I'm an INFJ married to an INTJ. One year for Christmas the gifts we got each other is another great example of their differences: I got him stuff I thought would be meaningful (like a custom costume bearing his family crest)....he got me stuff he knew I needed to improve my life (like a rice cooker and ice cream scooper). 😂
I'm INFJ also married to an INTJ and exactly THE SAME 😂 Here I am pouring my heart and soul with thoughtful gifts for him, and got even creative with a personal touch! He gets me something that was useful. It is also very thoughtful but very interesting to see how this plays out. I learned a lot
@@xshrathat’s wild you both couples did the same! As an INFJ about to get divorce this gives me hope maybe one day I will meet my final “proper” match lol!!!! ☮️
Hey feelers, in defense of the #INTJ : know that if I (for example), care, I'll scour the globe for that perfect (practical) present you mention. Making sure that it's tailored exactly (as I see it) to the specific person, and if it goes unappreciated, it's like a punch in the face. As is a lack of understanding at how much thought and effort has been put into it.
Same here! INFJ married to an INTJ. This past Christmas I got him some merch from his favorite game and he got me a coffee pot since mine broke 😂 I love it though, I needed one
Yes. That's your Fe Parent function. It usually takes over when you're not feeling "heard" with your vision ability... the ability to see what's best for people... so in turn you just decide to overly help. Check out my other vids on here or TT for more!
@@iamcleary doing that - being 'too nice - can make an INTJ feel REALLY uncomfortable and awkward. As can compliments and 'affirmations'. Probably seems crazy to a feeler.
INTj, we dont show emotions with our face, but be sure, that we are comfortable around you guys, if we werent,, the first thing we’d do is gtfo of there
Thanks for this video! I have always tested as INFJ the past 5 years, one time I got INTJ so have been looking into the differences. Edit: I'm now learning more about cognitive functions to "type" myself. Using one of Frank James video as reference to guide me!
I believe I'm like the bubble in a level when determining if I am INTJ or INFJ. Depending on variables, I lean one way or the other and sometimes in the center.
As an INTJ, I'm more inclined to give people the "solution" for their problems when they come to me to vent, rather than just hearing and offering emotional support. A few people have complained about that trait of mine... but i just can't understand why you'd tell someone about your problems without seeking for an advice to solve them. I guess an INFJ would be more tactful in those situations.
@@dorian7692 absolutely! And nothing pisses me off more than someone who's not interested in solutions, but instead is just whinging. I freakin' hate whingers! #INTJ
INTJ Friends, family, and coworkers always tell me, they can't tell when I'm joking because my face doesn't change. I've also done stuff they wouldn't believe if they hadn't seen me do it. Let's play, find the lie. 1 - I was a leader of a gang of kids that warred with the next street by whacking each other with tree branches. 2 - In high school, my classmates chanted my name and called me king just because they thought I was cool. 3 - I'm from Anchorage, Alaska because my dad was in the military.
I cant help but laugh whenever you do the intj emotionless 😶 stare 🤣🤣 i was unsure if my mother was intp or intj but the stare was so accurate now I know which one 😂
i used to believe in 16 personalities until people started stereotyping and boxing up everyone(same with lgbt dumb ideas) people often forgot that humans are evolving creatures so even we are comfortable who we are, we should not stop adapting or learning new ideas. it is good to know where are we good at or at peace. but boxing yourself up is dumb. i am intj but i dont seem look emotionless but more like deciding with more logical than emotional. we aren't batman, but almost same beliefs as batman. and we intj can be unique and have different preferences. we all not wearing black, i like black but i know how to wear aesthetics.
It's only one perspective of describing personalities. Everyone has a different ratio of the traits that is specific to them. The stereotyping is from a lack of understanding and no nuance to it.
I’m not sure what I am anymore, and by that I mean the label. I’m very emotional, very empathic, but I’m also the type of person that’ll kick you in the butt with my straightforwardness and give you advice that you probably never asked for. I rely on my intuition, and my emotions, but it has to be logical too. I see the big picture, envision the future and plan accordingly. See, I’m a “in-between” person, literally. I’m even an Aries/Taurus cusp 😩 Fire and earth. So, I think I’m a **INFTJ**. I’m both of them. I’m also thinking that 1) None of us are that simple that can just fit the box with specific labels. Nobody is JUST this or that. We’re on a spectrum and labels may help some of us to figure things out 2) Aside from Myers Briggs, one can also be a different Enneagram type, which plays a role in how we interact with ourselves and outside world. 3) I’m also very much into astrology. It’s not meaningless. Everything is energy, and planets and the vibration of earth on the day we’re born can impact us. Anyway, I know who I am, what my strengths and weaknesses are, and tags only restrain us. We should always improve and aim for growth.
@ personalityguy, I would love to hear what you have to say. Can’t wait. But I don’t get RUclips notifications on my iPad. Would be great if you remember to share the link to your video when you have the time. Thank you 💖
#INTJ perspective: We're great at offending people, but that's their problem. They can go jump in the lake. Not so great at persuasion. That's frustrating, but the world is full of idiots, so what can you do? 🤷♂

You cannot change your personality but might be you have both personality traits from the start
I see. This is ESFP's
A good quick summary
Man, this was a trip!
Always tested as INTJ but wondered if it should be INFJ (always thinking/analyzing, you know). This did it -- INTJ.
