just in case she ended up being good during her first banner. I’m finally exploring the pyro element and I’m loving it.
Fun Fact: You can use off-field damage to trigger Yoimiya's ult explosion. Which some of her most common teammates can do (Xingqiu, Yelan)! and it also is worth using for the attack buff!

Well, this account level is what I aim for too. Pretty solid stuff, good work! Although I do have other objectives in mind, since my favorite play style is still aimed shooting, not a trick-shooting with flips and jumps. The only reason I find viable to play Yoimiya is her overall cuteness and cheerfulness.
i would personally say do another showcase if something significant enough changed in the meantime. like new really good team comps. new bis weapons or 4* event weapons for those characters.
